It's a picyure of some cliffs, I think it was on some sort of tourism website
Hi,
A few years back when i started out using flash, i traced a bitmap that I found on the internet, and i used it as a background, I forgot about the animation i used it in, and never thought about it again, but recently I come across the animation, and I've decided to put it on my web site, the only problem is, i can remember where i found the image that's traced, so will I be able to use it even though I've not got the permission from the person who took the original photo, seeing as it's traced and isn't actually the original bitmap it's self, or will I need to track down the original image and get permission, or take a new photo myself?
thanks
Does anyone know if I can publish hate mail that my site receives, or do I need to make a disclaimer or something first?
Hi, can anyone help me out on making sure a checkbox has been ticked when a user clicks submit on a form. ,nd if its not, they get a pop-up saying that they need to tick the box before they can continue.
thanks

I was using Php 4 which isn't supported my windows 2003 server.
Hi,
thanks for all the help. I've managed to get one working, it turns out the problem was that i wasn't on a linux server, I feel really stupid for not checking that before
Bill bailey, Ross Noble, Russel Howard and Matt Kirshen
I know that my friends on other servers have managed to get them to work (off of the same templates)
I've tried it with all 5 of my e-mail accounts (2 hotmail, 1 gmail, 2 on my server) and it still doesn't work.
Hi,
I've been trying to make a php feed back form for my site, I've tried hundreds of different templates (including one that streamline supplied), I've even used a teach yourself php book, but none of them work, some of them return error messages, some of them seem to work fine but I never receive the mail. If anyone using streamline has got one to work, please let me know. Advice from anyone who isn't using streamline is welcomed aswell.
If this helps, I'm using the unlimited package on streamline.net, i know that my server supports php and mailers, but i can't get any of them to work.
Thanks

Cheers, i'm kind of new to web design, so thats why i used tables :S, I'll have to figure out how to use css.
Hey,
I've used a table on dream weaver to keep my text and images inline, but when i test the site, the table lines are still visible, does anyone know how to make it so you can only see them in design view?

Mines got to be the Banjo scene in deliverence, or the old casino fight scene in A Clockwork Orange. ah yeah and the closing scene of the good the bad and the ugly "Hey blone, you know what you are? Just a dirty son of a biiii-ah-ah-ahhhh wah wah wahhhh"
Hi,
I've got a (fairly) big project going on at the moment in collage, my teacher wants to see the first five pages of it tomorrow, and as per usual, I've left it to the last minuet, so do you think it will notice if i changed the font size from 12 to 13, that way it adds half a page to my already written 4, or do you think it will look to obvious that I've made the font larger?
also if anyone else can suggest any ways i can pad this out i'd be grsatefull.
The good, the bad and the fuckin' ugly
reservoir fuckin' dogs
2001: a fuckin' space odyssey

That's all I can fuckin' do atm
Doesn't sound like it's making threats to me, more like encouraging the kid to do the toy's dirty work.
I vaguely remember a few years back a recall on a talking pickacu that said "F**k you"
When i write I find it helps if i imagine what i'm writing is going to be turned into a film, so I listen to music, untill I find a song which i think will make a good sound track, I then think what would happen what would happen on screen to acompanie the music, and then work my way back/forward through the story from that scene.
You missed out the big twist at the end...

Also, wtf is marzipan?
it has a texture sort of like icing. It usually comes in blocks, and you usally find as decorations on cakes cakes and quite often in boxes of chocolate. you can also buy marzipan fruits, which look like real fruits, apples, bananas etc.
im not 100% but i think it comes from italy
Actually, just on thinking about, i think i can detect a hint of grape in it
I've realized the drink Dr Pepper doesn't actually have a labeled flavour. I've always sound it tastes like marzipan, one of my friends thinks it's a cherry flavor, and another friend thinks it tastes like cola. so what does the newgrounds bbs think?
It's a virtual portal form 4chan, they're planning to take our freedom , the bbs mods say to leave it, but we must assemble an army of users who have alt accounts to carry on their name. 4chan may be larger in numbers, but we will bring more real internet soldiers than to face they're hordes of part-time worriors.
The cyberworld will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many, and that before this battle is over, even 4chan can FAIL. Newgrounders, Ready your breakfast and eat hearty... For tonight, we dine in hell!

Just googled the names of them films, it doesn't look like thats it, thanks any way tho
Try drinking REAL beer form a small time brewery.
nah, the second ones definatley spy kids, i remember i saw it before spy kids had been released.
And im sure none of them are the borrowers, i remember that film lol.
Hey,
You know when you, remember a book/film you saw/read years ago, but you can't remember the name of it, and really bugs you until you remember it, but if you don't remember it slowly drives you crazy (maybe not for you but i have OCD) So, newground has helped me out with stuff like this before, I've tryed googling it, but can't find these three things so i thought i'd try you guys again.
Ok the first name im trying to remember is a book we read in Year8 English five years back. fromwhat i can remember it was about a woman who's husband was abusive, and this day he went out to dig out/fix a well in their garden, and he uncovers a race of people who live underground, the communicate with him and his wife with letters, and the guy and his wife throw some chicken down to them. They then ask to try turkey, and the story ends with the husband climbing to the bottom of the well, and the underground people think he is turkey and eat him. Also if this helps i think the underground people called the people living on earth "surface dwellers".
the second is a film from , probable about 7 years ago now, I saw it on t.v, I don't remember much from it, except it was sort of like a cross between the goonies, and spy kids about this group of kids, one of the kid's grandfather owned a toy shop which was being closed down, and the kids uncover some sort of conspiricy, and they set out to stop it. i remember one of the kids set a password for some cumuter system which was the chineese word for "chair" and the villains had this whole team of hackers who couldn't figure it out.
and i remember next to nothing about this last one. it was annother kids film i saw on tv probably about 8/9 years ago now. It was about these children, (i think they were on summer break) and they find a portal into the old west, can't really remeber much else about it other than it, turns out their schools principal also found this portal, and it turn out, he was taking stuff from the past as selling it in the present, and he gets caught for it and is disciplinned some how.
I know this is a huge long shot, but i figured if you guy's can't help, im never gonna find it.

"I'm very interested in buying the Education version of Adobe Creative Suite, but first I want to know if the software can be used to produce work for paying customers once I am working in the industry, or do I have to buy a different version of Creative Suite once I'm working in the industry?"
Answer
Good news! You can use Adobe Education software (any title!) to produce commercial/professional paid-for work when you leave school, or even while you are in school. In this regard, Adobe does not limit how student software is used. So students can use it to learn and to make money!
(Of course, students must agree to the terms of the End User Licensing Agreement - which appears during installation - just as every software customer must do.)"
