Seriously, this could be published work! And i knew something else would come up about that baby that was killed there!!
I left my prom early with a few friends to play WOW, and solve Rubik's cubes!
I really, really wish that was a lie.
does anyone know where I can get hold of a Sandworm from Dune costume (like the one in that episode of "Chuck"), I've tried googling it, but havn't found much.
One of my friends in response to being told "I hope you live a loveless life", replied with;
"I hope you meet a beautiful woman, fall in love, marry her and have kids together........ the have them all die in front of you!"
Hey,
I'm looking for a piece of music witch starts of slow and quiet, but builds up into quite a tense, fast piece. It's for a short film I'm making and it needs to reflect the fear of the main character which increases from being a little worried, to full on panic. The piece needs to preferably be classical, the closest thing I can think of is Grieg's Hall of the Mountain king, but it's a little short (it needs to run for around 3 minuets). So does anyone have any ideas?
Wow! Easily my favorite chapter so far, finally some answers, and so many of them! I'm going to be really disappointed when this story's finished, I'm really going to miss it, think I'll print it off, it'll be interesting to see how many pages it takes up.
One of the problems that you have is that you don't know what you're doing.
You are indeed right there. To be honest with you Css, is way outside of my comfort zone, thanks for the advice, I'm going to look at that site, now, and as you said, try to actually learn Css.
Hi,
I'm having a few problems trying to line things up using absolutes and percentages. Basically, I've got my background image centered at 50%, then I've got my text, and header image,when I try to center them at 50% to align with the background, they both align from the left, whereas the background image aligns from the middle, so they go off balance. I've managed to get them all in line by setting the text and heading at 31%, but will that work with all screen resolutions?
here's the code I'm using;
<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
body
{
background-image: url(background.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-y;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-position: 50% 50%;
background-color: #333333;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
line-height: normal;
height: auto;
width: 730;
}
</style>
<style type="text/css">
h2.pos_abs
{
position:absolute;
left:31%;
top:220px;
width: 730;
height: 529px;
}
</style>
<style type="text/css">
heading
{
Position:absolute;
left:31%;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<h2 align="left" class="pos_abs">Main body of text goes here!</h2>
<heading align="centre" class="pos_abs"><img src="heading.png" width="732" height="200"></heading>
</body>
</html>
While trying to transferee some documents on to my flash drive, I get a pop-up saying that the drive is full, so I delete some of the less important files off it, but the free space doesn't change. So I copy every thing from it onto my hard drive, and delete everything on the usb drive, an it's still saying there's only 15.6 Mb available on the drive. It's got a 4 Gig capacity, so there should be a lot more space than that, any ideas on whats going wrong?
Two places.....
a teacher of mince once drunk in my Dad's pub and tried to steal a garden umbrella, and I once saw my media teacher in a near-ish by town center, wearing a tweed trilby with a white ribbon tied round it, looking around at the building like he was a tourist, not really strange but it made me laugh.

It's just like real life, you can't change what you originally said....... unless you're a politician.
Thank you all for posting, I've got some great feed back and opinions, cheers.

Ah yeah I never thought to put it in politics :S
Do you think the Mods will have a problem with it if I post it there as well? It could be interesting to compare reply's between the general forum and the polotics.
So, this year for Media Studies, I have to do some research into the effects of violent films on violent behavior of children (i.e does it cause violence in children's behavior). As part of the research I have to ask the opinions of users on an internet forum, so here I am asking you, Newgrounds. Do you think that violence in films can cause violent behavior of children? (a child being any one under the age of 18).

I'm partly posting to say another awesome chapter man, but mostly, I'm posting just to piss this guy off, and see if he really can bump "every thread that isn't locked that has a 4chan meme in it."!
It looks like he's doing the where the hell is Matt? dance.

More than likely your hardware was what the problem was. I have no problem running any of those programs simultaneously on a windows computer.
Actually, I've done it on same specd computers and they defiantly run a lot better on Mac.

sorry, I meant to say I couldn't tell you exactly how I did the black, and the hair is just a faded green brush.

Nah, the white paint, Is just a duplicate of his face lightend, desaturated, then I added a little noise, the n red is just a Red palliated on a layer above the white then set layer mode to multiply, and I couldn't tell you exactly how I did the hair.
This photo-shop was done as a request for a friend, to be honest with you I'm quite proud of it. If people like it, I'll make a how-to tutorial.

WOW, Nanosaur 2, Enigmo, so on so forth, and everyone who complains about compatibility from now on will be eternally screwed because you all forgot about boot camp. If you still think windows are great for software, they are only good for other peoples. Now go eat something. I will.
Ah dude, no.... no, no,no, please don't tell me that you just used boot camp as a reason for why Macs are more compatible. I've already stated that I preffer MAcs, but that argument just doesn't work, seeing as all boot camp does, is partition your hard drive so that you can install windows on part of it.
Ok, both Mac and P.C (I tried to install fedora on a partition on my mac, but I downloaded the ppc version instead of the Intel version, and haven't got round to re-downloading yet).
I must admit, I do prefer Macs, I've not really had a proper try with vista, so I'm not going to say anything against it. But what people are saying about Mac's compatibility isn't necessarily true. Final cut pro and Logic 8 are both industry standards, and Mac only. Also, The main programs I run on my computers is, Fireworks, Flash and Photoshop Cs3, Firefox and Thunderbird. Firefox's performance seems about equal between the two OS's, however, my experiences with XP, running Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop simultaneously Is hell, but it's not a problem on my Macs, even my Mac Book can handle it.
But there's no-point in trying to change peoples minds about their preferred OS seeing as 9/10 times their mind is made up. What I will say though is, I know ALOT more people that have transferred from PC to Mac, than from Mac to PC in fact, I don't know anyone who has changed from a mac to a PC, but that doesn't mean that no-one has done it.
This just seems like a ripp-off of the Rich Hall, Tome Cruise joke, only Rich Hall's version worked.....
