I found a guide online that explained how to turn your Wii remote into a portal gun.
I followed it, and it worked.
Then I have gone out to the balcony, and tried to make a portal on the ground far below me.
Turns out the batteries were drained.
So I got a new pair, and when I just made my first portal, the dream ended.

Well, I would use it in a way I mentioned, to quickly go outside from the point of the balcony (without using lift and all that)

For graphics it uses RAGE.
Today games use multiple engines.
Heck, the previously mentioned Crackdown uses Renderware for graphics, Havok for physics and SpeedTree for foliage.
