I'd say Nintendo 64 for some nice classics. I won't say PS2, I had a Gamecube instead for Nintendo games and for everything else I used a PC.

This is true. A lot of good games are "repetitive".
In fact, the least repetitive games I can call are minigame collections. Most of them aren't good, so that doesn't mean variety instantly makes a game good.

Good thing I cancelled my preorder. Why did they do that is beyond me. Having an online PC game with no dedicated servers is like going before the ancient times.

They better not, the supposed "High Definition" already ruined shit in gaming (developers care about graphics even more than before, and it raised the prices of PS3 and 360 games by 10 dollars). And most pf the PS3 and 360 games aren't anything near HD.

Hey man, I'd love to see that too. I mean, Saints Row does better job at being GTA now but it's still not the same. In fact I'd just like Rockstar to revert to the older style and make more games in the GTA III canon instead of rebooting the series over and over again.
But that will never happen.

I bought CS:S Source Multiplayer pack and it's good. Day Of Defeat Source is pretty fun too. Later I got CS 1.6 from Half-Life Platinum Pack anyway, which was very cheap.

I know the article is poorly written, but I've found a Kotaku article and some others that back it up. No dedicated servers, no modding, more expensive, and DLC costs money for the PC.
