And or, ghettofabulous. Yes, I'd be down for a ghettofabulous war, as opposed to a cold war. I'm sure that the soldiers would have wicked hairstyles, bitchin' rides, and often hilarious catchphrases? :P

WHAT IF children were not allowed to go to church until about age 10? at that age, a child should be able to tell the difference between truth and lies. i mean honestly, if it wasnt for the church brainwashing children at age 2, no one would believe such a thing.

....on the other hand, if people want to believe in god, let them. but still, i think the only reason christianity is still in motion is because of parents influence on their kids. shouldnt the child get to choose if they believe or not?

I think inferno90 has a point. Even though that would reflect a highly dictatorial state; if church was off limits until a certain age, it would make a hell of a lot of sense in many other respects.

I mean, when their parents thrust them into the "family religion", a child is left out of choosing whether or not they want to have anything to do with that religion or not.

Personally, I think religion is a total load of shlock, but people should still be allowed to choose to follow a creed, if that's what makes them happy.

Heh, well that would be one way to start up a second cold war, really friggin' fast!

However, in the end, nobody truly won. That is of course, because they all represented heartless fast food conglomerates that dish out nutritionally devoid drivel. I think that a celery stalk would have fucked everybody up pretty badly if it were thrown into that tussle. :P

The ultimate battle of awesomeness.

Lol, you might wanna check around a lil more. Your ignorance leads you to believe they're the same as jeovah's witnesses. They basically give medication, food, and shelter as fli stated. They say whatever they want about Jesus for anyone who wants to listen. That's how it works: You don't like it, it's ok. You like it: awesome :D

Well, maybe I jumped the gun a little bit there. :D

All in all I think that I was moreso fuming at people who have been pushy with their beliefs towards me in the past, and may have deviated from the point a bit. The fact that they offer aide such as food, shelter, etc is cool; I personally just have somewhat of a grudge against religion.

Music and the arts are great! I think that they should be held at equal importance as the sciences. Without the delightful spice of art and free expression, life would be pretty dull, eh?

Response to: Getting a DS Lite... Posted July 19th, 2007 in General

The DS has tons of wicked fun games, but one that has really stood above the rest in my eyes is Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. It's one of, if not the best action sidescrollers that the system has had to date. POR is quick and easy to get into, with loads of quests and sweet items to keep you coming back. The rpg system is nicely integrated in the game, and you can really have some powerful heroes after you finish the game. Asside from that, there are oodles of skills that you can learn and level up on. Wow, I'm definitely rambling, but yeah. The DS has great games, and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is easily in the top 5. I totally recommend it!

Castlevania: POR on Metacritic

I think that teh game is battlefield, or battlegrounds? I'm pretty sure that it's on Bonus.com, if that is indeed the one that you're talking about. I hope that helps!
