uh...no...WebChat is an IRC server. There are millions of other IRC servers out there. THis one connects to one of those, it is real IRC.

Also, it isn't Flashchat v 1.3.whatever or whatever you said, it is connected to a realtime IRC server.

Updates, updates, updates...that's all that has been happening in the past few days, so why not update IRC also?

A few months ago, my friend and I found this Flash IRC client. I got to know the owner of the server which this client was connected to, and a few days ago, he gave me a copy of the client. I got another friend to configure the IRC Client to his server, and it is up and running there. (link to flash client)

It is a real IRC client, connected to a real server, which is...real. It is a fully customizable Client that I can give the source to one of the admins, if they would like to use it here.

I am going to now try to answer all questions I can think of, so we can have a minimal amount of questions being asked.

1: It is connected to a real server, which means that YES, you can connect with mIRC, snak, or some other IRC client.
2: IT IS FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE, MEANING IT CAN HAVE THE NG LOGO PASTED ALL OVER IT.
3: IT IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC YET. I GOT IT FROM THE OWNER OF THE SERVER IT WAS ORIGINALLY CONNECTED TO, WHO GOT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL CREATOR OF THE CLIENT. SO DONT ASK ME FOR THE CODE UNLESS YOU ARE TOM, WADE, OR LILJIM.
4: THE SERVER IS NOT WEBCHAT.
5: It is impossible for it to connect to webchat. It needs its own special port to connect to the server with.

And...those are all the questions I can think of.

I believe this flash client is a thousand times better than the crappy java applet.

Ok, so i vote on an entry, it says "Vote on 4 more movies to deposite your EXP!"

THen i do it again.

And again.

THen i realize i wasn't logged in.

So i logged in and voted again. Still said i had to vote 4 more times.

Then i voted again. It went down to three, so i thought my troubles were over.

Then i voted on another movie and it went back up to four.

Now it's just been going back and fourth between 3 and 4.

This is very annoying. I WANT MY EXP DAMNIT!!!
