3.80 / 5.00 4,200 Views*NavCom is denied access to all Tortugan large fleet ships, including the remaining Sins and both Zanzibar's and LeChuck's ships. This being due to the fact that those ships each require a presence of LeChuck or Zanzibar. Those ships were encoded with an unbreakable code: a soul code. They could not be mobilized without specific authorization by either LeChuck or Zanzibar. Therefore, as soon as LeChuck and Zanzibar had left the battlefield, each ship was immediately put on total lockdown. They were not able to move or return fire. The protocol was that in such a case, each ship automatically placed all its power into shielding, making them virtually invincible. Again, these unhackable due to soul encoding. NavCom succeeded in controlling several hundred Tortugan fighters.*
*The Jyeet fleet was entirely different. Upon leaving, they were set to self-destruct, which was an unbreakable sequence unless a being were present aboard the ship, disabling any outside influences from controlling their ships. Every Jyeet fighter, along with Kolip 12, and Sto'Pos I, II and IV detonated in space.*
*Of the entire Tortugan fleet, NavCom was only able to control several hundred fighters. Devil's Plague and King's Ransom, along with the Sins were unmovable and unharmable, sitting motionless in space.*
*LeChuck piped up at Zanzibars affirmation of being the best pirate ever. LeChuck shoved Zanzibar slightly.*
"Actually mate, I believe I be the best pirate this turd has ever seen. Gimme...no wait.....hehe....I'll save that for later."
*He held his cutlass in one hand, playing with it as Zanzibar's swords stayed still in the air above him.*
"So shall we lay down rules? Or just that everythin' but guttin yer mother is allowed?"
*LeChuck laughed as each soldier and creatures were astonished. He took no time, however, in speeding behind Farlander as he flew backwards from Zanzibars punch, and planting a foot to the back of his head, sending him cartwheeling into the ground. LeChuck then stomped on him twice.*
"Haha, Farlie, whatcha gonna do now, eh? Ye have no ships, no weapons, no fancy computers. Yer on another plane of existence."
*LeChuck laughed as he drew his cutlass*
"Aint that a bitch?"
*LeChuck laughs as he feels the anti-magic fields brush against him. He leans down to let one giant burning eye gaze into the bridge of Lusankya.*
That mighta worked, if it was conventional magic, ye twit. Unless yer God or the Devil, one of which we know personally, ye aint workin' yer bullshit on us mate. But those fields do tickle kinda.
*LeChuck swatted Lusankya, sending it wildly spinning for a moment. He watched Zanzibar passing his hands over fighters which quickly turned from fighting and diving to floating dead in space. LeChuck saw the Immortals also destroying the SCA fleet. He picked up another fighter, and this time he reached back and threw it into space as far as he could. It left a trail behind it as if it had gone into hyper-space. Upon closer inspection, however, these were just tiny pieces of the ship as it had been partially torn apart from the it's velocity upon release.*
*LeChuck hailed Zanzibar*
This is boring. Can't we just go back to normal already? I feel like we're burnin' ants with a magnifyin' glass.
*LeChuck contemplated Zanzibar's words. He hadn't thought they would ever have to break the boundaries. They had done it before in the past and had mastered the effects of it, but that was only when they had faced enemies far greater than Farlander. LeChuck had fought monsters in the universe Farlander only had nightmares about. At first LeChuck shrugged off the suggestion, thinking it obscene overkill. Sure, they could've ended everything by breaking their boundaries. But where was the fun in that? Besides being quite draining on them, it was always extremely broad. LeChuck feared that either of them might incidentally cause irreparable damage to Earth if one of them was careless for even one moment. He scratched his chin as he began to realize why it just might be necessary at this point. Tortuga could reappear at any moment, true. And despite the fact it could now withhold even easier that Farlander's forces were more than halved, he didn't want to see it threatened anymore. He raised both eyebrows as he eventually ceded. Zanzibar was right. Besides, it would do more good than harm, ending this as quickly as possible. Despite the fact that they just might wipe out every mortal life for a several thousand mile radius, LeChuck was willing to take that chance to protect Tortuga.*
Okay. But let's do this quick
*LeCHuck hopped out of his seat and ordered everyone out of the control room. When the men looked confused at first, LeChuck let loose a bellow that shook the room. The sailors climbed over each other to get out. LeChuck hollered after them that they were not to return until they saw a gigantic, smoky version of himself out in space through a window. One man nodded nervously and closed the door. LeChuck stood and ripped open his shirt. He slapped one palm over the dark circle in his gut and quickly commuinicated with Zanzibar.*
Okay mate, this is it. I'm breakin' boundaries......now
*LeChuck released his crystal and began chanting. His other hand slowly moved down to cover his other one already over the circle. His eyes closed and he continued chanting. Finally he screamed, "ANNN-CIIIEEENNNTSS!!!!!". From around him spirits began to come into view. They were misty, swirling about LeChuck, seeming to roll their hands on him and then off. LeChuck slowly levitated off the ground, but not all of him. His soul slowly left his body. It floated up and out, and the spirits carried him out into the vacuum of space. The dark circle was a glowing black orb within him. The spirit's continued working their magic on LeChuck, and finally he let out a roar that could, surprisingly, be heard in space. All the sailors nearby turned to look at the astonishing occurence outside. LeChuck's shoulders arched backwards as he opened his arms wide, leaning his head back and screaming once more. The orb glowed darker and darker, and before their eyes LeChuck began to rapidly grow in size. His form grew and grew and grew, until it was unbelievably large.*
*He composed himself for a moment, and when he gazed upon the SCA fleet his eyes were like two burning suns. He grinned, but there were no teeth. He slowly reached out and grabbed the largest ship in the remaining SCA fleet in one hand. He slowly lifted it back as he floated towards the Neptune fleet. He paused for a moment. Finally he slowly lifted the ship behind him and above his head, and with another massive roar he swung it like an axe, colliding into the Neptune flagship, crushing both ships and causing an explosion that took out all the surrounding small fighters. Several of the smaller ships tried to evade him, but found that he had actually kept his normal blinding speed. A voice rang out in every soldiers head.*
I just move slow like that fer dramatics.
*In a flash he had two more Neptune ships in each hand, and he brought them slamming into each other, crushing them both the pancakes. Like a carney working the 3-card monty, his hands swept across the fleet, grabbing and smashing ships, until the only things left were fighters. They tried shooting him, but everything they threw at him simply passed right through him, continuing on into space.*
*He turned to witness Zanzibar in corporeal form, already wreaking havoc on the SCA fleet. He noticed Lusankya was not firing or moving, noting that Zanzibar must've already had his way with he. He laughed and sped forward to try grabbing fighters with makeshift-chopsticks made out of pieces of Neptune's flagship.*
At 12/2/04 06:25 PM, -Abner- wrote: He established communications with LeCheck again.* I though you guys said you had these guys on the ropes, it looks like they out number you right now.
*LeChuck scoffed and replied*
"Outnumber us?! Lad, open yer eyes. Their losin'. They've got their ships in a cluster an we've got em surrounded on all sides. In case ye haven't noticed, accompanied by the Jovians, we have over 150 million fighters. I can practically count theirs on me left hand after removin 2 fingers, ye know? Jus' concentrate on Lusankya. After we take her out, the rest is cake."
*Luckily, Lust had taken upon itself to re-write the code after it had copied a sufficient amount, making it compatible with Tortuga's computers. After it had reached it's limit, it self-destructed, just a tiny explosion in a docking bay of Lusankya.*
*After a few adjustments, the computers having been restored to life, they got right back in the fight.*
*LeChuck had the Tortugan fleet power up all their EPRG's, lasers, MS's, the works, and to wait for his command. He relayed these orders to the Kradiks and all Jyeet ships. At least 30 large EPRG blasts and countless other weapons were loaded and awaiting the order to fire upon Lusankya.*
At 12/2/04 03:33 PM, Atomicus wrote: LeChuck, as soon the Tyranic explodes, I'm going to give you a chance to hit Farlander's ships, but you have to be ready.
*LeChuck replies as he watches his men swatting SCA fighters like flies from their gunner stations*
I was born ready, mate. You give the plan an' I'll be there to react
(On the other hand, I leave in 20 minutes and wont be home till about 6. So if this plan needs immediate attention, hold off.)
*LeChuck watches as the SCA fleet grouping shifts positions. He barks orders as the Tortugan fleet clears way just as the Tyranic moves by, just missing them. He watches as the fleet unloads on Tortuga. He wipes his brow as he is happy he made that call to increase the shields in strength 10 times. The mighty blast fails to penetrate Tortuga's shields. LeChuck contacts the Captain on Deck*
This is crap. Unleash all weapons and just shoot that damn fleet
*The walls of Tortuga facing the SCA fleet turns into millions of guns. Tortuga, easily 5 times the size of the cluster of SCA ships, fires in random succession continuous barrages of lasers and various other implements, short of EPRG. LeChuck watches as they fire relentlessly upon the fleet, the guns still protected behind Tortugan shields.*
*LeChuck contacts Zanzibar*
They've got some weird computer, luckily we have Lust on our side. We've already figured out what they have and figured out a way to penetrate.
*As the SCA fleet continues firing upon Tortuga with Tortuga firing back, the air shimmers behind them. Sto'Pos I, II and IV shimmer into view behind them. LeChuck grins as the large warships unleash their huge MS guns, recently equipped with the coding that was acquired by Lust to counter-act the SCA shields. 20 of the spikes come hurtling into the fleet, but they all strike the NPA from behind, taking out engines and most electronic equipment. The docking bays on the ships open to release 100,000 more Jyeet fighters, which go to engage the SCA fleet, also equipped with technology to combat anything NavCom might throw at them. LeChuck contacted Farlander.*
"Thanks fer givin' us some new software, Farlander. We really appreciate it. This stuff is mighty nifty."
*The software was passed on through the Jovian and Tortugan fleets, giving them all the same technology NavCom had lended the SCA fleet. The entire Tortugan fleet turned to face Farlander, and Kolip 12 was coming around from the side, already firing it's MS's, 6 more large coded spikes hurtling towards the SCA. The Kradiks came up next to Zanzibar's ship, with 40,000 fighters and 12 EPRG's. The barrage continued.*
*Back in Freeport, the 600 Jyeet's remained hidden. They slowly used their stealth abilities to gain access to the armory. After setting what is the human equivalent of a "Fat Boy" nuclear bomb, they made their exit quick and rough, however leaving 50 Jyeet's behind who would ensure the detonation of the bomb, sacrificing themselves in the name of honor. Of the 550 Jyeets making a run for an exit, only 300 made it out alive. Each Jyeet corpse detonated seconds after death, causing small explosions, but taking out curious soldiers that got too close.*
*LeChuck ordered the Captain on Deck to power down 2 reactor cores and leave it steady with 5 running. LeChuck grinned as he was secretly glad Farlander hadn't given up so easy. He liked a good fight from his prey.*
*LeChuck's jaw dropped*
One hundred thousand?! Sweet Jesus, Mortis! Well......fine, damn! Let me warn Tortuga to overpower shields, just in case.
*LeChuck contacts the Captain on Deck and has him deactive reactors 5-8 and activate reactors 9-14, for good measure, keeping 5 fully-charged reactors on stand-by. He moves the rest of the fleet back to the suggested distance.*
*LeChuck receives Mortis's message and relays it to Zanzibar*
Okay mate, we're movin'. I jus' hope this works. Zanzibar's cannon put half the Lusankya out of commission, including half their engines. If this doesn't work though, let me know as soon as possible so we can get right back on em.
*He orders Sloth to charge it's EPRG but to hold, as he charges his and holds. Wrath stays in between Devil's Plague and King's Ransom and has all it's weapons charged, prepared to punch a sizeable hole in Lusankya for boarding.*
*LeChuck received Zanzibar's transmission and groaned*
"Whadja do that for? I wanna kill em! Don't give em a choice!"
*LeChuck broadcast to Lusankya*
"Listen ye scurvy bilge-suckin mamas boys. Zanzibar is givin ye 10 minutes te get the hell out, or we unload a world a' hurt on yer asses. I'm very impatient. So shove off or prepare to meet the Devil."
*LeChuck contacted Syrus*
Board the Lusankya and pay our friends a little visit. Let's speed up the decision makin' process, eh?
*Syrus acknowledged and headed for the Lusankya. As he approached through space he suddenly shuddered. He was experiencing something he had not felt in hundreds of years: pain. He unleashed a scream that was unheard in the silent vacuum of space. When it had finally passed he immediately contacted LeChuck.*
Chuck! I.....I don't believe it! I just felt pain! PAIN, LeCHuck! Something is seriously wrong here. It's as if.....as if.....oh my god....
*The line went dead. LeChuck tried contacting Syrus over and over with no response. Syrus was silent on the other end.*
*LeChuck receives the transmission and is shaking with laughter. The sailor, having learned his lesson after the first 5 times, is quick to notice LeChuck's reaction and dive out of the way before LeCHuck gets to the radio. He replies.*
"Blistering barnacles, it took you boy's longer than a dead cripple ta get here! By all means, join the fight! I never turn down a ready an' willin' soldier!"
*LeChuck laughs as he counts down on his watch.*
Ill put 5 mill they're almost dead now
*The anti-matter core on the ship in the SCA huddle detonates. It sets off another, and another, and another, and another, until the only SCA fleetship remaining is Lusankya. LeChuck brings Devil's Plague alongside King's Ransom, firing it's EPRG at Lusankya as Sloth unleashes another barrage of 10 large EPRG blasts that slam into Lusankya's side. Kolip 12 turns and plants six spikes in Lusankya as well, as Wrath unloads EPRG, lasers, shells, plutonium, Gargoyles. Finally, Kolip unleashes its warriors once more. After slamming into the sides of Lusankya and unleashing another 200,000 Jyeets into the ship, LeChuck orders the rest of the Tortugan small craft fleet (which is only undead soldiers now, as the living ones are still resting. Thats only about 1,000 fighters) to prepare for boarding.
LeChuck smiled and missed the days where boarding was as simple as throwing a well-aimed grappling hook. Now you had all this science and whatnot to it.*
Mortis, that was mighty brave of yer men. Nice job there. Now we have less to worry about. I got some men to set the anti-matter core on one of the warships in the cluster to self-destruct, should be any second now before half that cluster becomes shrapnel. Keep your ships at a safe distance. The Jyeet's and us shall keep the rest of that fleet in position. We've got them penned in now.
*Yet another barrage of EPRG from Sloth and Devil's Plague exploded in the cluster, taking the front-end off the leading ship. Tortuga releases another barrage of Termites, this time unleashing all of them at once. The lot of them eat away the rest of the half a warship, eliminating it entirely. A small portion of Lusankya is now visible in between the cracks of the other 3 warships in front of it. LeChuck commands the Kradiks to concentrate all fire at that hole.*
*On the ship that Syrus and Ryder had left, the countdown reached 10 seconds...*
*Kolip 12 releases another barrage of six spikes into Ground Zero, and it watches as it speeds up. It reloads and moves alongside it at a distance, preparing for another blast. Suddenly those guns retracted and the giant cube rotated to once again the cannon which had expunged the original sphere. The Jyeet's aim the cannon at Ground Zero, and fire a large load of the silvery substance. It wobbles through space and latches onto Ground Zero like glue. It effectively covers half the ship, largely reducing the impact it may have on the Jovian warship, but still unable to cover and diffuse it completely. LeChuck is screaming at Mortis to move the ship before it and Ground Zero become soda cans.*
*Syrus and Ryder are loose within one of the large warships. Syrus has reaped soul after soul, leaving a trail of wrinkled corpses behind him. His powers have strenghtened, and together him and Ryder take over a heavily damaged warship in the midst of the cluster. They have been shot time and time again, but their destroyed bodies continually reform and go right back at it. They slaughter the crew on the bridge and seal the chamber off. They lock down the ship and jettison all the oxygen, killing off the rest of the crew. They set the anti-matter to self-destruct and leave the ship, floating out into space and zoom back to the nearest ship, Gluttony. They make their way inside and start manually gunning down fighters and sucking them in, crushing them to scrap as they become another part of Gluttony.*
*LeChuck spots Ground Zero moving into the Jovian fleet with the controlled sphere. He curses. He contacts the Jyeet's on Kolip 12*
Concentrate all your fire on Ground Zero, the ship with the controlled sphere. Power your MS's to 6 shots per round. Aim for the cannon from which that sphere originated. If we can take out that cannon they'll have a much harder time controlling it.
*Kolip 12 rotates to face Ground Zero as it continues towards the Jovian fleet. It powers up it's MS guns and fires six 50' spikes into the ship. The impact is so powerful it knocks the ship off course and sends it moving slightly backwards for a bit. They recharge as they prepare for another volley.*
*Meanwhile, Gluttony has completely repaired, and has now quadrupled in size, having assimilated Pride, Ticonderoga, and various fighters. It tests out it's newly acquired guns and begins firing at the ball of ships. Devil's Plague and Sloth fire continuous volleys of large EPRG blasts at Lusankya, and the Kradik fleet slowly looms into view. Their two large warships let loose two huge EPRG blasts at Lusankya, while the 2,000 fighters circle widely around Ground Zero to attempt to destroy it's engines.*
The enemy is crumbling before us! The Jovians have been kept out of our way by Captain Cromwell, and now is the time to press the advantage. We have sustained losses, true, but I dont expect one of you to let them be in vain! All ships form up around Lusankya, the battle is soon to be ours, and no matter how many interesting little surprises they throw at us, remember that the SCA holds everything that can truly make a difference in this system!
*The fleet surrounds Lusankya, creating a single body of ships. The fighter wings isolate and strike out at smaller groups of enemies. Now that it is outside the protective shields of Pride, three of the lead ships ensure what was once the Gluttony is unable to continue rebuilding itself with blasts from their anti-matter cannons*
*LeChuck can't believe his eyes.*
"How could he be so stupid?!"
*LeChuck contacts Zanzibar*
This can't be right. We just intercepted that transmission Farlander sent to the entire fleet. Apparently, they think they're winning. Let's show them they still haven't seen everything.
*Lust had remained on a medium sized battle ship as they all merged together, making it all the more easy to infect all the ships. As the SCA's computer's were invaded the information was sent to LeChuck. Suddenly he was presented with their stats: shield strength, formation plans, tactics, weapon strengths, and finally, controls. LeChuck hailed the entire remaining fleet, including Jyeet's and Kradiks*
All Tortugan allies concentrate fire on Lusankya's area.....now.
*It was as if the Gods were striking at Farlander. From far and away a wall of EPRG, plasma, lasers, and shells came from the Kradiks as they advanced to join the fray after annihilatiing the remaining Mars fleet. Kolip 12 rotated on a corner to unleash both it's lasers and MS shots of two 50' spikes. Sloth unleashed it's 10 large EPRG blasts. LeChuck watched these all approach as he commanded his technician to disable Lusankya's shields. Right before the massive strike hit, the technician activated Lust and the entire shielding of the SCA shut off. The explosion was massive. It would be a minute or two before the dust cleared to reveal exactly what was left after a near-supernova explosion.*
*LeChuck hailed Mortis*
Now Mortis! While their shields are down! Fire the MAW!
*The anti-matter cannon of the Ground Zero slides open, but instead of anti-matter, a large sphere moves outside, silently and almost invisible in the darkness of space. This one too starts rotating and several seperate components of the sphere itself begin to move. It isn't long before the first few ripples are seen in space. After a long second the hulls of many Jovian fighters start buckling and soon a lot of them are torn apart, destroyed by the disruptive forces of the sphere. The incoming fire is affected by the distortions as well and either dissipates or starts heading in a new, random direction away from the sphere. The sphere slowly moves closer to the Jovian fighters, expanding it's distortion waves and searching for the perfect location.
*Kolip 12 spots the disruptive sphere damaging to Jovian fleet. It fires once last time, taking out another battle dragon before withdrawing it's guns and rotating for another side to face the sphere. It does a quick scan of the sphere, and discovers it is almost akin to a rip in space, except whereas a rip would absorb any matter, and eventually become unstable and destroy much of anything surrounding it, this was the opposite. It caused matter to be flung away from it, in random directions. The Jyeet's quickly calculated a way to destroy the destructive sphere, loading another cannon with what appeared to be quiksilver-like substance. They released the silvery liquid into the cannon, and it neither flowed nor solidified. Just sort of moved occasionally. This was the technology the Jyeet's used to patches wormholes and blackholes. Except this time, they would not be patching it; they would simply be diverting it. Instead of firing at the ball, the cannon quickly absorbed the sphere into the cannon. Kolip buckled slightly, some of the edges of the ship bending, and the fron of the cannon inverted slightly, but it held long enough to absorb the sphere in the liquid. It was then blasted out into space, fired into hyperspace, never to be found again.*
*The Jyeet's then retracted this cannon for repairs, and they brought the MS's back out, and this time sent 3 into a battle dragon, effectively destroying it, and 3 slamming into Ground Zero.*
*Having noticed Ticonderoga was on a suicide mission, the Jyeet's jumped out into space and retreated back to Kolip 12. Pride noticed it would be destroyed, so in a last ditch effort it over-powered it's shields and fired them up to unbelievable strength, which would've most definitely overloaded and exploded, but for the moment Ticonderoga'a anti-matter core erupted, the shields were able to contain the blast. The surrounding fleet was unharmed.*
*Kolip 12 retracted it's shield breakers, and it appeared to be completely sealed. From the bottom poured 100,000 Jyeet fighters. They immediately engaged the remaining ragged 3 SCA wings, adding to the already massive Jovian fleet.*
*Kolip 12 turned it's 2 large Matter-Solidifiers on the Battle Dragons protecting Cromwell's ship. This produced what Gluttony produced, except on a much larger scale. Where Gluttony fired about 6' spikes, Kolip 12 fired 50' spikes. It promptly fired upon 2 Battle Dragons, placing 3 50' long metal spikes in each. They both exploded. The other fighters fired upon Kolip 12, but it's unique shell merely ricocheted each blast of lasers, EPRG, everything the Battle Dragons and Wings threw at it. It was almost a mirror, but stronger and more dense. *
*LeChuck spoke to Syrus with his crystal*
Where are you now?
Syrus: Ryder and I got off the Ticonderoga in time, but we lst some Jyeet's, about 10,000. We're piloting our ship into one of their battle ships. Where the fuck is Lust?
Relax, Lust is waiting. So is Wrath. We're not using them yet, not the right time. We've lost Greed and Pride. Luckily, Gluttony is there to suck it up.
*LeChuck gives the order for Sloth and Devil's Plague to fire upon Lusankya again. 11 more large EPRG blasts come rocketing into Lusankya, and it's shields become heavily weakened. LeChuck sips brandy as he smokes his cigar. He thinks of what he's going to rename his soon-to-be newly acquired colonies on Earth.*
At 12/1/04 10:14 AM, Atomicus wrote: *Mortis comms LeChuck and Zanzibar.*
M: "So that's the weapon technology similar to my cannon, I'm quite impressed... but I think it's time that I increased your odds."
*The Tyranic's engines start and the four massive EPRGs fire at the Lusankya, smashing into its shields. The Eternity II fires its two EPRGs into the other SCA flagship. The two-hundred million fighters move in to engage.*
*LeChuck whoops as he watches Lusankya get rocked by 4 EPRG blasts and the 200 million fighters engage in the battle. He quickly tells Sloth to fire upon Lusankya as well. Let's see that thing take 15 EPRG blasts in one minute. Sloth's 10 EPRG cannons are reloaded in time with the Devil's Plague. 11 large EPRG blasts are blasted at Lusankya. LeChuck still has the headset on for quick communication with the Jyeet's. He screams in his head.*
Release the Banshees!
*Suddenly a gigantic cube, the size of Eternity II, shimmers into view behind TIconderoga and Lusankya. It appears to be completely solid. No cracks or openings of any kind are visible. The Suddenly 10 large panels on the side facing the SCA fleet open up to reveal 10 large cannons, each barrel 100 yards wide. A small light is seen at the back of each one that slowly grows, until finally all 10 fire upon the Ticonderoga shields. What might be expected to be a massive explosion appears as a dud. The large blasts of what looks like plasma hit the shields, and they merely fizzle and crackle for a moment. They seem unaffected for a second. Then they begin being torn into. Cracks are forming in the shields as they spark and lash out with unbalanced electricity. Gaps are created in the shields, and from the bottom of the cube come 50,000 medium sized ships. They blast towards the Ticonderoga, and within seconds 10,000 are inside. The rest come pouring in when suddenly the holes fall apart. The gaps did not hold as long as they should've, and the Ticonderoga's shields reform. Only 30,000 of the 50,000 ships were able to get within the shields. Of those 30,000, 20,000 made it past the guns and turrets of the ship. The remaining 20,000 came crashing into the sides of the ship, causing large holes. Doors opened on the fronts of each ship, and 200 Jyeet's poured out of each one. Ticonderoga was quickly filled with 400,000 Jyeets. These were not the minions that had attacked Freeport, either. These were the Palace Elite, known for their incredible speed and agility. They infested the Engine Room and began slaughtering the mechanics. They took the soldiers out with ease with their unique Gjjy's (D-gee in spoken English).
These weapons appeared as a staff, about 3 feet in length. One end contains an SCB (Subdermal Corrosive Blaster), which immediately begins eating away at skin, metal, anything from the inside upon contact. It works particularly well on humans, having some of the most delicate skin in the universe. The other end is an MA (Matter Incinerator), which is used for combusting matter into flaming wreckage or flaming human beings. It is only useful in an oxygen-rich environment, such as Earth or among creatures that need to breath Oxygen (Jyeet's don't breath oxygen). Each Gjjy is coded to that particular warrior from birth. They begin training 2 Earth days after they come out of the shell. These Palace Elite have been training for 300 years, their Gjjy's practically Death's Scythe in their hands. If a Jyeet were ever to drop their Gjjy, it arms itself to self-destruct immediately. Anything else that attempts to use it is combusted, as the MA fires upon itself and the SCB destroys the weapon. A Jyeet has not dropped their Gjjy in 200 years; they die with it in their hands. And the final part of the Gjjy is it's cloaking ability, able to cloak Jyeets from motion-sensors, heat-detectors; any current form of sensing matter.
*The Jyeet's are not pretty by any means. Their entire lives are fighting and hunting, causing them to be in peak physical shape at all times. They have 4 arms, 20 on each side, and 2 legs. They have what appears to be rather large stomachs. But what seems to be a gut is pure muscle. They have no lungs or normal organs.*
*They turn their MA's upon the soldiers, causing them to spontaneously combust. Their SCB's eat away at the cores powering the shielding, and the rest of them head for the bridge.*
(Hey Immortals, listen. Since Taelyn has been MIA for over a week now, if you intend on joining the battle, you should do so very soon. Things are heating up fast, and it just might end before you can even throw a punch...)
*As the Flaming Phoenix dropped it's bombs, they were immediately taken out by the 500 guns guarding the tower alone. Since the whole point of Pride was it's unique shielding, it only made sense it was the most valuable part of the ship. The bombs failed to even get near the tower, exploding and dissipating into the vacuum of space, Pride remaining relatively unharmed. The shields flickered a moment, and as some fighters sacrificed themselves in front of anti-matter blasts, the shields were promptly fired back up to full-power and remained unharmed.*
*LeChuck gnashed his teeth as he quickly sped across space to Pride, passed through the ship to the shielding bay. He decapitated the lazy captain that had failed to reactivate another core for the shields after the second had begun overloading. He immediately promoted the nearest man. Now knowing the threat of Pride's shields failing again was nil, he zoomed back to Devil's Plague. He sat in his seat and spoke the the Jyeet's
My friends, what is the situation?
--The guarding is heavy. We have sustained fairly heavy losses. However, 600 of the Elite Guard remain undetected in the lower city. They are staying low. How they could've even shot us is unimaginable. A freak accident, surely. Kolip 12 is in position, the fighters are coming from the side, and we have Sto'pos I, II, and IV in position outside Neptune. Also, we have finally gotten the signature on that vessel that was spotted attempting a bombing run on Pride. Judging from it's faster movement and unfortunate use of payload, they are most likely out of bombs. It's like smelling blood in the water--
*LeChuck laughed as he loved the Jyeet sense of humor. It always had to do with hunting in a sense. Never about anything else.*
Yes, send half your fighters against that one ship. It's not too dangerous, not very large. I'd say 10,000 could take it out surely. And send the rest against Ticonderoga. She's got a hole in her hull that could use some expandin'. Oh, and annihilate the forces on Neptune. Take control of those anti-matter guns. The guard there is light, since most of the focus is on Earth and Tortuga. But don't move Kolip 12. We'll save her for later. However, have your men charge the boarding parties. Send the Palace Elite this time for your strike force. No more minions
--It shall be done--
*A moment later the air shimmers in front of Flaming Phoenix. Moments later they could have seen stars; now a vast, black wall that seems to expand forever is in front of them. A massive wave of Shield Striking missiles are in place, ingeniusly tailed right behind by what LeChuck liked to call "Cripplers". They ate only circuitry, leaving ships dead in the "water". 10,000 of these head directly for Flaming Phoenix, and unfortunately, they are signature seeking. Not heat. The Jyeet's learned that lesson hundreds of years ago. *
*On Neptune the base with the anti-matter cannons were suddenly overwhelmed by half a million Jyeets. The soldiers were losing badly. Unfortunately, they were able to get out an SOS to the fleet before their radio's were destroyed. Neptune was now cut off from communication from the rest of the SCA, and the situation there was undetermined.*
*Kolip 12 remained undetected, poised to strike. It's main weapon was for shielding. It didn't destroy shields; it merely created and expanded a hole. It sensed the field and got the charge of it. Then using the opposite charge, created a small fracture in it. It was then pried open with arms of both positively and negatively charged. The timing on this was slim, since it was immensely difficult to hold two opposing charges together. However, it was generally enough time to slip in a million soldiers or so. It armed all 10 guns and waited the command, The soldiers boarded their ships, these much larger then the rockets, carrying 200 to each one. Whichever ship felt the brunt of Kolip 12 would not be a ship much longer.*
(EDIT)
(Those tiny pieces did not, in fact, float back to King's Ransom, because it sucked in their bodies as well. Their souls are recalled however. Scratch those 100 fighters that joined the fray, they didn't. The souls are in limbo now, lacking a body.)
*Pride's shields deflect the blasts and missiles in time. Moments later Celerae and Fox find themselves staring down the barrels of 10 EPRG cannons. From the back of the formation, Sloth unleashes a devastating barrage, tearing apart both wings as the blasts make contact. Barely a half the ravaged wings remain.
Meanwhile, Greed, having found itself in quite a predicament, decides it cannot make it back. It is unharmed by the ERPG's, and absorbs them as it's self-destruct sequence activates. As the EPRG's continually fire, it does nothing more than increase the size and power of Greed's power. When the timer hits zero, all hell breaks loose.
A catastrophic explosion, made of pure anti-gravity is born. The result is a momentary black-hole, into which nothing, not even light itself, can escape. Atrox wing feebly attempts to escape the pull, but gravity wins over all. The entire Atrox wing is obliterated, and 3 SCA flagships are heavily damaged as well, having had half of their weapons ripped right off and into the vortex. When the gravity from the explosion is spent, the vortex seals right back up as if it was never there.
*LeChuck shakes his head as he commends the brave soldier that did such a selfess act. Once again, he places the translation device on his head and messages the Jyeets.*
We need you to come around the back. Take out two ships, Lusankya and Ticonderoga. But first, we need you to do us a small favor.....
*From out of nowhere in space come 20,000 small ships. They fire at blinding speed and come hurtling into Earth's atmosphere. The guns firing upon them are deflected. The lasers are richocheted. The rockets come crashing into Freeport. Out of each rocket pour 10 creatures. They are not extremely large, no taller than 6'. But they are pure muscle. They are fairly large for their size, but move with surprising quickness. The soldiers firing upon them can't help but miss as the creatures fly from walls the ceilings and across the floors. Chaos reigns as the Jyeet's infilrate the Government Headquarters, jumping to soldiers heads and slamming their two-long nailed fingers deep through their helmets and penetrating their skulls. They dispatch 5 men in seconds each. They slowly but surely make their way lower and lower, closer to the Emperor. The 200,000 creatures are hungry...
*LeChuck watches the bomb hit the Hartian, and regrets seeing it go....but he notices the acid that ate away at the Hartian spreading onto the Ticonderoga. He laughs.*
"Fools! It was partially attached to the Ticonderoga! How can you bomb a ship with such a quickly spreading acid when it's gonna get yer ship as well? Flamin' idiot..."
*He watches with glee as the walls of the Ticonderoga slowly begin melting away from the potent acid. Men begin floating out into space, slowly coming apart due to the lack of pressure. He surveys the scene. The entire Mars fleet was scattered and slowly being completely annihilated as Gluttony was cutting them up with it's Matter-Solidifiers and assimilating the carnage. It was growing in size as quickly as it had been destroyed.*
"Ye don't know what yer up against, boy...I did warn ye."
*LeChuck ordered the small privately owned fleet of Tortuga out into battle as well, with orders to take out the ragged remaining wings of Celerae and Fox wings. It was an easy job for pilots that did this practically every day for a living. LeChuck contacted Zanzibar.*
What a moron. We should just have Kolip 12 eliminate Lusankya, and get the Kradiks to take out Ticonderoga. After that, these measly flies'll be a cakewalk for Wrath and Sloth. I'm takin' a nap. Lemme know when they start hurting us.
*At the site where Greed had self-destructed, there was a faint movement in the space. Tiny bits of flesh were floating about in space. They immediately zoomed, undetected, back to King's Ransom. Once inside, the crew of 100 slowly remantled themselves. Zanzibar met them in the mess hall with a smile on his face.*
"Welcome back, Captain. That was quite a brave move back there. Besides destroying my ship, you took out quite a chunk of the enemy. It's a good thing they think you're dead. Report back to the docks and hop in any unoccopied fighters and get back out there, all of you."
*The 100 men saluted and headed out. From the back of King's Ransom the rear airlock opened. Out floated 100 men, each with small jetpacks to guide them back to Tortuga. Tiny holes were created in the back, and the men floated in and manned a ship. 100 new fighters flew out of Tortuga, and joined the massacre of Celerae and Fox wings.*
*LeChuck practically fell out of his chair laughing as he watches the huge Mars flagship fall apart and get eaten up by Gluttony. He contacts Zanzibar.*
Good show! Damn good, mate. I do love that cannon a' yers. Pity it takes that long to recharge. I'll bet ye 1 million doubloons I get more kills than you!
*LeChuck immediately screams attention and his crew turns to face his snarling face.*
"I just made a bet with Zanzibar, an' I'll be damned if Im gonna lost to that bastard! You scum better work fer all yer worth, even though that aint much. Fire at will!"
*The massive EPRG on Devil's Plaguefires up. The whole ship hums for a moment, and then is rocked backwards slightly as it fires. The largest EPRG blast fired so far in this battle is sent hurtling towards the remainder of the mars fleet. It was purposefully aimed at one fighter that was conveniently placed in the middle of a large clump of Mars fighters. Since their flagship had just been destroyed, they were still in chaos. The blast hit the middle ship and went off. It took out the surrounding ships in the clump, about 20 more fighters. LeChuck laughed as he turned to the Captain.*
"Tell the Sins to form and operate on Protocol Alpha!"
(explanation of Sins coming soon)
*The Captain on Deck "hmph"'s at this new development. He leans back as he didn't want to have to do this, but better safe than sorry.*
"Set the Pluggers to auto-fire, focus on all small holes with largest ERPG focus."
*The sailor complies, and moments later small panels on the outer walls of Tortuga open up and cannons extend. These fire hyper-powered concentrated energy blasts, like caulking for a bath tub, it seals holes in shields. There are more than enough guns to plug the holes, leaving about 50 guns to each hole. The ERPG blasts once again fail to penetrate the shields.*
*The Captain stares at the fleet, a mild smirk on his face.*
"Strike two"
*The Captain on Deck of Tortuga smiles as he sees the shields ripple for a moment and a small hole created where the massive EMP strike hit. He slowly turns to the sailor operating the shields.*
"Sailor, deactivate Reactors 1-4 in sequence as you activate Reactors 5-8. One overlapping the other. And set the absorption rate to 20%. Do it................now."
*As the ERPG blasts come rocketing towards the apparent holes in the shields, the shields quickly ripple again, and immediately reappear at full-strength. The ERPG blasts dissipate into the Tortugan shields, the shields fluctuating for a moment, but staying steadily at 93% strength. The Captain smiles.*
"Better luck next time, Jack"

*LeChuck laughs*
"Oh, I'm sure you can't, mate. That thing is quite a beauty. We've got something similar, but it doesn't crush em so small. Still a piece a work, though. We're not attackin' jus' yet. Farlander is content to fire on our shields, which is fine by me. His EPRG's are the only things that can realistically damage our shields, but he's stopped firing them."
*LeChuck contacted Zanzibar*
The Jyeets are on their way. Their bringing Kolip 12, too. I can't wait for Farlander to spot that monstrousity.
