He crosses his hands across his stomach and begins speaking without introduction.*

*Syrus walked back to his chambers and equipped himself for the journey to find that other artifact. He had forsaken his bandanas that had covered his fleshless skull (and body) and had resolved for a more intimidating approach. His exoskeleton had been crafted of a newer metal, one with properties unknown by anyone, not after Syrus had killed the creator. It was a metal that was flexible. Permanent liquid, but with the ability to solidify into the hardest metal known. It allowed him to avoid acids, lasers, even magnetism. It could only be a suit due to it's fluid-like properties. He donned the suit and helmet, still opting to leave his vision clear and uncovered. His eyes were still a piercing blue, but were known to become bright red and, sometimes, black. He exited his chamber with no weapons. His suit was his weapon, as he could remove tiny quantities of it and transform them into his throwing knives. He also recalled them, so he never lost any ammunition. He left his chamber, boarded his ship, and took off for the planet.*

*LeChuck waited patiently as the transports docked. Jean's only contained him, whereas the several other hundred or so contained about 600 of Jean's people. LeChuck's eyebrows went up.*
"Whoever said a couple hundred was a daft prick." He muttered. he commed the concierge. "Have extra accomodations made. We have 600. Make it quick, I'm sure they'll want food and water immediately, and the old will wanna sleep, probably. And bring some of Jean's wine to his chamber. Oh....."
*He ended that communication and began another as the refugees began leaving the transports, looking confused, but being gently coaxed to their rooms. LeChuck contacted the Captain that was the head of the retrieval party.*
"Captain, did you retrieve Jean's belonging's like we ordered you to?"
Capt: Sir, we did. However, there were some chambers that we were unable to gain access to, with passwords and intricate encryption devices. But we got many things, chests and weapons. We were lucky enough to be able to eventually crack into one of the largest chambers, and there were many computers and files, along with other locked cases that we dragged out. We got out as many and as much as we could, which was luckily about 75% of it. But whatever was in those other chambers....I'm sorry, sir.
*LeChuck nodded in satisfaction* "That is quite alright, Captain. The fact that you were able to crack that one chamber, I am very impressed. You'll receive a raise for this Captain. And free whores for the month, from the palace stock."
*LeChuck heard the man laugh.*
Capt: Well, I appreciate that, Sir. But I...um....I have a wife, sir.
"Oh....oh, nevermind then. Well, the offers still on the table, naturally." *LeChuck was grinning. The Captain could tell.*
Capt: Many thanks, sir. I'll see the men get Jean's belonging's to his chambers.
"Good man, Captain. Out."
*LeChuck walked up to Jean as he slowly walked off the transport. He was visibly shaken, and seemed drained. LeChuck offered the man his cane with a smile.*
"Need some help, old man?"

"Tha's impossible." LeChuck interrupted. "He didn't hurt your friend. You didn't know Jean. He helped us way back when, you know. The SCA. Plus, his wine was exquisite! And now, we don't even know if he's alive! Last we saw of him was he sent Liberte self-destructing into the Apocalypse cruiser, with himself inside it. I'm sure he's alive, and we've told our captains to hold off and maintain a defensive barrier around the planet. Plus..."
*He glance at Zanzibar before continuing. Zanzibar knew this meant LeChuck had done something without consulting with him, and he immediately grimaced. LeChuck continued.*
"In light of Jean being severely hurt, I had sent those transports without him asking. I didn't care, I knew he'd want his people saved. I was only able to save a couple hundred. We.....we couldn't find Josephine in time. We also sent out 500 fighters to guard one transport that picked up Jean not long ago, floating out in space. We'll be bringing him and his people here soon."
*He looked at Zanzibar again. He was not angry, but was slightly smiling. LeChuck had not only shown immediate initiative, but compassionate initiative. LeChuck waved a finger.*
"This ain't becomin' a habit, mate. Jean an' what remains of his people will be here soon. We'll have to hold off the procedure."
*At this Zanzibar seemed upset, but quickly changed expressions. He straightened his jacket as he sighed.*
"Well, we should be getting on to the docking bay to greet our new guests then."
*Zanzibar quickly commed the concierge.*
"Trey, have our best suite made up for a dear friend of ours. Also, prepare accomodations for some several hundred odd unexpected guests. Give them anything they desire. They just lost their home."
*Zanzibar motioned to the door that all three might leave to greet the new arrivals. Syrus nodded. LeChuck grunted. The three proceeded out the doorway towards the main docking bay, where the transports had just come into sight and would be docking momentarily.*

(Sorry I said I rescued you, Jean, but I figured you destroyed Liberte, you went into a coma in space, the OWCA left, your planet is completely fucked. Im just wondering what happened to Raze and Josephine. If you have any objections, just post whatever you want to and Ill reneg all that about saving you and your people. Also, Raze, if you're looking for a way out without being eaten by that toxic shit or whatever, you could make a way out or have made it onto a transport without us knowing who you were or something. Only if you want. And Jean, whatever Josephine does is up to you, naturally. Just giving you the opening considering what happened)

(Sorry, was on vacation from work. New Years was insane. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all)

*LeChuck tightens his fist around his metal cup, effectively squishing it into a short, metal chopstick. He grinds his teeth together as a low growl escapes from his throat. The messenger nervously looks around and quietly mutters his leaving, and backs out of the room, keeping his eyes on LeChuck. When he reaches the door he spins and runs. No one wants to be around LeChuck when he looks like this. LeChuck's eye finally starts twitching.*
"MOTHER FUCKER!"
*He throws the makeshift-chopstick, sending it flying through 5 walls and finally imbedding itself in a refridgerator several building away. Back in his chamber he stands and screams again.*
"That was my favorite vineyard you fried, ye cretin!"
*LeChuck growls again as he zooms out of his room and into Zanzibar's. The man is practicing his swordsmanship with 15 cyborgs, deftly deflecting and parrying their attacks, with lasers and "swords", with his newer models of his 12 swords. At the sound of LeChuck's entrance (which he had eventually gotten used to after almost 1000 years), and with his back still to him, he calls a halt to the exercise. The cyborgs immediately shut down, and the 12 swords return to their mysterious hiding places withing Zanzibar's jacket as he turns to face LeChuck, already mid-cigar lighting as he speaks.*
"What ails you, mate?"
*LeChuck is in his face with a small holographic projector. He firmly prods the "on" button as an image of the red mist hitting Jean's planet and destroying it graces Zanzibar's eyes. He slowly frowns.*
"So.....Arcturus wasn't kidding."
"No he bloody wasn't!" LeChuck yells. He turns and is about to throw the projector another thousand yards through walls when Zanzibar quickly takes it from his hand. LeChuck pantomimes the throw anyway. He turns to face Zanzibar again with arms out.*
"So what now?! I fuckin' hate that Corporation prick! I've watched him murder innocents left and right for hundreds of years now! He's almost as bad as I was back in the day, an' you know tha's damn bad!"
*He ends the sentence with an accusatory finger pointed in Zanzibar's direction. He shrugs slowly as he puffs on his cigar.*
"Aye, you were quite the scourge of the seas. But I'm confused. You've compared his grisly tactics to yourself, which I am finding to be quite an accurate comparison, as well. However, I've never seen you so riled up about someone mimicking your style before. What makes it s--"
*LeChuck is in his face once more, Zanzibar a little taken aback by how fast he seems to be countering his points.*
"I never....ever.....set out to kill and destroy innocents to expand an empire. I may have roamed the seas and preyed on merchants and sailors and.....sometimes women and children. But I never attacked innocent isl--well.....okay, I never did nothing like he did. I may have killed some people to get what I wanted, but killing was never my main objective. Not only did he destroy ALL life on OUR FRIENDS planet, but he's made it like Iokur! COMPLETELY UNINHABITABLE! It's fucking toxic! Entirely! And the WORST part about all this is!---"
"He used part of the artifacts with which to create that toxin."
*LeChuck spun at the voice behind him. He found Syrus leaning against the doorway, smoking a cigarette.*
"Where the bloody hell have you been?!"
*Syrus slowly approached the two.* "Nevermind that. About what you were just saying. Yes. Arcturus has just proved himself to be the fool of all fools. Not only did he use the tainted 'artifacts' to create a weapon, he fired it upon a planet. This will not only cause more strife for us in the long run......but he has just essentially given the Dark Avatars a beacon to this world. It's like laying out a welcome mat."
"Christ..." *LeChuck buried his face in his hands and sat on a nearby chair. Zanzibar hmm'd as he smoked his cigar. Syrus calmly stood silent a moment before continuing.*
"Now, to answer your first rude question, I was actually trying to arrange a meeting with Arcturus himself in an attempt to dissuade him from using the artifacts in any way, shape, or form. I gave him fair warning, which he of course ignored completely. He even had the audacity to jump to Jean's system in front of me, and then have a lackey inform me he was away on 'business'. Needless to say, I hate him as much as you do, LeChuck."

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

*LeChuck's transport pulls into Tortuga. Zanzibar is waiting for them. LeChuck had changed out of his state clothes for his normal swashbuckling attire. He stepped off the transport with Zeus, the latter having to duck to get out of the exit. LeChuck stopped in front of Zanzibar with a grin.*
"Zanz, meet Zeus."

"Zeus, here I come!"
*He went shooting out of the room and was across the massive city in seconds. He stopped at one of the many training grounds and looked at his watch. 3:27 PM. Training for Zeus' Elite Squadron would commence in about 3 minutes. LeChuck sat in the dirt and leaned against the wall as he lit a cigar and waited. After a brief wait, a door on another wall opened and about 5,000 men poured out into the expansive courtyard. LeChuck got up and slowly walked towards the Instructor. They were sparring today as usual, and LeChuck watched them commence as he got closer and closer to the Instructor. As the Instructor was shouting orders, he happened to turned around and spot LeChuck coming. His eyes went wide, and he spun around to face the men and order them to bow down before the King.*
*The sound of 5,000 kneeling at once was always music to LeChuck's ears. He smiled as he approached the Instructor and spoke into his ear. The Instructor nodded and stood back up.*
Instructor: Zeus! Rise!
*From the middle of the large group there was movement. At first, it appeared as if 3 men were standing at once from the size of the thing moving, but slowly it became apparent this was not 3 different men. It was just one.*
*Zeus stood at 8'7", 550 lbs. A giant of a man, he was completely bald and lacked any facial hair. He had had a medical procedure that prevented him from ever growing any hair on his face, except for eyebrows and eyelashes. He was pure muscle, rock-hard, and easily in the top-ten of human mortal fighters in the universe. The Instructor motioned for him to come forward. He did so, taking strides and stepping over a man at a time, sometimes two if he stretched. LeChuck, standing at 5'9", was dwarfed by this man. He smiled as he puffed on his cigar. Zeus stood in front of the two, not bowing, not moving. Simply staring straight ahead at nothing. The perfect soldier.*
Instructor: Zeus, you have been requested to join our King LeChuck on a mission of great universal importance. May you serve him loyally and faithfully, and make Wolf Unit 3295 proud.
*Zeus bellowed with his deep voice, LeChuck could practically feel the ground shake beneath his feet.*
"Yes sir!"
*LeChuck laughed as he shook hands with Zeus. LeChuck's hand was like a babies in Zeus's. He spoke to him as they walked towards the door to leave. The Instructor shouted to the rest of the men to get up and resume their training.*
"Afternoon, Zeus. We've got an important task for ye. I can't say much about it now, but I can tell ye you'll be servin' the kingdom in the best way ye ever could."
*Zeus slowly turned his head to lock eyes with LeChuck. There was always menace in his eyes, although none held towards LeChuck. He spoke with no facial expression, except his constant low brow and mild look of disdain and disgust.*
"Sir, yes sir" He said more quietly, sounding very akin to Barry White.
*LeChuck lead Zeus to a transport that would take them immediately out to Tortuga to begin the procedure. Zanzibar waited impatiently as LeChuck slowly approached.*

The shops, the restaurants, the theaters....he always almost gets chills when he thinks of how much he has accomplished. He hears his name being shouted from behind him. He turns around to see Ryder come barreling at him. He stops just short of LeChuck and immediately starts talking.*
Ryder: Sir, the Gold Eye pirates have attacked a corporate transport.
*LeChuck snorted.*
"So? Serves the buggers right, both the corporation and those bloody mutineers. Why the hell should I care?"
Ryder: Because, sir, the transport under fire has requested asylum in Jeans system.
*LeChuck paused.*
"Requested asylum? As in they're defectin' an asking' Jean for help? Or they're under attack and want help?"
*Ryder was about to answer when he too, paused. His face turned from one of total recognition to confusion.*
Ryder: Well.......they were under attack, sir. They wanted help. Why......why would--Oh shit.
*LeChuck smiled as Ryder slowly realized the reality. He patted the man on the shoulder*
"There ye go, lad. Try to think before you talk next time."
*With that, LeChuck was a blur to his apartment. He was there in no time, already in the room and connecting to the secure line.*
"Jean, this is LeChuck. We've got word of a transport attempting to enter your system under the guise of being under attack. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT let it into your defenses. It is a corporate vessel, and considering the impending attack, is most likely a decoy or a trap of some sort. Destroy it immediately. Take no prisoners."
*Hoping Jean would receive the message, and that he wasn't already taking a saving action towards the transport, LeChuck sat back and stared at the ceiling, thinking.*

Mate, we need ye here pronto. Zanzibar's chambers. Step on it
*Within seconds Syrus appeared behind LeChuck. LeChuck sensed him before he could scare him.*
"Cut tha crap, ye bilge rat. We got some important matters te discuss."
*Syrus walked around from behind LeChuck's chair and was mid-witty remark when he noticed the black and red burn marks from the girls body and the dagger, on the floor and chair. He stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes wide.*
"Mates, I've seen something similar to this on my return. It was nearby a remote system, inside an asteroid belt. I clearly sensed remains of a ship, and.....well......"
*He sat down, appearing worried. LeChuck and Zanzibar were most unsettled. It took a lot to worry a man that had been making regular trips to and from Hell for hundreds of years. Syrus stared at the markings on the ground for a minute before continuing.*
"I....I didn't think it would be important really. Or that it would even happen anytime soon. But......Satan had told us something about twelve angels, but not normal angels. He said they were the original angels, from which all other angels had been created. He...he said there used to be 24, but they split. So there were now good and evil angels."
*Syrus paused as he got up and moved down to the floor to inspect the burn marks. He reached out and put his hand over them. His eyes grew wider and he shuddered slightly. He quickly resumed his seat and story.*
"But it shouldn'tve happened yet, not for at least another thousand years. Someone must've done something, uncovered something. There were remnants of ruins aboard that ship, but....it was....it was as if they were fake, like bootlegs. Created by someone else to fool or.....or even to......"
*Syrus went rigid suddenly.*
"Oh no.....it must be the corporations.....They.....they must be digging where they shouldn't be. And they don't even know about the Fomorians....."
*LeChuck and Zanzibar exchanged a glance. LeChuck shrugged and seemed untroubled. Zanzibar, however, leaned in closer to Syrus.*
"Syrus, Fomorians? The ancient creatures that walked the earth back when the Fae were around? Are you saying the two are somehow connected?"
*Syrus practically stuttered*
"I....I don't know...it's too early to tell. Thi-this shouldn't be happening....not yet at least."
*He quickly got to his feet and made to leave. LeChuck quickly grabbed his arm, effectively stopping him from teleporting or moving anywhere without him.*
"Wait, where are you goin'?"
*Syrus turned on a dime, staring right into LeChuck's eyes, that look of madness within them.*
"I need to find out where those ruins....er, fake ruins went. Nobody should have those...nobody. They are not meant for anyone to uncover or meddle with."
*He grabbed LeChuck forcefully, squeezing him. LeChuck felt Syrus's crushing grip on his shoulders.*
"LeChuck, if they dig deep enough, they might uncover the rest of the keys. They must not be allowed to recover all seven. That would certainly brinb about the destruction of the universe."
"Keys?! What keys?! There are seven of them?"
*Syrus disappeared before LeChuck could get an answer. He growled and turned to face Zanzibar.*
"Come on! We've gotta talk to the Ancients, see if they know anything. And god dammit, we have to find out where the hell Syrus went!"

But he found particles of a destroyed ship, and there was an incredibly strong residue on the surrounding asteroids, enough that he could realize dark forces were at work. This girl may have somethin' to--
*Before he could finish, they were suddenly interrupted by a low wailing coming from the girl. Her soul began glowing a deep red-black. Zanzibar got up to attempt to re-enter her, bring her back from what she may be experiencing, but LeChuck was already behind him, holding him back.*
"No mate! Don' touch her! Move back!"
*The two moved a safe distance, and they watched as the girls soul lit up more and more. Suddenly the wail broke into a piercing scream. The pirates cringed, and seconds later the girls being exploded. Light went everywhere. A moment later it was as if nothing had happened. Nothing remained of the girl. LeChuck looked around with wide eyes.*
"Now that.......was no human assassin."
*LeChuck walked around where the girl had lain, just for good measure. He whistled as Zanzibar mentally scanned the area for traces of her or whatever had caused her unexpected destruction. LeChuck sat back down and reached for the dagger she had thrown at him, possibly to inspect it and gain some insight. He reached without looking and felt nothing. He frowned and looked to where the dagger should've been. In it's place was nothing, simply a red-black burn mark in the shape of the dagger remained on the chair. LeChuck slowly turned to Zanzibar.*
"I think we need to talk with Syrus."

*LeChuck sighed. 40 glasses of wine of varying years and no result. He nodded.*
"Yea, might as well. These folks are damn near done anyway."
*The two got up to leave as the dancers continued their gyrating and flirting with the guests. Most of the crowd failed to notice as the pirates walked along the wall on the side towards a side door to exit, rather than cause a fuss and open the grand doors. As they had almost reached the door LeChuck suddenly stopped. He turned around with a look of shock.*
"I almost forgot! Me cane!"
*LeChuck rushed past Zanzibar back to the table. He paused at his chair, not seeing his cane where he had originally placed it. He frowned, but after a quick surveying found it perched on the other end of the table, on the other side. He sighed with relief, and walked around the table to get it. As he approached it and reached out to pick it up, his ears pricked up. In a blink he was spun around, now grasping a dagger by it's tip that had intended to penetrate his skull. His eyes found the assassin: one of the dancers. As she realized her attempt had been foiled, she quickly vaulted from the ground onto a table, onto a candlabra on the wall, and attempted a dive for a chandelier. Unfortunately, her dagger found it's way to her heart before she could reach it. Her body spasmed and began it's lifeless descent upon the crowd. There were gasps and screams as her corpse plummeted towards a table that seated the 3rd richest merchant in the universe. LeChuck was not about to have a dead body fall upon on of their guests, and was quickly on top of the table with the dead girl in his arms. He smiled and tipped his hat to the merchant.*
"My apologies, Marcus. It would seem this girl made some....hasty decisions."
*A laugh arose from the crowd, and the merchant nodded in thanks. LeChuck gave a last quick smile and nod around the room, assuring everyone things were still running smoothly. He was back by Zanzibar in a flash, still holding the dead girl.*
"C'mon. She's freshly dead an' still ripe for interrogation. Let's her back to your chambers."
*The two set off at a speed to Zanzibar's chambers*

Zanzibar's eyes shot to him, and watched as LeChuck sat frozen, staring off into space. His face slowly spread into a grin. After a moment he laughed to himself. He turned to Zanzibar.*
"It would seem Syrus has found yet another artifact. Remember that ol' sexton ye used to use?"

*Off on a distant planet in the uncharted universe, Syrus lurks in a cave deep within the core of an alien planet. He is seeking an artifact, a sexton, that is supposedly heavily guarded beneath this planet by the alien race that discovered it. It had been originally dug up from Earth by mutants, but it was soon transported continuosly across the universe, and finally it had landed here.*
*Syrus melted into the shadows as he heard a guard coming around a corner. This particular alien race was short and squat, but with large, sharp teeth and beady eyes. They had six legs and two long arms, like a spiders. They had a tail that was completely flat, able to slice through things like a hot knife through butter. They most certainly carnivores.*
*Syrus waited until the creature had passed until he continued. He was not reaping souls here. He wasn't sure if Satan would appreciate some of these horrific things walking around. Demons were enough to handle at times.*
*He came upon a large room, and he found himself above it, looking over it all. It was filled with these things, at least 200 of them. Syrus frowned and shrugged. He leapt from the balcony into the mass. One looked up, and in a second the hall was filled with shrill cries from the creatures as their tails lashed out and they fired their weapons.*
*An hour later the room was covered in yellow blood and limbs were strewn about. Syrus looked down to find himself covered in the stuff. He groaned, not because he could smell the horrid stench that emanated from the corpses, but just because he could imagine it. He shuddered and wiped his hands on the one clean part of his clothes, as he approached their leader, who he had conveniently paralzyed with a pinpoint-exact throwing knife. The creature hissed repeatedly, it's mouth obviously still working, and for a moment it gargled. Syrus stood triumphantly in front of the king, hands on his hips.*
"Now, are you going to be a good boy and ju--"
*A wad of corrosive liquid came shooting from the creatures mouth, impacting with Syrus's face. The king shrieked, the human equivalent of a laugh, as he watched Syrus stumble backwards off the throne and fall down the stairs. He fell on his back and was still a moment. The king began contemplating how the hell he was going to get up when suddenly Syrus moved. If the king could've widened his eyes, they would've been huge. Syrus slowly got to his feet, revealing a completely faceless skull. No eyeballs, no nose, no nothing. The king shrieked in fear as the skeleton approached him slowly. Syrus leaned in close to the king, and the king spit another wad of the acidic liquid in his face. It hit Syrus's skull and slowly dripped off, leaving no marks. Miraculously, Syrus spoke with no tongue.*
"Now listen here, you twit. I could kill you with no effort, obviously. However, you have something I desire. I doubt you have any idea what it is, but a colleague of mine desires it and has far more use for it than you do, surely."
*The king made to spit acid again, but suddenly it was caught in it's throat. It attempted a shriek, but a low gurgling was all that came out. Syrus was silent as he continued to stare at the king. As the king felt the pouch in his throat somehow begin to corrode, he shook with fear. Syrus spoke.*
"You're being most uncooperative. I wish we might've conducted our business more civily. As it stands, you should be dying within the minute."
*The king was finally able to shriek again as the pouch fell apart, unleashing the acid upon it's organs. It's insides began melting as it shrieked in pain. Syrus smirked (imagine) and rose to walk away. He continued down a corridor that was hidden behind the throne, most likely leading him to the artifact. The king could be heard shrieking as he walked, and after some moments it finally ceased. Syrus walked on into the pitch blackness, whistling.*

*LeChuck is standing in front of the palace as Zanzibar's carriage pulls up, having made the most grand entrance of all. LeChuck was satisfied with speeding over there in a matter of seconds. He stood in front of the main steps, smoking a cigar and wearing a bowler hat. He was dressed in a three-piece suit, and the vest showed slightly from beneath. He had both his hands on a solid platinum cane, it was etched with runes of the Ancients and spells of old. Although it was mostly ceremonial, it held devastating power. LeChuck had never used it in battle before, content to let it stand as it was; a magnificent piece of artwork. His bowler had cocked to the side, his stance open and feet shoulder-wide, he stood with the cigar in between his teeth with his mouth cracked into a smile, the fading sunset in front of him casting a veiled orange light upon him, making him seem almost unreal. Zanzibar dismounted with the grace of a feather, Cognito following after, guided by Zanzibar's hand. LeChuck had never understood why Zanzibar had become so close with this bizarre machine, but Zanzibar was prone to odd things. LeChuck had stopped questioning them after the first 200 years.*
*Zanzibar approached him and he nodded slightly in acknowledgement. LeChuck gave a hearty laugh and nodded back. He raised his hand to remove the cigar from his mouth as he inspected his mirror-shining shoes.*
"Yer late"
*Zanzibar glared at him. LeChuck simply shrugged and walked beside him as the unusual trio climbed the stairs to the grand doors. The palace doors were opened slowly to reveal a dazzling grand hall, with ceilings 300 feet high, giant chandeliers holding 1,000 candles, and pieces of art ranging from 2 months to 2,000 years old. It was truly a sight to behold. The 800 odd guests turned at the mention of the two men, and the hall was a quick din of movement as all fell to one knee to pay hommage to their kings. LeChuck and Zanzibar proceeded through the mass of bowed heads and lowered bodies, walking the full 300 yards to the other end of the chamber. The width was another 400 yards, so the 800 guests barely filled it. It held space for 1,500.*
*The two took their throne seats, and Cognito took her slightly smaller and lowered chair next to Zanzibar. LeChuck turned to Zanzibar and gave him a look. Zanzibar rolled his eyes and slowly rose. He gazed over the crowd a moment before raising his arms and spreading them wide across his chest. By now all the guests had risen, they had done so after the pair had been seated.*
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our Annual State Dinner, an event known across the universe for it's glamour and prestige! We have with us some of the finest men that have ever existed, from merchants to warriors, scholars--"
*He paused and raised one eyebrow as he looked over many faces in the crowd, a slight smile on his face.*
"--and thieves. We come here tonight to honor what has kept our galaxy in peace and balance since it's existence. Our continued friendship and allegiance amongst each other, and our ongoing bountiful trade and business. We are proud to announce, that recently, merchants on Fornak made contact with a new alien race, and have made a peace pact. They returned to us bearing some of the finest silks I have ever seen, among other things. My esteemed comrade, LeChuck, happens to be wearing a suit made of said silk...."
*Zanzibar turned with a hand towards LeChuck. LeChuck grinned and adjusted his coat as he stood and walked to the edge of the stairs in front of their thrones. He spread his arms and slowly turned in a circle, modeling the suit. The silk was incredible, shining like sun on the water, moving like clouds in the sky. It felt like air yet shined like diamonds. After a full rotation, LeChuck returned to his seat. His old habits of consistently staining his clothing had faded over time. Zanzibar turned back to the crowd to resume his speech*
"In all, it has been a most profitable year. We have also remained untouched by the OWCA-EWCA conflict, and shall remain untouched. The OWCA is not so foolish as to challenge us..."
*A laugh arose from the crowd, none nervous, all just matter-of-factly. Zanzibar and LeChuck shared in this laugh. It died down as Zanzibar finished his speech.*
"And now let there be no differences between us, no matter how small. We are all friends tonight, under one roof, sharing one dream: to continue our prosperous lives. Drink and be merry!"
*A great cheer erupted from the crowd. Hats were thrown into the air along with fists and clapping hands. Zanzibar gave a final wave and went back to his seat as the servants began bringing out their table laden with food. The other guests had their own tables throughout the hall, all laden with foods from across the universe, and wines from Jean's vineyards. LeChuck turned and leaned towards Zanzibar, lowering his voice.*
"Ye know, ye failed to mention that we sent reinforcements to help Jean out."
*Zanzibar turned sharply to LeChuck, his voice a low hiss.*
"Fool! You think I do not know this? Of course I do. If I were to tell them that, they might believe that the OWCA would find an interest in us. These people haven't seen war in 300 years, and I doubt they are as eager as you to get into one. They shall remain ignorant of the dire facts until it concerns. And as of now, they are most certainly not concerned." *Zanzibar turned quickly back to his food, a smile flashing onto his face as the first of many guests approached the table to present the two with thanks and gifts. LeChuck sighed and turned back to his food. While he did enjoy getting dressed up and showing off his clothes (a new trait of his, sometimes he disliked how similar he was becoming to Zanzibar), he never enjoyed lying to his subjects. However, Zanzibar understood matters of state far more intricately than LeChuck ever had. He let him handle to most delicate situations.*
*The two began greeting the ever-flowing stream of thanks and gifts, barely touching their food, as the party dragged on long into the night.*

*After reviewing several top-secret documents in The Room, LeChuck decided he would inform Jean as to what exactly he had on his hands. He handled the radio more carefully this time and spoke.*
"Okay Jean, here's the situation. We've sent ye 5 large warships, along with half a million fighters. We figured that's enough for ye. Now, the 500,000 are state-of-the-art, high class fighters, some of the best you will ever see. We know ye have some fancy tricks, but we've got some of our own. But first lemme tell ye about the ships. They are equipped with something we only recently developed, and 3 of those ships are the first to be equipped with it. What with all the shield-breakin' technology that's about these days, we had to figure out a way to stop em'. It's a chameleon, of sorts. It's ever-changing, never the same thing twice, but able to copy anything of any radio frequency. We've been studyin' those IACS torpedoes, an' although we can't copy em yet, we figured it t'would be better te stop em. These shields are designed specifically to copy the frequency and create it's anti-thesis. That is to say, create the same frequency or matter or whatever that can counter it. So you can block the IACS torpedoes, thank god. Those would be quite a bitch. Only 3 have it though, so watch the other two. They have several strategies that involve scrambling and decoys, but they've yet to be tested. I'll inform my Captains to report to you."
*LeChuck puffed on his cigar for a moment.*
"Now the fighters. All of them are piloted by elite soldiers who all used to be smugglers at some point, so they know how to fly. They've been battlin' the OWCA and EWCA for years, so they know their strategies and tactics, as well as formations. You won't really need to order these men about, they should be able to handle themselves. Of course, do as ye see fit."
*LeChuck was getting dressed into formal clothes for a state dinner as he was finishing the communication. He was struggling to get on his left boot, hopping about as he said his final words.*
"So.....ungh......you can...just......sonuva.......you'll be fine, I'm...sure......MOTHER LOVIN'"
*And the communication cut off*

At 12/14/04 03:03 PM, stafffighter wrote:

About Jean, if he requests it, I would say send him the 32nd and 49th divisions. Between those two he should be able to safeguard his home. The man has too much pride though, I doubt you would request our assistance in a fight. If you need me, Im here."
My request to you is this, assistance in the battle to come. My people will not bow to oppesors. While I do not believe you to be one without ideals ideals are not all I offer you for said assistance. Consider the profits of both exclusive salvage rights to the remains of corporate technology as well as enhanced appeal of of goods and services between our peoples. Thank you for hearing me and I look forward to your considered responce.

*LeChuck paused from his game of chess as he heard Jean's message relayed to him. A grin slowly spread across his face, and he leapt in the air with joy. He turned to one of his many political advisors, with whom he had been playing, and grabbed the man by the shoulders, nearly giving him a heart attack.*
"Yes! We're goin' to war!"
*The man could do nothing but nod with wide eyes. LeChuck let him go and he scampered out of the room. He immediately ran into The Room (the secret room, just The Room now) and wired up some of the radios. Through the wine trade, the pirates and Jean had established a line of communication that was untraceable, undetectable, and unhackable. It only worked between their galaxies and Jean's worlds, but it was the best option, since Jean had no crystal and LeChuck couldn't do telepathy. He grabbed the microphone hastily, first sending out a blast of static. If anyone on the other end had been coincidentally listening, they were certainly deaf.*
"Jean! Good te hear from ye, mate. We will glady come to yer aid. What else are customers for?" He grinned, "So unfortunately, due to personal matters, neither Zanzibar nor I will be overseein' the reinforcements personally. But I'll send my best commanders, some of the most elite in the Northern Universe, to lead our troops. Oh, an' if ye need extra transports for some of yer people, we've got plenty of room over here. Now, as you know, barely 1/4 of our planets are scum-infested. We've got some of the most stunning cities in the universe, we'd gladly have yer people. If ye want, we'll send over a couple million transports for ye, only if ye want. And who knows, I might actually jus' show up to fight some meself, if I finish my business early. Anyways, good luck mate. I'll be watchin' the proceedin's from afar."
*LeChuck ended the transmission and sat back with a satisfied look on his face. Although he would've gone to Jean's aid indefinitely, it was always good for a man to be able to admit when he needed help from his allies. Humility was a quality that all great leaders should have. After all, pride was a deadly sin.*
*He left his room and headed over to one of the countless barracks that housed 30,000 men. There were approximately 833,340 in the whole galaxy, enough to house the 25 billion soldiers. As LeChuck entered the man on watch announced his presence as he hastily formed up and saluted. There was a massive shoving of benches and rustling of feet as the remaining 30,000 struggled to stand up and salute. LeChuck stood on the balcony surveying them all, before speaking.*
"Gentlemen! We have word that an ally of ours is in danger! He has requested our help, and I assured him that I would send no less than the finest fighters our galaxy had to offer! I have chosen you, among others, to lead the flagships to victory against our allies enemy who is therefore our enemy! We shall fight, and we shall win!"
*A massive roar erupted from the men. LeChuck quickly cut them off as he shouted orders for the men to gear up and get moving.*
*They had only used soldiers stationed on Greupetos, and from the depths of the planet, 10 massive docking bay doors opened from places across the planet. From the bays came 5 massive warships, each the size of the ancient Tyrannic, along with about 500,000 fighters. They all formed into space and prepared for the jump to Jean's world. LeChuck gave the word, and in a flash the large fleet was gone. Jean was only receiving a small taste of their power, but LeChuck was confident it would be more than enough to help with Jean's problem.*

*Franklin saluted and mumbled his thanks as he hurried off the return to his station. LeChuck turned and went back to his secret chamber. He lit a cigar and watched the holographs as he touched the crystal in his leg.*
Zanz, two things: One, Jean and Lawrence are involved now in the EWCA-OWCA conflict. Lawrence appears to be allied with the OWCA, but Jean just attacked them unprovoked, which was mighty stupid, because I doubt the OWCA will overlook it. Jean's small system is in danger. But I can't come to his aid unless he asks. It's the principle of the matter, you know. Oh, and secondly, I found the perfect specimen for the experiments. Lemme know when yer ready. I'll find you one as well, if ye haven't found one already. I'm sure ye have, tho. Anyway, it's been some time, mate. Come have a drink, we'll discuss plans. The new museum is bein' built on Tryf, we might go take a look. Ciao
*LeChuck sat back in his chair and pondered the result of Jean challenging the OWCA. He would not like to stand by and watch a very powerful force steamroll Jean and his people. However, he could not come to a man's aid without the man having the humility to ask. It was the principle of the matter, as LeChuck had mentioned to Zanzibar. LeChuck had always been big on honor and valor, and those values had not been tarnished whatsoever over the years. His eyes gazed off into space as he began wondering where they were going to expand their reach next.*

*LeChuck takes his daily stroll about Port Royal, the capital city of Greupetos and the largest city in all the Northern Universe that was their domain. The city was stunningly gorgeous, filled with colorful skies, spectacular architecture with styles from all across the universe, countless museums and centers for arts sponsoring dance, painting, languages, etc. It was the crown jewel of their vision, and they had finally built it. LeChuck mostly spent his time in his penthouse apartment in the center of the city, overlooking it and taking in it's beauty. Their mountain fortress in the volcano was rarely used yet still kept fully operational and active 24/7. LeChuck walked across the span of windows that overlooked half the city. He smiled with pride.*
*As he was surveying the vast metropolis, the newly promoted Major Charles came running towards LeChuck with the digital recording of the transmission after it had been filtered.*
Charles: Here you are, sir! And the Captain on Deck asks that you give him orders immediately as to what course of action we will be taking, sir!
*The man jumped to position and saluted, his face set in determination as he continued panting, but was visibly trying to hide it. LeChuck laughed.*
"Oh, drop that hand an' get yer breath back, lad. I'm in a good mood. Come, let's get you a drink while I listen to this."
*LeChuck led the man away from the window towards his giant living room filled with 50 couches. It took damn near 2 minutes to walk across the room. When they finally reached the wet bar LeChuck was behind it and had two brandys poured before the Major even sat down. He motioned for the man to drink and said he'd be back in a second. In a flash he was at the other end of the room and passed through the wall. He was within his most secretive chamber. Some men knew about it; most didn't. It had no doors, and was encased with 10 feet of the thickest, strongest metal known to man. Impenetrable, and the first metal that was impervious to anti-matter. It had taken centuries to develop, and it was a priceless commodity. LeChuck and Zanzibar were the only ones in the universe with the capability to create it. As of right now, the small amount of it was used in this room to protect it. They were on their way to protecting their armada with it, but that would take some more time. This metal was so strong, it was the only thing in existence that LeChuck could not crush with his bare hands. That was truly a miracle.*
*He sat in his plush chair in the middle of the room, filled with holographic projections of quadrants in the city, trained to focus on emotions and brain waves. If someone was contemplating hurting someone important, such as LeChuck, they were instantly targeted and brought in for questioning. There were few who harbored ill will against their King.*
*LeChuck inserted the chip into his machine, and the transmission began playing. When he had finished, he left the room, leaving the chip inside, and rejoined Franklin for the drink.*
"Alright lad, I heard it. I know those men. Fought with 'em long before you were born. Lawrence is an interestin' chap, hes been around fer ages, longer than meself. Jean is a good man, if not a bit pompous. But he's honest and trustworthy, as long as you're a friend. This DefTech leader, though.....I've heard bad things about him. From what I heard otherwise, he fired his main cannon into a crowded city filled with innocents during an invasion. I don't like that much...."
*LeChuck was getting visibly tense. Franklin's eyes darted around, sweat forming on his brow, unsure as to what tro say or do, or if he should even say or do anything at all. Finally he decided to break the silence.*
"Well......do....do we take sides, sir? I mean.....will they ever be coming our way? Shouldn't we be--"
*LeChuck held up his man, silencing the man.*
"Ease up, lad. We're already basically allied with Jean. We haven't communicated since the Tortugan War, really, but he came to our aid then, an' that makes him an ally. But right now we help nobody unless they ask. We haven't been involved in a war in nigh on 300 years, and we don't intend on doin' so anytime soon."
*He sipped his brandy. The Major hadn't touched his yet. LeChuck noticed and raised his eyebrow. The man practically yelped and began gulping it down.*
"Right.....besides, no man would be foolish enough to bring a war to us. They'd be destoryed. That's why nobody attacks us. The OWCA and the EWCA both know we're not to be trifled with. the SCA tried once before, and they were completely destroyed through their hasty desires to bring an end to Tortuga. They know the result..."
*He finished his brandy slowly, noticing the Major had finished his before LeChuck had, even though he had started much later. The man was visibly affected. LeChuck smiled.*
"Okay lad, back to yer post. Ye did well. Another promotion is in order."
*The man gasped and fell backwards his seat. LeChuck roared and shook with laughter. He slapped the bar as Franklin scrambled to regain his seat.*
"Hoooo! That was good. I'm jus' jokin', lad. No promotions. On yer way, now."

*LeChuck sat in his throne room, playing with some of the merchants children. They were playing a game similar to hide and seek, but LeChuck was always the one hiding, and the 15 kids had to find him. He raced around the room, and the kids ran squealing after him. He always let them finally catch him at his chair.*
*After 100 years on the throne, LeChuck's (metaphorical) heart had begun to soften. Spending so many years at peace was unheard of for him. He had to get in a fight almost every other day to keep his sea cred. He still trained daily, of course, but his skills were fully maxed out now in speed and strength and everything the Ancients had taught them. He had not killed a man in 10 years, and it was beginning to make LeChuck more personable, less threatening. Despite the fact that he was visibly deteriorating, and very obviously not human or "alive", people had begun to like him and his ways. He was fair, but punishing and firm when he had to be. Even though there were still the few odd vagrant planets in their control, LeChuck would never complete forget his old ways. He allowed them to go about their business, but attempted invasion of any of the surrounding civilized planets was punishable by death. He kept his reputation up by explaining to the scoundrels that times were changing, and you could no longer be all for yourself. Allies were necessary, and it never hurt to have friends. People tended to listen to LeChuck, or at least pretend to. Being an infidel and disobeying LeChuck was a personal crime and always instantly resulting in death. People listened.*
*A servant appeared at the bottom of the steps leading up to LeChuck's throne. Zanzibar's chair was next to his, but had begun to gather some dust as it had been empty for the past few months. The two were perfectly allright with this. The messenger bowed and waited for LeChuck to signal he might rise. LeChuck first shooed off the children, and several maids came out of side doors to lead the children off to their lunches. LeChuck's days of slaughtering children were over.*
Messenger: Sire, we have reports of fighting between the OWCA, the EW--- *LeChuck cut him off*
"Piss off! Tell me somethi' I don't know, ye lackwit."
*The messenger remained, silent but still bowed. LeChuck stared at him quizzically, but finally ceded the man had more to say. LeChuck bade him to rise and continue. The man picked up without missing a beat.*
Messenger: --CA nearby another EWCA colony that is almost now completely conquered. However, reports also show two newer parties in the conflict, two that had not played a part in them before. One proved to be using Mars Mining Corporation vessels, however differently equipped and manned. The other fired upon Lusankya several times, and got fire back, but soon disappeared on the radar. It was fairly small but had impressive weaponry.
*LeChuck's eyes narrowed as he thought to himself. He stroked his beard, which was now completely white. His skin was slightly old and splotchy. He looked very similar to Viktor Yushchenko (poor guy).*
"Hmm....do we know who they were?"
Messenger: Aye, sir. We intercepted almost all of their radio broadcasts using that new antennae we got. Works like a charm. You can hear all the transmissions if you'd like. A lot of it is just "I'll hurt you, no you won't, ill kill you, blah blah"
*LeChuck found himself laughing inside. Despite this man's unbelievable insolence while standing before the King, he was very amusing and relaxed in his relating the information. LeChuck began eyeing the man, studying him, as he stop listening to the report and started learning things about him from his slight movements and other things. It took LeChuck a moment before he realized the messenger had stopped speaking and they were both staring at each other. LeChuck quickly adjusted his formal jacket and cleared his throat.*
"Right, right. Well, have someone filter the communications out, keeping only names and locations. Of course, anything that sounds important, I hope I can trust your judgement not to leave out?"
Messenger: Aye aye, sir. You can count on me.
*The messenger turned on his heel to leave but LeChuck stopped him.*
"Hold up there, son. What's yer name?"
Messenger: Charles, sir. PFC Franklin Charles.
"So Frank, yea?"
*The messenger looked uneasy for a moment. LeChuck was not known to refer to grunts by names at all, let alone first names.*
Messenger: Uh, y-yes sir. Frank. S'what the men call me, generally.
*LeChuck eyed him over again. He liked the way the man composed himself, held himself. Before he was put on the spot and made nervous, of course. LeChuck reached behind him and withdrew a laser grid (basically advanced sheet of paper, imagine, whatever). He punched some buttons and moved through files and documents. When he had found what he wanted, he withdrew the "pen" from the side and signed it. He pushed a button, and a hardcopy version of the document materialized in front of him. He grabbed it and motioned to hand it the Frank. The Private cautiously approached the throne and took the piece of paper. He quickly scanned it, and his eyes slowly grew wide as his jaw dropped.*
Messenger:B-b-but sir! A promotion?! I just delivered a message! I...I'm not certain I'm ready to become a Major!
*LeChuck was a little peeved the man had not been more gracious and thankful about the sudden leap in rank for the man. He leaned forward and lowered his voice.*
"Listen son, I think you're up to it but ye just don't know yet. Now take it like a man and don't make me regret givin it to ye. Dismissed."
*The man bowed and muttered repeated thanks. He turned and walked very quickly from the chamber. LeChuck could hear the man whooping outside the doors. He smiled. He touched the crystal in his leg*
Captain, have an office made for a Major Franklin Charles prepared. He'll be presenting you with the official document soon enough.
*Quite used to LeChuck's bizarre manners, the man was unphased. Yes sir, right away sir was the only reply back.*

Let's have all ye scallywags updated on we pirates. ARR!!
I'll be a tad more brief and less descriptive than Tacitacial.

Over the course of years from when the SCA had first began to crumble up to now, when the corporations and the government are in a battle for power, LeChuck and Zanzibar have remained off the radar. They have spent their time completely away from the grasps of the government, finally succeeding in fulfulling the pirates dreams: colonizing worlds. They had begun in the known northern universe, and extended eastward and farther north, so far north as to make some alarming discoveries...

What was once a sizeable space station and home to some 20 million humans is now a colony of several dozen planets, ranging in size. The largest of the three, and first to be colonized, was Greupetos. On one of their many space adventures LeChuck had spied Greupetos after having been jettisoned from the docking bay of an enemy ship. While they assumed he was a normal human and dead, LeChuck instead was blasted out into oblivion. It took him 2 months to find his way back, but while he was flying through the unknown he passed by what was easily the largest planet he had ever seen. As large as the sun, 1/3 covered in extremely active and alien volcanos, LeChuck had instantly claimed and named it, Greupetos (he doesn't even know where the name came from).
Greupetos was now completely colonized, almost every square inch. Thus, they moved on to the surrounding planets, significantly smaller but still huge. These two were Jarvis and Attila, named after two enemies LeChuck and Zanzibar had conquered in the past. The remaining others had names but were unimportant.
In all, LeChuck and Zanzibar now had some 30 odd planets under their control. Countless others in allegiance, but 30 main. Greupetos was the main planet, naturally, and home to Zanzibar and LeChuck's newest fortress. This was far better than the old Tortugan defenses were. As for Tortuga, it remained preserved, still floating out in space. However, it had now been equipped with the latest in cloaking technology, only known by LeHCuck and Zanz and a handful of personal scientists. It was no longer a colony, but something far more secret. It hadn't been seen in 100 years...(And no, it's not a Death Star or anything cheesy like that)
The Tortugan fleet had been completely repaired and the Sins were once again active, with much improved technology as well. There were also 30 new capital ships, one for each planet. Greupetos had 5 of it's own, being as large as it was. Each capital ship modeled after Eternity II in size and shape, as LeChuck's way of honoring Lizordium.
The pirates had stayed completely out of the conflict, backing neither side as neither side had nothing to offer them, nor did they care who won. Since their civilization had turned from one of criminals and low-lifes to one of fairly upstanding stature (on most planets, still the 3-4 ratty criminal ones) in the universe, home to some of the richest and most extravagant merchants in the universe.
The Kradiks, Narbins, and Jyeet's remained close allies with the pirates, and after the war that they had had with Kray's people, who lost tremendously and all traces of them was completely annihilated, their ties became closer. LeChuck remained behind to make sure the colonization and construction of the planets and all went well, as Zanzibar traveled far and wide to accumulate resources and more allies. After allying themselves with a dozen more alien species, Zanzibar had returned home to help govern.

Present: LeChuck and Zanzibar go about their daily lives, things remaining stable and calm in the (can't think of a good name yet for the planets, have one coming). They remained out of the conflict, and so far wished to remain neutral and uninvolved. They ahd their own agenda. LeChuck is currently trying desparately to contact Taelyn and the AUS, wondering where the hell they've been all these years.

I was going to question that as well, but I think it was just for the sake of things, in terms of 200 million Jovians piling on top of Farlander, and that would've been it. I made a point (or I think i did) to mention there were still a whole lotta Jovians left on Jovia, so.....yea......sorry if we killed off about 200 million of your people.

By the way, what is the next era? Have we decided or not? I'm revved and ready to go, man. Are there any options? Or has it already been decided.

And from here on out it's just more and more future. So.....shit is just gonna get more and more weird and scientific. I fear some of the things that may come in the future of this RP.

(Dude, I am DYING to figure out how Lawrence has come back. I can't wait for the story to that. And what a happy ending, Lawrence and Navcom run , hand in hand, off into the sunset ;P)

*LeChuck waits as the proper preparations are made and the Tortugan fleet, what remains of it, is reassembled outside Tortuga. Several hours later thousands of transports carrying criminals of varying race and species arrive on the scene, and they are immediately shut tight and programmed to follow the fleet. LeChuck leans back and puts his feet up in his seat.*
"Well fellas, this is it. We're about to make the step up from space station to planet, maybe even several...."
*LeChuck's eyes glitter as he daydreams about their future. He is interrupted by Zanzibar.*
I'm all ready over here, mate. Ready whenever you are.
LeChuck replied. Right-o, me hearty. Let's power up the new technology we got, that hyper-hyper-super space thinger or somethin'. Wanna drop by the Narbin galaxy first? Say hey and thanks? We gotta stop by the Kradiks, too. They lost a lot of men. Bah, let's go get settled first. To Greupetos.
*All the ships prepare for the jump, even Tortuga itself, under the watchful eye of several engineering ships outside of it. In a flash Tortuga and all it's ships are gone from the SCA and headed to a new home. Who knows what those crazy pirates would be up to.....whatever it was, it would be a JOLLY FUCKIN' GOOD TIME!

(Sorry, that was insane. I'm giddy right now. Pardon. And that's essentially it for us pirates. Zanz can add something if he wants.)

If you need anything to get underway I can probably arrange for it while Navcom is still connected to the SCA network.

*LeChuck thought deeply on this. He felt strangely compelled to trust this Lawrence, almost a sense of duty, to hear him out and do right by him. As if returning the favor from something he had done for him in a previous life. LeChuck, knowing his bizarre past and method of resurrection, was not foolish enough to ignore these feelings.*
"I feel.....I feel strangely about ye, Lawrence. As if you had been kind to me, or even---"
*LeChuck suddenly realized he sounded like a blubbering ninny. He cursed under his breath.*
"Right. Well, we certainly appreciate yer frankness on the matter. I'm very glad to hear the Emperor is dead and the SCA will be creating a new government. I have better hopes for the SCA now."
*He noticed Syrus had appeared on his ship and was sitting nearby. He gave LeChuck an aknowledging nod. LeChuck returned it.*
"Aye, there will always be more criminals. An Tortuga is merely a pitstop compared to the dreams and plans Zanzibar and I have. But yes, I think yer right. We will certainly be leavin' the SCA space and not trifle' with 'em unless they bother us first. Of course, we will be havin' our ships back."
"So yea, we just need our ships back. And one more thing. Consider it a favor for both of us. Load all the creatures currently imprisoned in the depths of the SCA and put them all on transports that will automatically follow us we we venture elsewhere. That way, we'll not only clear yer jails an' streets, but we'll also save ye money on yer budget."
*He sat up and prepared to have Tortuga reappear and the fleet depart*
"That is all we should require, and the prisoner deal is on the table. An' don't worry. We'll make sure these scum don't be comin' back to bother ye no more once they're freed and brought with us. We have ways...."
*LeChuck brought his ship up and ready for departure, King's Ransom following suit. Minutes later Tortuga shimmered into view. At the sight of the ships the captain on Deck scrambled to the radio.*
Capt: Sir! Sir, what happened?! Where is everyone?! What's happe--
"Shut up, ye snivelin dog!" *The Captain was instantly silenced.*
"I'll fill ye in later. Fer now power down the shields and set the reactors to restore power. Fire up the Main Engines and prepare for departure. We're gettin' the hell away from Earth for good."
Capt: Aye aye, sir.

*At the mention of the name "Lawrence", LeChuck suddenly convulsed. He then went into a fit. Pictures were flashing through his head. A skinny, shaggy black-haired kid with red eyes and a glowing sword in a temple....A man pushing him from a portal.....A huge winged creature....*
*He composed himself once more, quite confused as to what had just happened, but very much aware at what Lawrence had just said.*
"Okay Lawrence, listen here. We don't take kindly to threats. An' in case you hadn't looked around, besides Lusankya, ye ain't got no more ships either. Right now we outnumber ye, 2-1. Don't pretend yer in a rulin' position."
*LeChuck sighed as he leaned back and lit a cigar.*
"But we're not stupid, either. I have no problems with gettin' the SCA out of our hair. But there's one problem: Tortuga was founded on one principle and one principle alone. It provided a safe-haven for criminals and low-lifes to escape the grasp of the SCA. How are we supposed to provide that service when we're light years away?"

*LeChuck's eyes dart around, unsure as to what would happen next.*
"Okay.....there's yer ship. What do ye want te talk about?"

*The transmission is also routed to Devil's Plague. LeChuck's eyes narrow as he eyes the Captain. He thinks to himself about the pros and cons.*
"Allright, fair enough. Let's have a meetin'"
