OK what if evolution DID happen? What does that disprove other than the first bit of Genesis?

What do you mean why would she go to jail? For having sex with minors. And it's not a stupid law.
EDIT: Actually yes I did ask it, but it was more of a rhetorical question.
To everyone who replies: Remember, I didn't ask if it was possible. I asked if you would want to live there, why and why not, and what would you change?
Ignoring my join date, a lot of us were here back in the day. Not sure why they changed the slogan though, I liked the old one.

We are treated like glitches, as they try to fix us, or make us go away.
It's bullshit, don't believe it.
Genius tbh, I like the way you said that. Like a computer glitch...yeah I guess it's true. People will try to tell you to be more social, but you may try and then crash and burn. Know why? Cause that's not being yourself.
After reading all of your responses, I realize my WRITING had some flaws, the way I presented it. I didn't exactly mean a Utopia, sorry, I meant more of a perfect society though. To one of the first comments that said every government becomes an oligarchy, I think you're thinking of a government, which every country has, but not all countries have more than one supreme leader, which is what an oligarchy, which is what the United States, for example, would be if we had more than one president (or at least that's how I mean it).
I read further, and I saw a comment about 'The Giver'. Wow, you read my mind, that's actually one of the main influences of this, along with some of Plato's writings.
But yeah, I read further and I saw something about entertainment. Well let's think - they didn't just do NOTHING before computers. Think about it. They played outside on nice days and might have read or played in the rain on rainy days (might not be accurate though - I wasn't there).
Anyways, thanks for your comments, keep responding.

Not my music, I just favorited it.
Well people say that they can be themselves, but when someone talks to them, they tell a lie. I guess you could say it's human nature to try to be accepted, but is it worth it?
Humans have had troubles since the beginning of time. Warfare, corrupt politics, natural disasters, ect. Every day, people live in a world full of tragedies. Obviously, some things will never cease. Natural disasters can't be stopped, for example. But what if a utopia were created. A remote utopia were created away from the troubles of modern society. A utopia were no one was judged by their clothes, skin, sex, ect. A perfect place.
Would it be possible? Maybe so. Obviously the first step would be to decide where it would be established. My first thoughts would be on a remote island, but then it would be commonly wrecked by hurricanes or tsunamis. So my next thought would be in a large, desolate field where there is nothing around. It would be nothing more than a city of course. Not too much expansion.
The next step is, of course, the government. It couldn't be too free, or else all the problems of modern society would return. So what about this - government would not be by one ruler, but by a group of people. To get a job in the utopia, children would be given jobs at age 14. They would be selected by the group of leaders. Whatever job they selected, they would do. If they didn't like it, they could submit an appeal. At age 30, anyone who wishes to can run to be put on the group of rulers.
Connection with the outside world would be extremely limited, so nobody is tempted with curiosity. Laws would be very strict, and many punishable by banishment from the utopia.
The economy would be nearly non-existent. Not in a bad way, but people wouldn't need to buy things, because luxuries such as cars and computers would not be allowed in the community.
Also more details on the subject that I won't go into. But would you want to live in this kind of society. Why or why not? What changes would you make?

Actually oogle.com (do NOT click if it turns into a link) redirects to a female webcam site. Not gay. As for the actual event, I personally wouldn't have been using school computers. Just do whatever it is at home, so that kind of stuff doesn't happen.
Thing is, how many people are TRULY themselves. People go out of their comfort zones for popularity, so would you consider this living a lie or living right?
So with that being said, do you think that it's advice that kids should be given?
"Be yourself"
The phrase that parents, teachers, counselors, ect. tell kids to encourage them to not bend to peer pressure. But how well does being yourself work?
For some of the luckier people in life, it works great. They have a good old time involving laughter and drugs. But what about the others? What about the quiet people on Earth? The shy people? What happens to them? They take the advice given and live a quiet, peaceful...and lonely life. I've seen it happen lots of times.
What about the Holocaust? The Jews were themselves, but where did that get them? Six-million dead.
So tell me forum - is it a good idea to be yourself?

OK enough discussion about the title, discuss the topic now (final comment on it is that it's spelled "Shamu" not "Shamoo").
Anyways, yeah it's pretty brutal. But that's just one of the risks you take when you force a killer whale to do a show in front of all these people. You KNOW those guys don't want to be there performing, they want to be out in open waters reproducing and eating krill. I say it's their fault. What would YOU do if some strange creature you know nothing about forced YOU to do a show?
Eww, buttsecks. Anyways, I've never done it, nor do I intend to, but I doubt it smells. I don't see how it could (of course I've never studied the asshole much). All I know is that I hear of people doing it all the time, so either they aren't turned off by the smell, or there is none.
Yep. It's because they don't share our views of freedom and liberty. Well, that's the main reason anyways. There are more though. They try to stop the expansion of democracy...and we try to stop the spread of the commies. We don't hate ALL countries that are communists...just most of them ;)

I'm with TheReno. And the only way Russians could win a war against the U.S. is if they suicide. They would have to send a HELL of a lot of nukes to do wide scale damage. Which might cause nuclear winter/ice age/ect. which would not only destroy the U.S. but also Russia and all other counties above the tropics. So that would basically screw everyone. But then again that's just what we should expect from Russians.

If you HAVE to go to Ireland/UK, I'd go to Ireland.
Otherwise, I'd choose to go to Iran, where we Americans are loved.
The government shouldn't teach it. That's a parents job, but sadly, epic parent fails DO happen, so I guess the government has to step in sometime or another.
Wait are you Russian? Didn't see your Hammer&Sickle.
I don't know much about economy (not an economist or anything), but how do I know you didn't ruin it for us?
And I'm guessing you're Canadian (unless I read that wrong), so if we can't take your country on in hockey, how did we beat your last night?
@ the amount of debt America is in: not much I can say to back us up here. I guess we obviously spend more than we make.
Well whatever, I'm just saying, I'm proud of America. We're just going through a bad time right now (for example, we've had several bad presidents in a row (see my signature)).
She's just so hot, how could you NOT get a boner?
Woops. Anyways, like I was gonna say last post, parents talk about sex like it's a bad thing. It's a good thing, but not when you don't play it safe and wear a condom. That's definitely the biggest things boys should be taught, and at a young age. These days, kids are having sex younger and younger (I've heard of kids having sex when they were even 11 (and research says only 50% of kids even KISS before age 14)). Kids shouldn't be told about sex when they're, say, 8 or so. I'd teach my kids around age 13 (if he/she didn't already know). I wish kids would wait, but if they don't, the best thing they can do is at least use protection.
Still, someone's gotta take the blood.

Nope, they'd still get mad at us if we didn't. They'd say, "Why is the United States standing back and watching while there is so much conflict?"

12?! Who has sex when they're 12?
Sorry to go off topic but could someone explain to me basically what facism and socialism is?
And back on topic: You can't really hope for anything but a Democrat or Republican for president. We haven't had anything else since Millard Fillmore (1850-1853), and he was a Whig. We haven't had an Independent (my personal preference) since John Tyler (1841-1845), and there was only one other Independent as president before him, of whom was Mr. George Washington (1789-1797). I have a feeling we'll never see those days again (at least for a while), and honestly, how much longer can we, the United States, hold up before we piss some communists off and they nuke us?

Yeah, you can't just make music based on what you hear from someone else, you have to make music based on what YOU want to be YOURS.
