First off you should post your artwork in the thread using the "Include Picture" function below the message box. The usual way is to create a personal showcase thread (you create ONE and it is yours for all eternity), give it a suiting name (like "Omogis Art Thread") and post all the stuff you have drawn or whatever you will draw in the future there.
Be aware that if you ask for critique you will get critique not just compliments. Comments may sound harsh sometimes, but they are supposed to help you.
Enjoy your stay, Ma'am!

Posting the two backgrounds from the AWESOME game "The Choice".
Yeah it's an awesome "game" just not very interactive. :P
Anyways, congrats on the frontpage.
I like the wind swirls you added. It's more dynamic and goes well with the grass ripples.
To those who don't know what I'm talking about: Go and watch the movie... NOW!
Proper Raptors was amazingly funny and probably my favourite entry. Didn't watch the other winners yet, they belong to the group of 3 - 4 videos I didn't watch yet. Congrats to all of the winners anyway.
Also "The Choice" and "John finds his Dog" were pretty funny movies. I thought one of them would enter the top three.
The brushes don't look convincing (or even good for the grass).
This non-digital version looks a whole lot better. Do you have more hand-drawn stuff?
I still recommend that you try some basic tutorials and keep drawing drawing drawing.

I relized that before I continue to post in the art portal (then find a lot of flaws therefore getting slammed in the reviews) I should just post here first and improve from there. SO. Here is a awesome face sun that I drew with crayons then digitlized it, any suggestion on the grass or sun? should I get rid of the awesome face? Ahhh so many questions >.<
Ok let's start with the pic. If you want an awesome face on the sun, then it's fine I guess, that's not the problem. The grass does not really look like grass. It seems you used some kind of texture from the art program you are using and drew the grass with that.
If you want to draw grass and don't know where to start, then search some references. Google some pics of grass, find some grass that looks the way you want it and try to draw something that looks close to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should trace or copy the grass, but draw what you see.
The lines on the sun are wobbly, but with enough time and practice you will get better at that automatically. Just draw a line and when it's not looking good undo it and try again. That's what many people here are doing.
Generally you could start by learning some basics. I always recommend to learn proper shading cause this can make life so much easier. Here is a tutorial from art101 (unfortunately the sample pic links are broken) that might help you.
Also don't worry too much about negative criticism, it will always happen to you and most people are trying to help you by pointing out the flaws. Good luck!
Hey everyone,
the links to the example pics in art101's shading / contrast tutorial are all broken. :(
Who is in charge of that user account anyway? Or is it a single user? I was always wondering about that.
@Fifty: The theater looks great.

Sketch is done I guess. Just planning to make the buildings smaller and push them further away to make it look like he is flying a bit higher in the sky. Any other suggestions?

The creeper looks kinda cool and I like the sketchy style. It's my favourite of your pics and it's also the only one that is shaded.
As for the diver, the completely black background does not look good, I know it's supposed to be deep under water but it' not working. Also what is wrong with his face? And it could use more details, even if you went for a stylized drawing or something.
If you want to learn more dynamic poses (like for the girl drawing) I can recommend posemaniacs.
I agree with Kashi, it's looking interesting in here.

Boring? Owls ain't boring, everyone is fond of owls.
Also, it seems some didn't notice that the OP said he will draw 3 things, not like 13 things or 30 things.
I should work on my flood pic instead, but this is fun.

No way he did it by just smudging and/or "repositioning" parts of the pic. Look at the eyes. I mean, really....
Basically, you could start by removing your the pics you have done in MS Paint and uploading more finished pencil work. If you want to draw digitally, you should rather not use MS Paint, the result doesn't look good in most cases.
You could check out this list of free art programs instead. My tip: The GIMP
Good luck!
Should have used a vector programm, because anti-aliasing results in different colour tones every here and there. Anyways, it was fun....

I wanted to ask in an unconventional and funny way, if you had already planned to add some depth to the picture, good sir. But it seems I failed.
Any better?
Yup

Depth maybe. I think it would be cool if the mandala thingy in the middle would look slighty elevated/raised (whatever is the correct term).

Amazing idea, we could also give it a new cool name then like.... erm.... Art Forum Lounge or something even cooler.
Ya know me? Things like that are good for the lounge (probably), but disturbing as useless threads.

So I guess Jack's pic is going straight to the gallery, isn't it? Also Jack seems to be fine with Knoc's decision, only the bloodthirsty crowd calls for a battle.
But a little blood-thirst never hurts, I guess.
Don't worry Drog, I also think this could be a good topic for the lounge.

Nah, come one you actually love them, admit it.
It's really hard to critique your pieces, because one does not know where to start. Lineart, colouring, shading, anatomy, basically everything is not right. If you really want to improve start with simple things. Try to draw a realistic looking apple, draw a sphere, a cube and other basic shapes to get a hang of it.
Look at the tutorials in art101's newspost and follow the lessons.
Apart from that, don't spam threads:

^ Do you really think they are all necessary? Also don't get rude when people give you advice and say something absolutely true.
Ya know what? Everytime after checking the Screw Collab, the Totem Collab and the Alien Collab, I check out this one to relief myself. It's coming along very nice and I can't really decide which is my favourite entry or WIP at the moment.
Not saying the other collabs are coming along very bad, but I really like this one the most.
@Darkittys: Sorry but to me it looks strange, that the black and purple lines inside the dress are absolutely straight. It kinda clashes with the folds it has on the outside. The lines looks way better the way you did them on the collar. Don't get me wrong, I really like your pic besides that.

Style-wise this wolf pic looks amazing to me. The neck looks a little long though (or the head is too small).
But I still like it.
Was this done with pencil and paper or digitally?
Room is still alive, but not for long, I fear....
To get back to topic just a little....
Good news is, I can use a computer occasionally to draw on. So I did a rough sketch of what was on my mind.
But I can't say I'm going to finish this definitely, since I can't really plan when and for how long I can use the laptop.
Also to OP: No offense, but you lost some good artists already. You should set a good example and spend more time on your drawings. The menu pic does not look finished to me, too many flats, too much empty space in the background, inaccurate lighting. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but we would like your great idea to result in a great collab, not a mediocre collab.

Explaining jokes ain't fun, but somebody needs to do it.
