My thoughts exactly, simple but effective.
I especially like the shed and the sandbox. I can even imagine feeling the sand if I was able to dig my hand into it. Must play your team's game now....

Wow I like the look on her face... like she has some guileful plan in mind while she looks at you. o_O
I like the changes you made to the snail. I was about to post about the black lines, when you suddenly uploaded the next version. These final changes to the shading really made this one pop even more. Great job.

I like the Tee-ception and good / evil one, but I have seen similar designs on threadless and other sites. I even assume there is some kind of copyright on the original ones.
Also, the forum doesn't really support transparency. Maybe you should add a plain background yourself instead.

last hint sealed it for me.
Thank god, Kinsei killed that monster. It is a coffee filter, I blame the modern fully automated coffee machines for the difficulty of this one. Thanks for the link too.
This looks like a space between the door?.... nah.
How about the side of a toaster, you know with the push down lever.
Nope sorry, no pliers, no space between any doors and no toaster lever.

My first guess would be 31 August, but will that be too late or just right?
Sorry if I have to repeat myself, but this is another thing that depends on the programmer. Usually he would tell you what amount of time he would need to finish the flash and that would determine the possible deadline. I'd say August 31st sounds ok though.
At 7/1/12 10:36 PM, Kinsei01 wrote: I have yet to give up. Something like this will not defeat me.
I must strive forth until I know its secrets.
That's the spirit! I won't give up either and won't tell you the solution just like that, but let me recap:
It's something made of paper. You can find it in the kitchen and it is used to prepare a drink. Even without (or especially without?) the picture, there is a chance you could guess it from this description.
BUT this pic is kinda killing all the fun. So I made the wise decision to post a new one in the meantime. This means you can still guess for the old pic, but if you got sick of it you have something new to look at. I don't even demand you to specify if you want to guess for the old or new pic, since this would make everything too complicated. Guess away and I will get it from the context.
NEW PIC!

Don't give up, I will continue to give more hints until this one is done and we can move on to hopefully more fun ones. lol
I said it's used for a drink before, let me add: It is used to PREPARE a drink.
At 7/1/12 04:34 PM, PMMurphy wrote: a leather coaster?
Nope, and it's made of paper.

No, sorry.

At 7/1/12 04:14 PM, PMMurphy wrote: a drying mat?
Neither of those unfortunately.
I think the problem is that in America there are two "usual" versions of this, while here in Germany there is virtually only this one known. I didn't know this when I uploaded this pic.
Maybe I should make up for that with another hint: It's not used for food, but for a drink.
Sorry no correct guess yet. Hint: You would find it in the kitchen.
You can do it art forum, I believe in you!
At 6/30/12 07:34 PM, Mabelma wrote: So I drew Gary the Snail. I originally wanted to draw spongebob sitting on a saddle but after a couple of sketches just decided to scratch the whole concept and just draw a big ass snail with a spike collar. It'll be a good experiment, I want to see if I can get that whole sticky substance texture down on painting. Anyways, the mushrooms are there to give you a sort of idea of how big the snail really is. (originally was going to be posted as a submission for a Re-Imagine Spongebob challenge over on deviantart)
Looks really promising, looking forward to its progress! I like how it stretches over to one side, you made the "sticking to the ground" come across very well on the opposite end of the snail by that.
Overall very nice stuff in your thread, I enjoy it.
Nope, sorry folks. No correct guess yet.
Stick with the paper. Does anyone recognize the pattern in the top right? It may or may not be important. ;)
At 6/30/12 03:13 PM, Kinsei01 wrote: I''m thinking a paper folder or file for papers.
Paper is good, but it's not a folder or file.
At 6/30/12 03:41 PM, PMMurphy wrote: a type of fabric with that color (baise? manilla?)
It is of course "some sort" of fabric, but what is made from it? As I said to Kinsei, paper is a good direction.

I just threw together a new WIP in about 30 minutes. Not sure if I will be able to finish this.
Considering this post and the few entries so far....

Just to clarify, EBF4 won't be out for at least 3 months.
As usual I'll have a fanart gallery in the game itself, so some art can show up in there as well.
Also, I can make a front page post about this project at some point, but you guys will have to tell me what information you want me to put in that.
Er... I think that's everything I wanted to say.
... are you sure you want to stick with the deadline on monday? I mean, that was 3 weeks ago, so there are still more than two months to go. So instead of waiting for the entries and then look for someone to do the flash, why not show the stuff that has already been done to find someone and therefore extend the deadline? Maybe take matt's offer to get some more attention to this? Maybe, he knows someone who would be willing to help you with the flash, if you talked to him? It would be nice if this succeeded.

Problem solved. It was indeed a problem with my AOL e-mail which I only use for lesser important sign-ups. Use googlemail and it worked in a sec. Seeing how fast and easy signing up on both sites is and considering that both websites are trustworthy pages that won't spam your email, I don't see how voting is too much to ask from anyone.
