Why do you guys hate G+? Is better than that Facebook crap.
I hardly care about which social network it is. Facebook is annoying me already and I don't need another one.
I'd prefer a way to hang out with everyone at a simple chat site (like stickam).

Maybe they are making updates to stickam and that causes the glitches. I have no intention to sign up at Google+ or any other additional social network.
I don't think you can measure the amount of interest with the numbers of replies to this thread. I would even say, the longer this vague theoretical thread goes on, the less interest will be left for the regular visitors of this forum, because it kind of kills the necessary "yeah let's do this" mood at some point.
Also, the interest depends on the theme, the time and the prizes really. I think it's great that you want to kick of a contest, so I really hope you understand that I don't want to be negative about it. It's just stuff you should keep in mind.
If you really need more advice or want to talk about some things that you are unsure about, I'd recommend talking to one of the users who offered to help you already. J-qb would be a good choice, because I am sure he can estimate how well some of your theme ideas could do. IN ANY CASE you will need mod approval for a contest, so there is no around pm'ing one of them once you have the details down.
Good luck!

Not correct either.
What I wanted to say when I said it fits into your palm is, that it's usually small enough that you can close your hand around it.

Good thinking, glare means reflective material (like a clasp). But it's not correct.
Hint: It fits in the palm of your hand.

I assume when you use a filter in Photoshop on a certain layer for a selected area, that the area stays selected afterwards. So you could just filter one layer, switch to the next layer, repeat the action and so on. At least that's how it works with Gimp.
In short; I found a site that sells tshirts with stolen designs (confirmed)... now what?
Depends, is the site owner the "thief" or is it a site where users upload their designs and some of those are stolen designs?
If you know the original creators, you could inform them and let them decide what they wanna do. If it's user uploaded content you could inform the site owner, if possible. If it is NG related content, you could ask the mods or staff for advice. I am sure they can point you in the right direction.
Hooray! We've got our first finished game!
That leaves us with these 3:
http://drawception.com/play/0uouPUYPV3mPR-Zc6h1PPne-J3cfekwU kpaWd68prAA/ (11 of 12)
http://drawception.com/play/wt7ix1ak9DFO3KPi9dt_0t89_TIbH8od Z_OT4kg9mYE/ (3 of 6)
http://drawception.com/play/jHa_W0nl0avCffSWVXroQ441lcFur7bU R0mDJ69vmBw/ (3 of 6)
Can't access stickam at the moment. Is it just me?
Good news everyone, our first (12 panel) game is almost done.
In the meantime we have learned that it's too early to go for 12 panels. We would need more users to get them done faster.
So I decided to start three 6 panel games. That way different users get the chance to both draw and describe.
Feel free to start a game too, there should just not be too many. Let's say 6 games max.
Here we go:

Kind of like the things around the edges of this.
Nah, it's not a frame part again.
Even if I had ever planned to post the same object twice in a row, you people would pretty much have killed that idea by now. You're too smart for that it seems. lol

Yes exactly, it's the back of a so called "clip frame".

Well you said skin cream "bottle". That was the important part, that package is not a bottle. Sorry again, but I did say it's not a bottle before already, otherwise I would not have been as nitpicky. I hope you can forgive me some bright day. :'(

Nope, no belt buckle. "Clip" was good before already. :)

I think we are going to have more of these in the future, so I am sure you will have a chance to draw a panel or two with tablet too. :)

Just look at that score! That's not my fault! Tony Dark-Grave is assaulting my art! How do I report someone for abuse? I know it's him who's doing this, and it's not fucking fair!
After you deleted your pic it stays in your deleted art section for a while and after some days it drops out of there too and is completely gone from your profile.
But you are not supposed to re-submit your pics unless you have made major changes to them.
What will stop the user you are accusing to zero--bomb your re-submission then? Instead you should uncheck your pic from being public, so he can't vote on it anymore, if it is really him.

You gotta check the link every now and then to see if someone else is playing at the moment. If noone is already at it, you get a description to draw or a drawing to describe.
Hello everyone,
this thread is for sharing the links of private (friend) games on Drawception.
I am aware that there is a thread in the general forum, but it doesn't look all that active. And in either case, it's good to have one here in the art forum as well.
I'll try to keep track of which games are finished and which are still running, but please try to check the last few links that have been posted before you start a new game.
And by all means, please don't post the current theme or a pic of your drawing in here, because it would spoil the fun for the others. If you don't like a description, just exit the game and let someone else try instead.
Let's start with our first game:

Contributed to them, in case anybody wants to continue.
Alright, now it's getting tricky. We have some close guesses here.
At 7/14/12 01:54 AM, big-jonny-13 wrote: Toothpaste tube?
So close and yet not right. It is a kind of tube, but (especially) toothpaste tubes look pretty different from the object in the pic.
At 7/14/12 06:12 AM, Generations1st wrote: Green tooth paste? unless it's Slimer toothpaste from ghostbusters
Well.........I'm going to steal your thunder and go with
Top of bathroom accessories such as the top of a skin cream bottle..
hmmm even that doesn't add up.... green cream..
Even closer, but I already said it's not a bottle. And by the way, just because the object is green, doesn't mean that its content must be green as well.
At 7/14/12 07:29 AM, J-qb wrote: I'd say a tube of hairgel rather than toothpaste...
Yes, this is it. I can't expect you to know what is in the tube, but this is the correct kind of tube. In this case it was a hand cream tube (so I feel extra sorry for Generations1st, whose guess was pretty close). I hope you agree that identifying the kind of object is more important than guessing what is inside. :P
----------------------------
Anyway, more puzzling:
No correct guesses yet unfortunately.
Hint: You would find it in the bathroom.

Yes that's the problem. You only have 1 piece of art submitted. You would need at least four pieces of art to have A CHANCE to get scouted.
More info in this handy dandy guide.
And by the way, there is a info box about this when you submit your art:
