That's something that has been asked for for the art portal endless times before. Is it possible to add that feature there too? The current "unscouted section" is kinda buggy at times and that way unscouted artists could actually browse the section and recommend others properly. At the moment this only happens if they happen to stumble upon someone's art who is not already scouted.

Please?

Yes, it is the bridge of a violin. The bright glow slighty on the right of the middle is a string that is reflecting the flashlight, on the bottom you see the wood of the actual violin and in the top part you see the brighter brown wood of the bridge and its holes.

Its an old object used since the 15hunderds
not edible

You are usually holding it in your hand when you are using it. If you are using it.
It's larger than a regular bottle and smaller than a TV.

somekind of instrument (horn, flute, violin, small guitar (ukulele) )

if not then:

somekind of ship compass (the one you line up with the stars)
somekind of wooden (beer) mug
somekind of weapon (a club?)
somekind of kitchen article (old salt/pepper/herb dispenser)

Well as much as I appreciated that you like to guess and you're "in need for a new pic", but I think I should re-post rule number 5 as a little reminder:

5) Spam guessing is not allowed, posting an endless list of possible objects kinda ruins the fun for everyone.

You could have stuck with your first (broad) guess in this latest post, since it is some kind of instrument.

To be more precise it's a part you'd find on a violin, but also on other instruments.

So far everybody more or less followed the rule and only posted one, two or sometimes three guesses at once and I didn't feel like I had to enforce a rule on that, but now I have to or it would be ridiculously unfair for the other users.

So if you or anybody else can tell me the PART of the violin that is actually seen on the pic, you or that other possible user will get the point. And yes, it has it's own commonly known name.

Sorry Tomsan, but maybe you can still solve it.

Response to: Newgrounds Art Book - Discussion Posted September 10th, 2012 in Art

I think it should by all means include "old" art, the point would be to showcase some of the best stuff from NG not some of the best from the content specifically created for the book, by those artists who happened to check out a contest thread. And if a contest has a decent turnout these days there are... what, 60 entries? There'd be hardly enough "to pick" for a book.

I think having some current highlights and some new stuff combined is a really good idea. Actually it would be great to have some outstanding drawings from every year since the art portal has been implemented.

I am not so sure about this anymore. Sure, you can't go wrong with a Wacom generally, but you hear a lot of good stuff about Monoprice tablets these days. Especially this article as explained here by Wivernryder who seems to be very satisfied with the one he ordered.
