it doesn't look like it lol
Correct.

AAAAlright, you should stop focusing on the refridgerator part. That hint was meant to make clear that it has something to do with groceries that you store in it.... and that have a bright yellow (almost white) plastic "packaging" of some sort.
At 9/24/12 09:00 PM, Kashi wrote: Is it a printer? O_o
You put a printer in you fridge?
At 9/24/12 09:06 PM, big-jonny-13 wrote: The plastic holder for butter or eggs?
It's not something that's built into the fridge or comes with it. It's something you probably keep in the fridge.
At 9/24/12 08:36 PM, Tomsan wrote:No it's not a refrigerator.oh the small freezer compartement?
But it's probably in it. DUN DUN DUN!
No, it's not a part of the refrigerator at all.
At 9/24/12 08:39 PM, big-jonny-13 wrote: A water jug or plastic container?
Jug is wrong and if you mean something like Tupperware when you say plastic container, then it's wrong too.
It is a however made of plastic and contains something else. You probably wouldn't call it container though.
At 9/24/12 08:08 PM, Tomsan wrote: a refrigerator?
mine is largely plastic
No it's not a refrigerator.
But it's probably in it. DUN DUN DUN!

No, but it is made of plastic.

While it's not a bottle, it is soda indeed!

A) Users who does not frequent the art forum could have found their art in the unscouted section and offered to scout them
B) They get scouted by their buddies
C) Users scout them without caring if they asked for it or not. Just to have more scoutees.
But yeah PMing scouted artist is not allowed it seems, doesnt surprise me. Or are you being the very strict mod you are toas?
Why you decided to derail this thread is beyond me.

how come my art doesn't have a score or anything like that? I see it says "this artist has not yet been scouted". What does this mean? Thanks.
ZJ covered some of the basics already. You need at least 4 pieces of art to be scouted and you have to check the box "This is not a sketch. Please include it in the art portal" for all of them when submitting.
I personally think this guide is the best explanation you can get:

Good luck!
At 9/24/12 06:35 PM, ZJ wrote: So, if I was you, I'd submit a few more pieces and then possibly PM a scouted artist to see if they'll scout you. Don't be annoying about it, though.
Actually I would advise against writing anybody a PM asking to be scouted, as it usually hurts your chances. It's something else if you know the user personally or generally ask for advice rather than just asking him to scout you.

Well I wouldn't make you guess if it was just a button to close your pants or jacket.
It goes by a completely different name, but is incredibly more commonly called "that button on .....". Do the lines around the button give you an idea? Probably?
Sorry for the long wait.
Just guess where that button is on. Tomsan explicitly excluded clothing, which was wrong.
At 9/21/12 07:37 PM, Tomsan wrote: a button like on a couch, not really on clothing, more like a pin button.
Very close, but not correct. You can either tell me what kind of item the button is on or find out it's (hardly known) name. Either will be accepted.
btw I used google translate for "geodriehoek" (geotriangle) it came back with protractor
Yeah, don't worry it's all good. Our geometry triangle is not used in North America it seems, so protractor is more than appropriate as solution.

Thanks or the background info, but I was actually referring to this:

When I said I wasn't sure about the text, I considered "History in the making since 20 years. Support us!" or something.

At 9/20/12 07:26 PM, big-jonny-13 wrote: Not really.
A rule measures distances in straight lines.
A protractor measures the degree of angles, and is generally round.
Yeah Jonny, you are right about the difference between ruler and protractor, but I am almost sure Tomsan meant, the item on the pic is kinda the same as a protractor but didn't find a proper english word for it.
Unfortunately this is another object not common in North America which I never ever even considered.
It's a "triangle" or piece of a "set square". But ours has half a protractor integrated in the triangle.
So I gotta accept protractor. Since that's the part of it that you can see on the pic.
Damn I was already so paranoid about double checking if stuff is known in America and still I messed this up.

Thanks for clarifying that. That means 700px total with 300px for the building and 200px on each side. It's easier if everybody gets clear instructions and numbers, right? ;)
Anyway, thanks for your feedback, you know, you could join...
I will definitely try to make something for it.
No correct guess yet.
It's made of plastic and it has neither moving parts nor uses electricity.
At 9/20/12 04:43 PM, Decky wrote: I like how even the colour of the building has been copied.
Nah come on, let's don't be silly. If you think of a skyscraper you initially think of a grey concrete building. That's not copying, that's just not very original.
At 9/20/12 05:09 PM, CrazyRock wrote: Anyway, is anyone on here willing to do this?
I would love to have another collab in the art forum. I like the idea, but I am not sure if you really thought out everything. Are you going to do the flash? Your template isn't telling me all that much. All I see is a solid grey color. Optimally your template should have grey in the place where the building should be and another color (blue?) "outside" of that. That way you would also determine the total width of the flash. I mean how can we draw outside of the template if we don't know how much space is there "outside"?
Good luck anyways.

No correct guess yet, but yeah you all identified some sort of measuring dial / scale and there is really something like that. It doesn't let you measure weight or volume though.
It has nothing to do with cars and it's not a compass.
What made you think it's a speed-o-meter or a compass? The answer to this may or may not serve as a hint for you.
