It's not that bad. It does look like a ms paint job. But you got some good shapes and the writing looks fairly good. But you should crop out that little fellow getting shot. He ruins the whole thing if you ask me.

There are memes in all types of crafts. The reason why manga is so hated among alot of artist is because it is so popular. Basicly what it is about is that all those 13-year old wannabe artists take up space. And then we artists get all sour because we can't have our artist-ego's boosted 500 times everytime we post a picture, since the art portals all over the internet are drowning in in pictures made by people with no real ambition of create anything with any substance.
And then what have we got left? What do we get for all the time we spend on our craft? Well it isn't for the money right? Does it get you the chicks (well, it worked for DiCaprio in Titanic, but you know)? The problem is that that little high you get when you post your pictures and somebody praises you it is addicting. And spammers makes it harder to get your fix :S

First off. I would not scout a bad artist. That being said, it is not really a hard question. I am the proud scouter of Laserkarl. And he is one of the badest digi-painters on NG for sure. There you have it.

I think acrylic is more toxic acctually. I don't know about the colour pigments, but the oil is not toxic. It is the paint thinner that is the problem. But off course without it then it might be a bit hard to squirt out the paint. It would more like taking a dump.. But it still beats haveing your insides laminated with plastic I think :P
