America calls itself a "Christian Nation" and puts "one nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance(among other examples). Yet, when was the last time you went to church? American Protestantism is weird and close-minded. Preachers persecute gays, bash on women's right to choose, and denies Evolution simply by pointing to the Bible. The Catholic Church may have similar views, yet we make the connection between faith and Reason. Every believer should accept Human Intelligence and Morals, and not just blindly point to a passage in the Bible. American protestants scare people away from God and his message of peace.

Of course I will defend my rights under the 1st Amendment, but freedom of speech can be very dangerous under an unsupervised child. We need a father or mother figure to be at home. It should be almost illegal for two parents to be working at the same time if they have a child.

What about the unfortunate families that have both parents working hard to earn their bread? make it illegal? no, just because the parents aernt home for a certain part of the day, as long as they raise their children properly for the time they ARE home, the kids will turn out fine.

Our government needs to ensure that parents understand the importance of more quality time with their children. Otherwise, don't expect the shootings to stop.
