Don't I know you from somewhere Hybrid-Rebirth?

Response to: flash java menu Posted November 28th, 2004 in Game Development

You don't need java to make that. You can add a movie clip on the over function of the button showing the button droping down. Search for menu in Flashkit nd you'll find these types of menus. OR go to dynamicdrive.com and you'll find these kinds of menus made ONLY with java. Note: dynamicdrive is like flashkit only it has java stuff to browse

Tell me what you think! Posted November 27th, 2004 in Game Development

www.luckydesign.tk
It's a quick site I made but then again I'm a much better animator than web-designer. So... Do you like it? I've already done the new design for the page but It is made from the default Dreamweaver css templates so before I upload it I want to ask.. Should that s site stay? Or should I upload the new one (based on templates)?

I do that! :D
But it doesn't always work. But if you go to publish settings and under flash set it to actionscript 1.0 it will work :D

(NOTE: This movie is UNFINISHED, and there is no sound yet.)

Honestly I'd give it a 2 because the text ran too quickly, and the spites looked badly but if there's a good storyline and you fixed these spites and text I'd give it a 4

That web-site's funny and you need to know only basic actionscript to make it. 3 Thumbs up to the creator :D

go to the layer with the music and on the properties bar make the effect "fade out" also make a keyframe on the last frame and add the actons:
stopAllSounds();
Is that all?

Response to: What tutorials do you want??? Posted November 25th, 2004 in Game Development

A TUTORIAL ON ADVANCED DRAWING! Not like these stupid ones at newgrounds where you learn to make stupid faces (and they suck) but a tutorial on how to make a whole cartoon body + a backgound making one. I'd tell everyone I know to vote 5! :D

Response to: Using Movies in flash Posted November 25th, 2004 in Game Development

i really didn't understand what you're question is. You can import wav, mpr, mov, avi, gif, jpeg... You should make a movie clip and import it in to the stage then click on edit multiple frames if it's 100 gifs to edit all of them at once. NOTE if you iport a gif saying clay_1 it will ask you to import all of the pictures so it's pretty easy to import.

No he doesn't! You have to pay for those! He just makes a very basic tutorial and the only shape he changed was to make a mouth! Oh and he liked my work and posted it on cartoonsmarter.com :D. But still for the nice tutorials you have to pay

Response to: How do you Fuse colors? Posted November 24th, 2004 in Game Development

COLOR MIXER! SHIFT + F9. There try... Linear and you'll probabl y see 2 arrows on a color bar. click on the arrows and choose the color above. Then move the arrows to set where in the shape the color's going to be. and you can also add new colors by clicking on the color line which will create a new arrow for you to chose the collor. Anything else?

That looks A LOT like a tutorial. Especially the map editor

Response to: Actionscript codes here! Posted November 23rd, 2004 in Game Development

no they're rotaded that's the problem. they have like a box in which they're in -the mc. because they take a little space but because the mc has to be squear there's a lot of empty space which would be activated on the hit test. AND ... imagine there's a border like that \ and a squear the squear has to rotate to have 2 of his sides exactly on the border. But in flash even if it rotates after that ... well JUST Copy the link, open a new window , paste the link and see!
