Well I preffer Conte simply because of its range, the fact that it doesnt smear away as easily and the blacks it gets are a lot more black than the grey black charcoal sticks have . Now there's a rebuttal on each of these points i'm sure, but having used primarily conte on the last few years and charcoal before it i simply feel for my purposes of life drawing, planar analysis, model drawing(as in building up the tones slowly like a 3d object) and for the sake off not using spray afterwords conte is wayyyy better than charcoal ever has been. It's only down side is that Black Conte is a lot more expensive, Conte Pencils are amazing as well but again they're super expensive so i rarely use them these days.
Charcoal is a light, easily breakable, less fun to play with material. FOR ME. I may not have as much practise with it, i only used it for 2 years during life drawing, but it's pretty boring for me and i got really annoyed that it could get proper black black tones. That said Conte gets boring too, using ink , goach(e?), pastel etc for life drawing is also really fun and i love experimenting with more mediums. Ok i rambled on way too long about this.
At the end of the day, personal choice.

charcoal's rubbish most of the time , i prefer Conte. It doesnt get ruined as easily and makes blacker blacks
Also I love the pentel mechanical pencils, mine does a line as soft as a 4b and under a good angle also does 2h linework. It really does depend on the person though

half his hat's missing D: Really nice tones, really like the color schemes you pick, though im wondering if you can put up sketches more you seem to be a lot better at the painting aspect than at the solidity of the original drawing. Keep posting the paintings too though, love the first pic on the page's detail!

I've been creating art for a long time, and the past year have reached the point to where I believe people might enjoy my work. I'm not looking to do any commission at this moment, I'm currently working on a project, and will be busy with it for a couple of months. Here is a link to my DeviantArt page; http://chasecraft11.deviantart.com/
. symmetry versus asymmetry. Objects or characters depicted in perfect symmetrical poses often look boring, stiff and lacking life. In real life not all your body parts match each other's actions when moving unless you specially try to do a symmetrical pose.
tldr having a mirrored looking image makes it boring
muscle placement, the biceps are placed in the the wrong place slightly which makes the entire upper chest area really off, the hands are also slightly shorter than usual which also makes it kind of off-putting
those knife things look completely flat and like paper cutouts, nothing within them indicates dimention
turn them , put them in perspective more and dont have them perfectly symetrical
But I do hope you follow my future work
I also agree with everything Kinsei said and that music was the most annoying thing i've ever heard, the character designs looked pretty rubbish too. And with that obnoxious video i will unfortunately not be following anything you ever make unless you scrap the whole thing and work on art fundamentals.

I dont think anyone on the planet thinks of anything else but wacom when they think of tablets, weather here or overseas they supply 95% of drawing tablets in any electronics shop i've walked into. So anyone with common sence would get one, but not everyone wants or can afford most of their tablets and would like a average user review hence her original question you didn't answer.

It's basicly whatever you can afford right now thats what you should use. There's nothing wrong with small tablets. I wouldnt reccoment bamboo though. However some people like them, i hate the pressure sensitivity (or lack of it) on them. The intious 4 , 9 by 12 is the best one i think unless you wanna get a cintique

Lmao, sensitive angry internet types.
not really, its just pointless starting a thread like this since its not an advertising board. It's full of artists, you'd put your work on here more for improvement help. Your thread is more what you'd see in a classifieds , which doesn't fly here because you dont have customers browsing here, you have other 'art providers' if you will.

thought you didn't actually teach anything apart from just saying to practice drawing in general when he had specific questions which actually have answers apart from practice without thinking about what you're doing hoping you'll learn them along the way. so good job on that
