Hell yeah i am! Some examples of work
If you're keen you can drop me a mail
Cheers!
Oh, and the format of the comic will be traditional, like the kind that you see in Marvel and DC comics, not like the block comics in the newspaper. This is pretty important.
Thanks again.
And what sort of payment are you going to give to the artist?

I am however worried that you care more about portraying a style than rendering something in a simple yet accurate manner as many of your characters have broken or malformed bodies. It looks like you draw these things very fast, perhaps slow down a bit? I would like to see things stick out as convincingly solid and consistent in form and have the life you give your creations.
I dont realy draw them that fast, but thanks for the artschool style feedback. At this point if i can tell a story improvement and solidity comes slowly but surely and thats how i've felt these past 11 week of doing the comic in which ive consciously or subconsciously been consistently learning more and more. Appreciate the feedback tho
yeah wow, you have great style man!
Cheers bro@

Actually I study alot of burne hogarth, i think his books on anatomy are awsome, but shes ripped because I need to understand where muscles are and what they do.
i figured you did from the other studies, his books can be good but he over muscles everything which is especially disturbing when he draws women. I'd suggest studying Bridgman on life drawing instead

Try not to use gradients, it instantly makes any drawing unappealing to me
Especially those leg gradients which don't add to the drawing as well as the hair which instantly make it look flat.
On the top one the hair's gradient fits more due to the fact that it matches the light source though a bit off. I really like that hand too
"Try posting your work on our Art Forums in the meantime to gain feedback and publicize yourself. etc
sure pm tom or wade about that suggestion

Is it just me...or do you have to be just way too talented on NG to get anywhere when it comes to artwork standards?
On deviantART, for example...I used to feel like, eh my art's pretty sub-par, but people gave me helpful feedback & it
helped me improve quite a lot. Here, on the other hand, it seems like a pretty steep hill by comparison.
It's either just not exactly a very helpful community or a MUCH, MUCH less tolerant one. It really seems very unfair.
An amateur artist on deviantART can get started, get pointers, and get better at what they do, but here...no so. :/
and i always felt on DA no one comments on your work unless you're doing fanart and feels like a graveyard a lot of the times , different experiences i guess. I do find the art forum a lot more encouraging then just submiting my stuff on DA, at least i get actual comments here

So then what, just throw the new people under the bus like it currently is set up? I think it needs to be explained better because although I'm new here, I've already seen several people asking how to be scouted/if someone could scout them.
And those are artists who don't have patience, just wait you'll be scouted if you deserve it.
You dont need to have polished work to be scouted, well at least i dont judge it that way. If someone's basic work shows fundamental drawing principles, effort and isn't stick figures i scout them.
:They don't really know what's going on, and neither did I. If I had known that it basically an audition process I wouldn't have put up my best work straight from the get go. :|
So go make some more "best" work now and submit it :|

I really like the transition you used between panels 15 and 16. It really helps maintain the flow the the comic, but also gives the reader a sense of time having passed between the two frames.
Thanks dude! I made a booboo this week , the newest comic didnt get published due to scheduling it in NZ time(IN THE FUTURE!) There should be a new strip up now
