I think it'd be a fantastic movie! Haven't you seen their latests? I mean given, The 6th sense was a little cheesy, cliche, and overrated, but man The Happening has got to be the best movie I've ever seen!

An elders memories of war. Posted July 22nd, 2010 in Writing

The old man looked up, eyes glazed, surveying the field.
He saw what was, and he saw what is, both contradicting.
He thought the past, the trenches, the barb wire, even heard the mortars.
He gazed at the now, the grass, the trees, the sky, smokeless.

As a shock to him, a hand slipped on his shoulder.
The man turned around, a man in a black suit, standing 6 feet.
With a raspy throat the old man murmered: "Hello, do I know you?"
The man in the black suit simply nodded his head, no.

The old man questioned, "Well, who are you?"
The man in the black suit said nothing, and stood there.
Poutingly, the old man said "Gosh darnit, I can't have a conversation if you don't say anything."
The man with the black suit simply straightened his tie.

The old man looked at him again, "I'm sure I don't know you, so what do you want?"
The business looking man stood there still, stoic.
"Do I owe you somethin? Are you from the goverenment? I paid my time in these fields!"
Mortar sounds still ring the old mans head, the black suited man stood still.

Suddenly, with no warning, the business man pointed up, towards a tree.
The old man, turned, looked, and saw that the tree once whole, was now split in half.
"Golly be, that was fine just a minute ago, what in tarnation did you do?"
The business man, Motionless this time - Nothing to indicate acknowledgement, Stood.

2 Minutes passed, when the old man turned to his right, and saw his best friend.
"Davy! By golly, when'd you get here?! You haven't aged a bit!"
Davy shouted, as if the old man couldn't hear: "LOOK AT ME, DON'T LOOK AWAY! Sta wf mh"
Davy's final words fading away, as he suddenly dissappeared, exploded into air.

The old man, chilled by the events, turned to see the business man in the suit.
The man, still stood, staring at where the tree was, this time pointing again.
The old man flipped around, to see the tree, split, and burning.
The tree glowing brighter then the rest of the field, shining brighter then anything else.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHFfffmmmmm" A yell muffled right next to the old man, he looked over.
There was his old comrade laying legs chopped off, with a hand held on his mouth.
The old man walked tried to walk over to him, but with every step, he didn't move one bit.
"I'm coming son, don't worry! I'll save you!" The old man tried to blurt out.

As he did, the young man simply faded into the ground, dissappearing.
"TARNATION! What is this place? Have I gone mad? WHO ARE YOU!" Turning towards the business man.
The man in the suit said nothing, and with a subtle movement, turned his head to the old man.
The suited man, extendened his wrist, showing a timer that had gone off, and slowly stated:

"I am Death."

So tell me, did you see it coming? Honestly?

Kudos for you not following the band-wagon. I am the same, however, she was the only female I could think of that I could say that everyone would know of without a doubt.

Would you do Megan Fox? Posted July 20th, 2010 in General

Yes yes, I know every straight male's answer on here is yes, but here's the catch:

You have to do her in a threesome with another male, and the other male has to be your father.

Discuss.

Look at that score.

Just goes to show you, that no matter how much makeup, how much cgi, how many "hot dudes" you put in a movie that is shit. It still will be shit.

Also, pic related.

Edward is cooler, but Jacob is more safe. I'd go with Jacob :3

I'm extremely envious of your collection. Ours (Father and mine) is nowhere near that impressive.

Nice stuff man. Haha. Also, it depends on what religion they are, but most religion has some sort of violence in whatever book it is, and they are going far past their boundaries to tell you you can't have them.

Personally, I'd start flaunting them around. Haha.

Multi-Effect Guitar Processors Posted May 7th, 2010 in Audio

So I know there is a small base of guitar users here on newgrounds, but one that knows much, and hasn't lead me astray yet.

So, here's my most recent question for you:

What're some of the better multi-effect processors. Preferably lower price, I've not got much of a spending platform. However, I think I can get near 400$ for this.

Anyways, What's your thoughts?

Response to: Custom guitar Tabs Posted May 2nd, 2010 in Audio

But also very nice tabs. Very epic.

Response to: Custom guitar Tabs Posted May 2nd, 2010 in Audio

Thanks man!

I wish more people would contribute :C

Oh well, here's some more that I came up with when I first started:

e|-----2-----2-------2---2---2----2
B|---3--3--3--3---3--3----3---3---
G|--------0--------------------------
D|-0-------------0-------------------

Do that twice, and then end the second with:

e|-----5---3---2---

Hopefully you catch what I'm saying.

What that guy said ^. Paste it into notepad with those fonts.

Newgrounds is horridly mean to tabs. I like the way that sounds man.

Response to: Custom guitar Tabs Posted May 1st, 2010 in Audio

Crap, those tabs got screwed up. Here's a better version (I think)

D|----0------0--------0-----------------
A|--2--2--0---0---0---0----0----------
E|-0-----3-------2--------3-----3---2--

Custom guitar Tabs Posted May 1st, 2010 in Audio

Hello there fellow guitarist (Or atleast someone interested in the title).

Today while I was laying down a couple riffs, I got the idea: I want to know other people's styles. So, therefore I am making this thread.

What is it's purpose:

To give simplistic ideas of what riffs you've come up with yourself. (That is, if you're willing to share.) Simply state the tuning, and the style (Metal, Rock, Blues, etc.), and then something as simple as:

D|----0------0--------0-----------------
--
A|--2--2--0---0---0---0----0-----------
E|-0-----3-------2--------3-----3---2---
-

(I only used the strings that were played) Also, it's played in acoustic, or a jazz style.

So yeah, I know it will take a bit of time to put out the tabs, but I, along with many others, would definitely appreciate them.

So what say you? Are you willing to contribute?

Response to: Things you hate about making music Posted March 31st, 2010 in Audio

Biggest pet peeve of all music making:

I'll spend 5 hours on a piece, and it'll sound okay. So I'll spend another 5 hours fixing it up, sounds better, but still not as I would like. I spend another 5 trimming it just to my likings.

Upload it, and then it gets raped because "I didn't like the specific note at blah blah blah, and the blah blah blah sounds bad." It gets utterly raped, because people put aside actually judging composition, and effort, and judge it all by preference.

Then, after having my dreams shattered by some loud mouth who thinks he knows everything about music, I go on the audio page to find some soothing music, and all that's on the top 30 is damn midi files getting more praise then someone like Xenogenocide, or Maestro Rage, or Reasoner. Quite honestly, midi files shouldn't be "Original music"

TL;DR version: Everything here is based off personal opinion, therefore destroying all rating, and midi files aren't original work.

Damn noobs.

You've all been trollllllllllled. :o

Comon, newgrounds hates runescape... You can't seriously expect me to say it's the best game ever here?

I will admit at one point in time I did play it...

Runescapeh? Posted March 7th, 2010 in Video Games

I must say, out of every game I've ever played. Runescape has got to rank among the top 3. Yes. You heard me right, runescape is an EXCELLENT game.

Each month they update for members 2 - 4 times, which when you think about it, bonus content for 5$ a month isn't a bad deal. Heck, bonus content on xbl costs 10 - 20$, and that's not on top of the 5$ a month for live.

I'm just saying runescape is a great game.

So what if 2 years ago, when I started posting, the audio portal was this flawed (Which I don't remember it to be at all.) The more and more this portal gets degraded, the less and less original posters we'll have.

Even worse yet: We'll stop getting as many newer posters. I see it all the time, people post their first entry, and have it get 0-bombed with maybe a review that says something along the line of it sucks.

Off topicness, I know, sorry, I've got a habit for doing that. My point is, if you don't try to start fixing it somewhere, it Won't be fixed, and it will break.
