Like, la would go to porta, chitarra, lavagna and whatever, and il would il would go banco, pavimento, corridoio, and all that.
I know l' goes to nouns that start with vowels, and lo goes to words that start with z/s + a consonant, but what are the qualifiers or whatever for il and la?
