Most of the fun in the game for me comes from the shaman's actions and his quirky solutions to the levels. Sure there's idiot shamen every now and then but that's all part of the game!

As an owner of an iTouch I can ALREADY text over WiFi, it was always like that, you just need the free app.

First of all I want to say that this is not " MAC IZ BETTA THAN PC" Or visa versa.

I've been reading a book called "Inside Steve's Brain" and it really is interesting. Theres a few things I've learned about Steve Jobs in this book. Also, I would like to point out that I am not insulting Steve Jobs either, he must be doing SOMETHING right.

1. He believes the public are all "bozo's" and do not know what they want.
2. He's and asshole.
3. Not a very good boss, he micromanages people which if you have ever been in a working environment, you know this is bad.
4. He's a marketing genius.
5. Extremely competitive.

But #5 brings up a point that anyone competing in this business must be. And the thought occurred to me, could I ever be this competitive? And when I say competitive I mean it, like firing your own mother would be the easiest of things.

Could you be this competitive?

Anyone have any input on this?

I am fairly sure there is no "Best" platform engine, and have come across NONE that use slope. If you want to code these things I recommend you check out some tutorials.

Even if there was an engine like this, I doubt you could use it or change it to your needs unless you have a basic knowledge of flash.

Hey all, I've had some extensive work in AS2 and made the switch to AS3 recently. In AS2 in beginning projects, I used V-Cam for side scrolling. I learned it lags (a lot) as well as other issues using slope.

I used the stage in a movieclip for awhile but realized this had many problems too, but I lived with it. But now I'm in AS3 and hopefully there is a better way of thinking with classes and such, has anyone made a better method?

Also yes I know how to use classes and most functions, so not a complete noob.
