Even Totse's information has been challenged for time to time. Often by itself. But, at least it's easy to make napalm.
Am I the only who thought this when I saw this background?

In that case... we can look forward to "Half Life: and Uwe Boll film."
Thanks a bunch time and space!
Not if there is a god.
And common sense.
Starting tonight... people will die!

Mine too. The Running Man is another great one, NOTHING like the movie. Funny that his best books were the ones he wrote under a pseudonym (Richard Bachman).
After suing Norton, Microsoft will then take legal action against circles.

Oh god... it burns! Seriously, that movie left me insulted, and I'm not even a big Final Fantasy fan!

Talk about irony.
I think that's my fate. I too believe myself to be a lesbian trapped in a man's body.
If I were a girl... I'd be a lesbian. =D
It's not so much a "rip-off." It's the the style and the content are similar to 300, and leads one to believe the marketing managers wanted to cash in on the success of the other movie.
Besides. Let's be honest. "I AM BEOWULF!!!" does sound suspiciously close to "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"
I saw the trailer for Beowulf and thought "Yep... it was only a matter of time before someone else tried to cash in on 300."
Oh Frank Miller! What have you done!

I've never seen Ken Park. Is it any good...?
Bah... figures. I liked 300 simply because I'm a big Frank Miller fan, but it's obvious they're just trying to cash in.
"I AM BEOWULF!!!" does sound a bit too much like "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"

You just quoted mc chris...
Thank you.
Word on the web is they're remaking Escape from New York. And the word is the not good.
While I can dig the proposed casting of Gerald "This is SPARTA!!!" Butler as Snake Plissken... it's the director that pisses me off.
Word is Brett Ratner is set to direct it, replacing Underworld/Live Free or Die Hard director Len Wiseman. The man who actually included the line "I'm the Juggernaut bitch!" in X-Men: The Last Stand is going to be in charge!
Read and weep.
This is worse than the proposed Warriors remake.
I say he did it. But the 80s business world kept him from being held accountable for the killing.
American Psycho and Fight Club are basically the same movies in my mind. Guy is the epitome of what the decade asks him to be. Being said epitome drives him insane. He goes on a violent rampage. And then he gets away with it.
Maybe that's why both movies kick ass. =D

Besides, she was introduced into the comic continuity.
I take no particular issue with them using Harley, she's probably one of the best villains, and easily the best to be created in the past ten years. But that doesn't change the overall feel of the book.
Best sign I have ever seen...
"Family was killed by ninjas. Need money for kung-fu lessons."

I concur.
Anybody else been reading this comic? Namely the latest story arc about how The Joker became the The Joker?
It's... it's no Killing Joke... to say the least.
The dialog is awkward, the art makes my eyes hurt, the plotting is lazy, the characters are under developed, and to be perfectly honest... it reads like it was written by someone who's only familiarity with the characters is from the movies. Maybe the show too, since Harley Quinn shows up briefly.
Which is really sad, because there was a lot I liked about it. Especially when pre-Joker is lecturing thugs about how their torturing him incorrectly. But unfortunately, that's pretty much the height of character development. Anything that might explain why a person would become a brutal psychopath is only mentioned in passing, if at all.
And then there's the batarang scene... I didn't much care for the batarang scene.
I'm not demanding it be The Killing Joke, and to be perfectly honest... as much as I adore that comic, I'd rather it not be. But the whole thing feels rushed. TKJ had more character development in 3 pages than this has in 4 issues. Not to mention some of the best art work in comics to this day. If you're going to follow it, don't phone it in.
I always do. Especially since the cops around here supposedly tend to go hobo hunting at night. One guy I gave money to had part of his chest caved in from a nightstick.
That sucks...
He heard he was sick, but yeah... sucks.
