I actually saw yourbthread on that and thought it was pretty cool. Main problem I really find with people and tattoos is they think try know what is best for the world and fail to realize people can actually get something seen everyday, on their skin, and understand it still had a good deal of meaning to that person.

I'll still be looking forbsomeon to draw it, here or not.. Hopefully someone will just see it as something I'd like for my birthday, and be able to look past the whole 'knowing what's best for me' bs.

Safemode isn't helpful, and I can't run any anti virus programs at all.. the computer didn't have any on it but an expired one, and as I've said.. everytime I try to add a new one, of any liking, it won't function without first being able to connect to the internet, something it is unable to do.

Well, as I said, it's not my computer, so I'm not too sure what all has been downloaded on it, and the such.. it might just be time that I backup everything and go from there.. been searching for a solution for this problem, only to find that I am not the only one with it, but the others I've found have all just broken down and reformatted their computer..

Well the problem with this is that most programs are paired with a site and will check it upon starting, to see if there is an update or anything of the sort for it.. this is an issue for me since the computer will not allow the programs to access the web at all.

If I could even find a way around that simple matter, I could do the rest myself, but I have yet to figure out a way to make this work.

Alright, I know there are a few threads on this in the C&C section, but I am in need of help now, and honestly would rather not spend the whole night refreshing a page for something I could potentially find here within minutes.

Now let's get into the problems I am facing, and let me say this, I am not a tard when it comes to computers, I will NOT delete my system 32 folder, or anything of that sort.. with that being said.

The OS is Vista 32bit, current problems are as follows..

The machine seems to be infected with some virus/malware/ or potentially both.. Now this would be a simple fix but I am unable to get the computer to allow programs to update, or even connect, to their respective sites when I run them.

Take for example, I tried a few anti virus programs, they install, but when they go to update or retrieve files from the internet.. it's to no prevail and I am back at square one, having something that could work, but won't.

Tried Hitman Pro, same deal.. couldn't connect to the site, and thus couldn't use..

No program is restricted to my knowledge, I've tried disabling firewalls and the such, with no luck. The only internet browser that works is Safari now, not too sure why Firefox and IE shit the bed, but they did..

Now this is where you come in, anyone know anything I could do to allow these programs to connect to the internet, or why I would have the problem in the first place?

Any advice is appreciated at this point, serious advice that is.. and I know I could always reformat, but the computer is not mine, and well, that would take same serious backing up of files, then scanning each of them, on top of rebooting all the shit, and well.. you get the idea.. it would suck. -.-
