Isolationism never solved anything. It even helped start the Great Depression which sparkled WW2 to an extent. Blinding yourself to the problems of the world, when you're part of the cause, is never a great idea. And as of late, USA is the cause of most problems around the world. Complaining and saying you should go back to an isolationist mentality would be like a kid shaking a bag filled with bees and releasing it into a room full of people before running out of it and locking it. Plus, USA would lose all their violently won foreign "investments".
