You only have 1 submission meaning you have no BA. You need a BA of 3.5 to host a collab. If you are just wanting people to work with you, like follow a script, you could do that/ YOU can not a collab where everybody makes different parts which have nothing to do with a script. Like the collabs on Newgrounds like the Castle Crashers Collab or the Mini Game Collab.

[AS2] V-cam helip with game Posted September 30th, 2009 in Game Development

I am using a v-cam for this game I am programming. I have the health bar and score and all of that at the very left of the level, and I want it to track with the v-cam. What do I do to make it do that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I fixed the left wall. Now to fix the ground. Like when you change it's shape. Haven't had time to fix the motion yet. I think he has that done. Start working on the art Jerrie!

on the button go

on (release) {
gotoAndPlay(number of the frame you want it to go to);
}

Put that on your button and it should work. This is ActionScript2. Is that what you want?

He knows. I am now the programmer of this project. This will be very hard to clean up. Too many onClipEvent handelers and things. I migth have to completly re-program the whole thing to make it easier to change later on!

yes I am good at platformers. I just haven't finished a game fully for newgrounds yet. i have basic engines that I am building on. Yes. We can use those graphics for now, but we will change them later. Just for programming testing. I always find it easier when you have some sort of sprites around to use.

Make the background have a tint of white so the foreground (part the you use and want to see) is clearer and easier too read. If having trouble, ask RubberNinja becasue he is the one who taught me this at his animation class.

Yes it is to do with programming. Playing a sound with actionscript2. But it is CS4. Any help anyone.
Oh.
And your game was very good. But make your text larger, and your graphics look good, but they are very loud. Might want to change them. Also add an instructions menu there.
