That's Adoozy Falsch so far. Click the "Add It" button to add a smiley face, then press "record" and drag the movieclip(s) you spawned around the stage. When it reaches frame 300, press "First Frame" and then "Play" to see your creation.

113 lines of code :P

That is cool! Can I help to add like a drawing functionality to that for each frame?

Response to: Windows Doors 2 - Wanna Help Out? Posted November 4th, 2009 in Game Development

Yeah. Ok. It will probably be themed around MSN and will either be one where people can chat to each other, or just a chatbot that will have lots of responses and respond to certain questions and things like that.

Response to: Windows Doors 2 - Wanna Help Out? Posted November 3rd, 2009 in Game Development

I will make a MSN inspired thing. So can no one else take it?

Please!

Response to: Windows Doors 2 - Wanna Help Out? Posted November 2nd, 2009 in Game Development

I was going to create a flash program. But I might just do something like MSN, or Pivot stick figure animator. Or if I can, a 3d game or something like that.

Response to: Box 2d Aser Needed -> Snowboarding Posted November 2nd, 2009 in Game Development

Yeah. I migth do it. Give me some art first and I will see what I can do.

Response to: Box 2d Aser Needed -> Snowboarding Posted October 31st, 2009 in Game Development

Yeah. Maybe. I might need some art first. What will the physics be fro? Just want to know?

Response to: Check Out Ma As2 3d Engine Posted October 31st, 2009 in Game Development

I could help you with the game. It sounds fun.
But for the bitmap thing, just import the bitmap into a movieclip that you use for the instances. Or, you could try this: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articl es/image_api.html. It should work.

Hay. Grind29 or whatewver the person hosting this collab is, you only have a BA of 3.41, you need a BA of 3.5 to host a collab. I'm sorry but you should just chuck this one away for now.

Response to: "Previously on.." Collab! Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

Yes I will be a part of this, but what version of flash do we use? Or do you use? and also, if you submit it at thanksgiving time, it will get bombarded with christmas videos and won't get a good score. Maybe submit it around January would be a better idea.

Response to: Check Out Ma As2 3d Engine Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

For the person in front of the camera, give the person the same coordinates as the camera, so it can follow the camera.

Response to: As2 - How Do You Make A S.s.s. Game Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

Yeah. I think you have. And you probably aren't doing the bullet thing right.

Response to: Check Out Ma As2 3d Engine Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

That is AS3 though

Response to: As2 - How Do You Make A S.s.s. Game Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

The registration point of the player is at the bottom fot the player to stay on top of the ground. That is why. He needs to change the position of the of where the gun fires.

Response to: As2 - How Do You Make A S.s.s. Game Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

it shoots no where from the gun, it just shoots from the bottom of the player.

Don't start threads like this. No one here will give you the action script for it. People hear might help you, but you need to learn action script. It is quite easy acutally. When you follow tutorials, don't copy and paste, actually copy it down. It helps you learn.

Response to: Check Out Ma As2 3d Engine Posted October 24th, 2009 in Game Development

I got no lag! Plus don't post the code yet until you are finished or else people will steal it. But you can still get people to help you with it. i think it is pretty awesome and that it can also be a first person type game, with the camera lower and all.....

Response to: Beta Testers Needed !! Posted October 23rd, 2009 in Game Development

It was an ok game, but the bullet coming from the ship came out of the back of the ship. Check that out. Maybe move the registation point of the ship to the middle of it.

Response to: !-Awesome Collab-! New Thread Posted October 22nd, 2009 in Game Development

No don't use egoraptor's stuff. If you use it, I don't think it would get accepted.

Response to: Flash Programming Battles 2009 Posted October 21st, 2009 in Game Development

Ok. I'm making a challenge.

Scripting: Whatever you want to use. I am using AS2

What to make it do: Make a bouncing ball, with wind controled by the mouse. Something like you put the mouse bellow the ball, and it flys up. And the mouse above it and it goes down

Deadline: 1 week from now, which is the 28th of October, 8am NG time.

Response to: Flash Programming Battles 2009 Posted October 21st, 2009 in Game Development

I might try that voiding grid one for a real challenge. I PMed you Vexagon.

Response to: Flash Programming Battles 2009 Posted October 21st, 2009 in Game Development

That was very good. Hey HonterGames, I went to my animation class a couple weeks back, and they where laughing at your Madness 3D thing. They said it wasn't 3d but was ok. But it wasn't very good. I don't believe them. I think it was very good! Keep on trying.

Response to: Flash Programming Battles 2009 Posted October 21st, 2009 in Game Development

That 3d ball one of yours Vexagon, was very good! I was wondering how you did it. Did you use AS2 or AS3. Please PM me. I want to get more into programming.
