Ok. I might share it, here it is:
http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/2509/728 33_worlds_hardest_game.php
It still isn't working.

Response to: Programming help: restart game Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

No. Sorry. That didn't work. But thanks anyway.
This is my code if you want to look at it:

// Player position
		var startX:Number = 96.7;

		var startY:Number = 232.7;
if (_root.player, hitTest(_root.enemy)) {
		//Go back to begining position
		player._x = startX;
		player._y = startY;
		_root.score = _root.score+1
		}

There it is.

Response to: Programming help: restart game Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

It is AS2. But that should work. Thank you.

Response to: Programming help: restart game Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

Ok. that would probably be easier. And, how do you set up the position coordinates and make the player go back to them?

Response to: Programming help: restart game Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

Can anyone help?

Response to: *The Game Trailer Collab* Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

They are good! I really like the Halo one.

Programming help: restart game Posted December 13th, 2009 in Game Development

Ok. I have my player going around and all of that, but when he hits the enemy, I want the player to start back at where it started when he started the level. Sort of like in the world's hardest game. Any help is appreciated. I have everything else done, just not this.

Maybe because he can touvh type. It is quite easy if you know what you want to type and after you have been doing it for 5 years, like me.

Response to: *The Game Trailer Collab* Posted December 12th, 2009 in Game Development

You copy all of your frames and paste them in a new movie clip. Um. And I might not do that Gears of War one.

Response to: *The Game Trailer Collab* Posted December 12th, 2009 in Game Development

I am sorry. My internet has just been stuffed up, not working. I haven't started working on it, but I am just getting some voices at this time. It won't take that long. Will have it done soon.

This is funny. We can't send you a file with the frames because we would make them in flash. if you are lucky we could draw them on paper but that would be really rare. And how could it be a "flash" (remember tjhis is in the flash forums) movie if you don't have flash. And it all comes down to the BA, which you need a minimum of 3.5 to start a collab.

It feels really stagnant, like it feels slow. The water itself is nice, but all the platforms its on are not that fun.

So does that mean I can join or do I need to show you more? So am I in or not yet?
