This is the stupidest thing I've seen all day;

you can't make a flash animation in Photoshop. You may be able to make a gif. and save it as a swf. file, but that dosen't turn it into a flash animation, dumb butt. Say nothing of putting sound on the file, which you also wont be able to do.

stop fighting girls, you're all pretty

btw, can I get my name up on your fancy parts taken doohicky right thur?

Response to: Red Bull Fbf Collab! Posted January 19th, 2009 in Game Development

I see why you'd say that, but do you think it'd be interesting to look at a guy simply drinking his redbull? It's all a matter of trial and error though. Maybe start out with sticks and then mesh out the bodies around those afterwards.
Also, pay close attention to the timing and the spacing of the animation.

If you can, make a sketch version of your idea. If you send that to me, I'll check it out and give you some tips on what to change, etc. What do you think of that?

I didnt mean that that was going to be my collab piece, just a guy drinking a redbull, but yeah. I already have a sketch version i could send you, but it was just one of my early ideas and I think I could come up with a better one.

Thanks for the tips on the full body animation, but I dont think this is going to be a huge challenge for me, I was just saying that a lot of full bodied dynamic movements are hard to do.

Response to: Red Bull Fbf Collab! Posted January 17th, 2009 in Game Development

I've messed around with non-stick characters, and the only way I am not good with them is if they're running or fighting or doing a bunch o different things at once. Something simple like talking or picking up a redbull and drinking it are easy though, so its not going to be a problem

this is the most recent uploaded flash that i've done, but its not the best I could do, and it was also my first time with a vcam...so in other words if I did one here it would be better and not have sticks.

YES.

I'll do this, awesome collab

Response to: Animator needed for game cutscenes! Posted January 6th, 2009 in Game Development

If you wanted I could try out animating a cutscene as a test...like you tell me what's supposed to happen and I could try to animate it and you could tell me if it was what you wanted or not

Response to: The Pivot Showcase Posted January 4th, 2009 in Art

Nevermind my last post b/c no matter where I download pivot from I get the invalid floating point error...so no pivot for me.

well...you could probably still join.

Find the post of that guy that said he was backing out, then find his part, and you can take that part.

Response to: Collab: Sunset City Posted January 3rd, 2009 in Game Development

that sounds like a good idea, I think whatshisface dropped this collab, so someone else should pick it up.

In theory, I could even pick it up, but all the menus would probably be mediocre at best, so hopefully if the need arises someone else can handle it.

Response to: Collab: Sunset City Posted December 6th, 2008 in Game Development

I e-mailed the guy MY shit, so I dont know what the hell you guys are doing.

Response to: Collab: Sunset City Posted December 4th, 2008 in Game Development

I am 97.69 percent done...have to fix the VCam and shit like that. I'll sent it to Hikuroitutiotoweeaboo when I finish it.

this is uber rough, I am going to go back and fill in the blank space that the Vcam catches, also Iam going to redo most of the backgrounds, buildings, and other stuff.

Mabye you should do two or three people just standing around, (i.e a bus stop) then the sun goes down and they're all like, "oh its that time again" and they start beating the shit outta eachother.

At 11/9/08 01:32 PM, Rolzo wrote: what do you guys think of this?

At first I was like :/ but then I lol'd

I dont know what it has to do with a "sunset city" tho.

Mabye you could have two dudes fighting and then one gets kicked into hell at sunset. That would fit the collab then you could keep everything you did, because it was funny

If you want to see my style or w/e just click on my profile lol.

what do you mean by dots? Are you talking about the different sizes of the brush or if when you use the brush it is pixelated?

What do you guys think?
It's pretty rough as is, or is that just a draft?

Yeah thats what I was going to say also,

If thats your "final product" I would defineatly suggest going back over that with some better animation.

I find it helpful that when I make something kind of like that, I take the time it took to make the rough draft and put that much effort into everything that happens in the movie, and just do one thing at a time (background, signature, sun, text, etc) Then you have a good animation.
