Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 12th, 2010 in Game Development

I need someone who could whip me up an intro real quick.
A voice over would help too.

Outrage never showed.
We have got all the artwork finished and no programmer.
If I could have an extension so I can code it up that would be great, but yes a bit unfair.

Nevermind I guess, I'll just do it and submit it as a single, even though the meaning of it won't make sense anymore

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

Well, that's all I can do. I have to go to school and the deadline is exactly as it finishes.

The rest is up to my team, unless we can get a short extension or something.

GOOD LUCK GUIZE

So.. much.. art..
My hand hasn't hurt this much since I discovered my older brothers stash

I hate this so much right now
Spent 15-20 minutes uploading a 6MB file for a friend to convert to flash 8
>FUCKING SLOW INTERNET
Realize it's CS4 instead of CS3
Rage quit everything

I've spent at least 20~ hours on this with minimal sleep
and have school in 2-3 hours
Feels bad man

And I got school in a few hours, only contact to coder I know is via textwith.me in which has crashed
I'll try PM him instead or something

the deadline is exactly when my school finishes
and if the coder doesnt do his job while im at school, ive needlessly done all this art

This isn't my weekend

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

Whoever picked my team is annoying.
Firstly, all our time zones are out of reach from each other, I've had to stay up late both nights (it's 5AM now) just to communicate with one of them)
You asked for our flash version, but didn't take it into consideration.
Both artists in my group have CS4 or higher
The programmer has Flash 8

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUU

This is more of a reason why my teams storyline works out.

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

I'm getting antsy waiting for outrage to show.
I only have 3 hours left before I cannot continue due to school

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

Wait.. prototype?

Oops..
Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

I hope my programmer gets online soon, he has quite a bit to do

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 11th, 2010 in Game Development

Just realized via timezones I'll be at school when the due date comes by.
This can't be good

Then the theme could've been released when the jam actually started, because I haven't been able to get in touch with my team (other than Perry) yet.

This would be a good plan.

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 10th, 2010 in Game Development

12 Hours Lost already.

Maybe next time try and team up people who are in a relatively same time zone?

Response to: Newground Game Jam Announcements Posted July 10th, 2010 in Game Development

I'm on a team with FatKid & the guy who coded nameless

Never heard of C01 sadly. D: Hope to see his potential <3

Maybe I didn't notice all the crap before, but everything seriously is just pure shit now.

The easiest analogy I can put this to is; The same way the BBS has gone, is the same way music has gone from the 90's to now.

Response to: Not liking things strictly because. Posted June 30th, 2010 in General

Twilight: The fans piss me off, and the amount of them that believe that version of vampires is the higher tier.

Allot of things can also be said for the same reason, give or take the vampire part.

Now Realize Why I Left The Bbs.. Posted June 30th, 2010 in General

Since it has pretty much turned into a bunch of 12 year old kids, ignorant douches and overprotective religious twats with nothing really interesting to say; I now remember.

There was a point a few years back where the BBS was somewhat good, now it's just turned to shit.
You don't know how badly I wish I was a moderator, so I could try and fix this place up. But I'll leave that for the currents to do their thing.

I now experiencing the same thing as BBR, and now understand why he did what he did, and I am proud of those actions.

I used to post about 10 times a day, interesting threads everywhere, people you could have a nice conversation with, etc. Now I post about once every 2 months due to how painfully poor the newer users have become.

I wish there was a board for just people who made their accounts before 06-07 can only access, then I wouldn't have to feel so nostalgic about Newgrounds

Unless I find something interesting (which I most likely will not) during my passing of the BBS every now and then; farewell, for this may be my last thread.

But I'm still staying on the rest of the site, just the General BBS has been corrupted in the worst of ways.
TL;DR: stfu and read it you cunt.

I already use Flash, but I want to do it for the novelty of a game on a calculator.

I know I'd be wasting my time, but I thought it would be a fun little project to test my skills.

Response to: Looking for Talented Programmer Posted June 28th, 2010 in Game Development

I love the art style of the backgrounds.

TI-Basic Posted June 28th, 2010 in Programming

Thought I'd teach myself something different and try to create a simple game on my calculator.

Anyone know how TI-Basic works, so far I believe I have gotten to know the basic principles and other simple things like Disp and Output(

Goto's and Label's are making sense so far, but still someone annoying to get my head around.

So, anybody got the knowledge?

yeah I was going to actually draw a grid with pencil, then have the smaller version of the design on paper with the same grid, then enlarge each part of the grid onto the skateboard, then carefully paint it by hand.
