If I'm ever playing an RPG or anything that gets me interested in what somebody is saying or if I just like the in-game music, then I don't play music.
But if I'm just playing an FPS game & I don't care, then I might put on music from the following bands:

-Fear Before (The March of Flames)
-Dungeon Elite
-Senses Fail
-Daft Punk

Shut up.
Left 4 Dead is a game you don't enjoy.
You can't say it's horrible. Other people enjoy it.
I can't believe you only played it for an hour?
I've spent probably almost 50 hours on this game.
I expect your response to be "get a life".
It's called an opinion, fuckface.
He can say it's horrible, because in his mind, it is horrible.
Don't lambaste him with your defensive bullshit and tell him he can't state his fucking opinion because other people liked it.
Actually saying "L4D sucks" is not a statement of opinion, as he never said that it only sucks in his opinion. He was implying that the game sucks to everyone everywhere. It COULD be his opinion, but he never specified if he only though it sucked to him or if he thought it literally DOES suck, no opinion about it, which would obviously be false since that is a normative statement.

... For the love of god, shut up.
He doesn't have to specify every little damn thing he says or thinks. He shouldn't have to say "WARNING: THIS WAS AN OPINION Guiizzz!" for dumbasses who just don't have the sense or reasoning to know it was an opinion..

I downloaded it, it looks pretty good so far. I've actually done a little with RPG Maker, it's pretty hard to make a good game with a small program, but it can be done. I suggest that in your next game, (if you're planning on making one), let the players customize their character a little more besides the name, even though sometimes it depends on what style of RPG you're trying to make.
Otherwise, you've done a nice job from what I've seen.

Okay, this is the last thing I'll say:

Really? Oh my bad, leveling up characters is what makes an RPG.

Its official now, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is an RPG...who would have thought?

Little Timmy, the only thing you have proven so far is that you are ignorant and you cannot come up with a decent argument. The most compelling evidence you have is that "OMG GAMESPOT SAYZ FINUL FANATASY IS AR PEE GEE". You have failed to disprove peoples points and just generally failed at arguing, I hope you respond so I can see another failpost.

Listen, I'm not trying to sound like a fucking dickhead.
I'm just saying what I think is right, I think that JRPGs, are also RPGs. That's all I was trying to say. Btw, I wasn't trying to argue like an asshole.

What I'm saying is that most JRPGs lack the complete essentials of an RPG game, and thus, should not be called RPGs.

I'm not saying JRPGs are terrible games, but I can't figure out why they are called RPG games.
Probably because you play the role of a fictional character in a Fantasy world.
Halo is an RPG too, as is Super Mario Bros, as is pretty much every game ever created.

I'm gonna stop arguing now, since your arguments are pretty much nonexistent.

Okay, this is the last thing I'll say:

& look at any JRPG on Gamespot & they are in the category of an RPG.

It most definitely does matter. The whole idea of RPGs is about customizing your character, playing a role, making choices, and not going through a completely linear path, both in gameplay and in character growth.

It still doesn't make or break a JRPG, It just adds alot more fun into the game.

Party
the other main characters you meet, have join you, and fight alongside with you.
Kinda liked how it was handled in FO2, in that the other party members could help out in non-combat situations. Haven't played Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, though, so I can't say.

Conversation (Dialogue)
Fallout 1. Wonderful writing. I actually cared for some of the NPCs (Harold, The Master, Tandi kinda).

World
Arcanum (for industrial revolution Tolkien world) or Planescape: Torment (very creative and original setting).

Art Direction
Arcanum, Planescape: Torment or Fallout (love the retrofuturism).

Story
Planescape: Torment.

Cutscenes
Meh.

Humor
Fallout? I dunno.

If JRPGs aren't Roleplaying games, then why are they called Japanese ROLEPLAYING GAMES!?
Also, they have the same things in them that should be in a good RPG, you gain skills throughout the game, & it has a great storyline.
It doesn't matter if you can customize the main character in a game or not, if you look at any JRPG game on a gaming website like Gamespot.com, it'll be in the category of an RPG game...

The saddest moment I've ever seen in a game was probably the part of FFX when Tidus & Yuna are in the water, (if you haven't seen this part, find out for yourself what happens).

I'm fellas! :P

Serious Sam: The Second Encounter Review:

Graphics: Doesn't look near as good as the games being made today, but this is an older game, so it wouldn't be fair to compare it to today's game graphics. But for an older game, it has some pretty good graphics. & besides, in my opinion, graphics don't make or break a game. 8/10

Originality: A tough badass that carries multiple weapons & says some funny one-liners, doesn't sound very original does it? But the game makes up for by throwing in some new creatures that look very awesome! & that's why originality gets a high score. 8/10

Difficulty: Though some monsters or demons are easier to kill than others, some may take a few shots from a rocket launcher. & those who are easier to kill, make up for it in numbers. So if you can take out some enemy with one shot from a certain weapon, don't stop, there's usually a big pack of them & some other creatues running after you as well. 9/10

Sound: Fantastic sound, you can always prepare for a certain enemy chasing after you, suck as a screaming headless maniac bomber, or a huge raging creature charging at you on all fours. 9/10

Weapons: There is a huge variety of weapons in this game & they are all very fun to use & play around with. This includes: A flamethrower, a chainsaw, a rocket launcher, & a couple of shotguns. I don't want to spoil anymore than I already have, but there are so many great things in this game & the fun will probably last for days. 9/10

Story: The story is pretty good, if you take the time to check out the back of the CD case, you should get a pretty good idea about what the story is since it explains pretty much all of it right there. 7.9/10

Replaying: This game is so fun that you'll probably have fun even the second time around, especially if you haven't played it in awhile. Plus, it's got an online mode called: Seriously Warped Deathmatch. Which is definitly worth checking out if you have a good internet connection. 8.8/10

Plus: This game lets you turn the blood off, or turn it green, or put it on Hippie mode. Hippie mode makes people bleed flowers, so if your sensetive to blood, this is still a game you should definitly check out!

Overall: This game is AMAZING... Graphics: 8/10 Originality: 8/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Sound: 9/10 Weapons: 9/10 Story: 7.9/10 Replaying: 8.8/10 Overall: 9.2/10
