Totally agree - it's one big long fucking adrenaline rush.

No, I'm... not even going to bother to interpret that.
It's been okay. A tad depressing, but productive. Found out I like Dead Space 2's multi. End productivity.
I'd make a long and extensive wish that would change reality as everyone knows it.
I'm left scratching my head. I think I might go over and post messages on my facebook about killing everyone then pass it off as lyrics.
It's a bit double-sided, but jail-time seems to have absolutely no place in the argument. at all. Counseling should be the worst. I mean... what?
The-Great-One, what if I were to serve you a dish of awesome (with a side of glory), while punching omnipotence in the face and playing Conker's Bad Fur Day. Do reply.
Vomiting is never pleasant. I've done it quite a few times - usually due to either trauma or just plain out illness. Actually, can't really think of any other reasons. Go figure. Scrummy.
No, no, not really. Dead threads are dead, unless theres been some huge development that I need to share. And even then, never on NG.
I find them novel when used in a limited fashion, but excessive use grates my nerves, as I'm sure it does everyone else's. Moderation in everything.
I just greet everyone and collapse somewhere for some relaxation and stuff for a bit. Works miracles.
Hey! Anyone remember that Typhoon? It missed. lol.
Internet's a little dizzy though.

That's because it's all of Nintendo's fanboys converging into a single, repulsive abomination.
This game sucks, and you suck for promoting your flash game here. You don't have to be some sort of elitist to realize that simply making done-to-death sprite-ripped flash games without attempting to be creative in any way (unless morphing it horribly with good ol' goku counts as creative) is terrible.
I play with whatever the hell characters I feel like at the time. I only play with friends, so even though I suck it doesn't matter that great of a deal.

I wouldn't say "worse" so much as "not-as-creative". People spend as much hours on their abominations in Minecraft as WoW players do methodically leveling their characters and whatnot. At the end of the day, there isn't really a jot of difference.
I say leave the guy of the video alone. He worked for that, in his own... way. I never had the patience.
Dead Space was and will always be an action game. Same with L4D and a few of the others you've got there. Simply being set in a zombie-infested world doesn't make it automatically make it a horror game, just because they're marketed as such (damn fine action games at that).
But yes, I agree. People say that you have to be innovative to scare a modern gamer but that's completely untrue. You simply need two things to scare the most hardcore gamer, which can be derived from your list - consequence and control.
To scare a gamer, you need to allow them to be able to do anything, although prepping the difficulty somewhat, and let them know just how easy it is to die the moment they let their guard down. Keep them on their toes. The second is to let them know what they lose when they die. Let them know that all their hard work, all their progress, is dead. Make them lose stuff. Make them suffer.
More or less, make it reflect life. If every encounter can be significantly fatal, and provided it's set with some modicum of horror in the background (LEGO Universe probably shouldn't adopt this) and you've got yourself a set deal.
On that note, I hated Amnesia. If I wanted to spend the entire fucking game running like hell, snagging everything, and keeping my sanity in check then... I'd just go outside.
If you've watched the video, you've lived the experience. Don't bother with the download, but I do have to say, it's pretty bloody hilarious and a clever marketing ploy all in one. Though PC gamers don't get no demo, it's nice to be noticed.

What the shit? What fucking typhoon? Fuuuuuuuuucking balls, the weather just never lets up.
lol houses
I should really be taking the time to do some art, but I'm preoccupied with video games most of the time. The draw (lol pun) is just too great. It's gone from simply pre-occupation to downright neglect.
:(
I've owned, so far:
N64
Gamecube
Wii
Playstation 1
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
Xbox
Xbox 360
And my PC and a couple of handhelds. I'm a little late to the game.

Took me about 7 hours first run-through on zealot. I don't possibly know how it could take that long, it was just so easy to go through, even while searching all the corners.

This, plz. Never had more of a red-glass view for any other game.
Things are usually better when you're young. Wether they be video games, television, pretend, other kids, or church.
Hell, I'm always up for an apocalypse. I'll get right on this at my earliest convenience.
Haven't drawn anything in ages and stuff, anyway.

And off-the-shelf games are $100 to $120 in Australia. I've always wondered when people were bitching about $60 game prices, especially since it's not like the Australian currency has gone under or anything.
As for the serials, it's just a console version of CD keys by the look of it. Nothing too major, if a little bit redundant and easy to overcome.
I'd say that the current generation has quite a bit of life left in in as of yet - at least another 4 years, and I'm thinking about 7 tops.
As to where it will go... I'm thinking that exasperating the Xbox 360 and PS3 will become defunct in the near future - they're very similar, in both range of game sand quality, differing only in hardware and even then with each generation the more "hardcore" systems are brought closer together.
Someone above said that everyone is sooner or later going to convert to PC gaming. There will always be a room for a console for hardcore gamers, and one for casual, I think, but only really one each. Having the Xbox360 and PS3 is quite reduntant. I figure that sooner or later, they're either going to push one or the other out of the system, or they're going to segregate to different countries (PS3 dominating Europe and the Xbox360 dominating America right now, for example).
There's only one fantasy hack and slash for me.
These things pack a punch when used right, but I still would only last half a week, tops.

Samus has survived more shit then Master Chief ever did. I don't even know what you're on about, she's smashed the fuck out of aliens as tall as a damned building. Multiple times.

How about you read the fucking thing before commenting? I was complaining that pirates are pissing absolutely everyone off, and that appealing to a PC gamer's elitism would work better then a bit of DRM ever would.
In no way did I ever speak out agaisnt consoles. I own the entire current generation, myself, and out of choice stick to the PC.
Camping, I've realized, is usually only present in games where you die quickly - a game such as Quake 3 Arena, Half-Life, Jedi-Academy, even Halo, all really negate that one aspect of camping.
