Blech. If I was trapped in any of those paths, myself, I'd cut my ties loose and go walkabout for a bit, turn over a new leaf, work my way up a ladder or two.

Well, for the last two, first one I'd simply re-organize my schedule. I don't know why you think that life has to suck because of circumstance, there's usually some choice.

If you're trapped in a torture chamber, then life sucks regardless.

The difference is that you've got no compulsion to care for who's in that box - that is, you're not going to have to support them for the rest of your life, so ending whoever is in that box is just so incredibly unfair I can't imagine it...

1) To put a 1/100 chance of ending life for such a pitiful amount of money? Pathetic. No way would I push it.

2) Hah, no. I don't want that coffin resting on my conscience, and the money would be dirty. I'm not starving, I can deal without it, and leave knowing that I'm doing the right thing.

3) I'm going to be completely honest, this is the sort of kinky shit I'd probably do anyway...

4) Haha, no. Like I said, I'm not going to give the chance that I may be killing someone to save myself the effort...

Wouldn't matter if I was either abducted or freely exploring, that button stays pristine.

Perhaps you really need to up the stakes to get to the likes of me, but it appears that most people are all fine and happy with putting life at risk for their own personal gain. That said, I'm in favour of abortion - the stakes have really, really been upped for them.

The new game Scroll from Mojang really got me thinking about this topic - the main reason that that game was created was because the creators wanted to play a game like it, but one didn't exist.

So what I thought was, what games would you like to play, but you can't - games which you would gladly fork out money for, but can't since, well, you can't. And if your game has come out, that one where you've fallen in love with everything about it, why not share that instead?

And hell,it doesn't have to be a new game, something never thought of before, maybe just an existing one that was so close to being so awesome in your opinion, but missed out.

Please share.

Example: For me, I've always wanted an RPG-like game which reflects more keenly on real life. That everything that happens in the game is incorporated into it - griefers are simply random thugs and GMs are an in-game police force. That death means you lose everything - and using every tweak is encouraged. That combat is respected and that simple conversation and contribution is the norm.

Response to: Metric system in the US Posted March 3rd, 2011 in General

It'd make sense, but it's a big change for an entire country. Perhaps if a few states at a time tried it, to get used to that tingly feeling of counting in 10s.

Response to: Describe a user Posted March 3rd, 2011 in General

Hey Bitchtits! Imma going to describe a few users, ctrl+f if you're man enough.

Narcissy: Possibly the most fab person on Newgrounds, even when not Fab. Is so Fab that he is often mistaken for an Attention Whore due to his incredible Fabness. If you need Fab, you know where to go.

Cootie: Fun-loving Poster. Pretty opinionated, but hell, what are you going to do about it?

Ptero: Possibly the most skeptical user on the BBS at the moment. Very lackluster commitment to the enthusiasm of his own posts.

HayBayBee: Is very much not a "he". A few misunderstandings later, and you've got yourself a massive shitstorm (in BBS style) around that sole fact, but at the end of it isn't exactly a bad user.

Gagsy: Moralfag, Whiteknight, you name it, invests waaaay too much emotion and feeling into the BBS, but at the end of the day, we need gals like that to remind us what dick we're being.

EyeLuvPoozy: Possibly the most "mod" mod around. Is in it for the job, not our pre-pubescent dickery.

Fifty-50: Rad artist, and a bit of spice into General on his own. Sort of emanates a "greenhorn" aura, though.

Rucklo: Each post on general is both a compliment and a mockery all in one.

Sanch: Often mistaken for a troll, but is honestly just as opinionated as the rest of us, only with an extra-sharp edge of sarcasm to boot.

Seriana: Has Issues.

klik: Bit of the staple General-user - a bit of fun, bit of seriousness, bit of getting misunderstood by absolutely everyone else. Pretty cool guy, regardless.

Rubbertrucky: Somehow seems to be a figurehead of maturity, as a true-blue General user, even when being immature. Fuck knows how he does it.

Ryanson: If one were to state an "underrated" user thing, he'd be in the running. Totally contributes without drawing attention to himself, which while very commendable, isn't exactly garnering a bitchload of fans. Little bit of Attention-Whoring every now and again is totally alright, dude.

I'm-A-Pirate: Is a decent user, bit of this, bit of that. Manages posting quite decently. Decent fellow, that.

SergeiPetrenko: Relies too much on his gimmick. Give it up, dude, it's only really annoying. Like you're trying to make yourself interesting, which isn't interesting at all.

ChrisLovejoy: Chillax. People remember you, if not all the time.

Narcissy: Once wasn't enough. Just going to restate that you're a flawless motherfucker.

giantdouche: Isn't a giant douche, but manages to live up to his name occasionally, enough to warrant it.

Tetris: Doesn't do enough innuendo about his own name.

Falonefal: Quit using the "Mad as Hell" emoticon. It's a turn-off to conversation.

orangekiller: A huge roll of Faggotry and Overopinionated in one convenient-sized package. Better to spout those ideas somewhere where people haven't decided to disfargeg everything you say.

Jedi-Master: Not nearly as much of a nerd as his name makes out - is a pretty cool guy and knows how to take a joke (and a cock, on occasion :P).

towellyfan: Somehow managed to combine two fetishes into one. And advertise his fetishes everywhere. Huh.

Lintire: Is bored of writing about other people when he should be busy trying to get his shit together on art. Peace out.

Dude, it's obvious that she was totally into you, and you ruined the moment and everything. It may seem illogical, but from here it sounds quite romantic, in a cute kind of way. Could have totally put the move on her, in an innocent way.

Girls do that sometimes. Hell, people in general do that sometimes. Their way of showing that they care for you.

Response to: Split personality on the BBS Posted March 3rd, 2011 in General

Nah, I figure that the best way to go around doing things is to simply be myself. Trying to act cool on the internet or whatever doesn't actually earn you any brownie points, anyway.

I sifted through 57 pages of search results before finally thinking to Google it, and you beat me to it.

Still, certainly looks like it has a valid reason for being disbanded, and in today's portal I really don't think that there's room enough for another one - crap flashes tend to get blammed one way or the other.

Bit of column A, bit of column B, but quite a bit of this.

If you're buying a CD, make sure that you're buying it for sentimental value, and you'll honestly never feel as though you're wasting the space - buying CDs at random, though, and you're wasting space and money.

But at the moment, you don't have too many either way - don't worry about it until you hit 100.

That's a real load of work. The man who had the tenacity, the gall to post this here really does deserve a medal - you never ever see strength like this, you never see men having the balls to boast about their achievements online. Not to mention, after boasting, they challenged the forum with their achievements! I've never seen a hero like this, never had the privileged to be in their presence...

Nah, just kidding, OP's a fag. Today I went around engaging in normal conversation with people, or at least trying to, despite that I was nearly deaf...

Feels Bad, man. But that's really my only achievement today, so whatever.

Response to: Forum-splitting on Newgrounds Posted March 3rd, 2011 in General

No, spam threads are actually pretty rare nowadays, and when they do happen, there are mods. That's what they're here for. This is really sort of a useless suggestion, I really do not approve of it. I need my dicks and trolls in the same place.

Response to: Licensed game from Bethesda? Posted March 3rd, 2011 in Video Games

I find that pen-and-paper RPGs are only ever really fun for me when they're done within some kinky situation, but that's just my attention span. Online, same thing without the kinky - like playing them in a group.

However, Bestheda trying it's hand at an adaption, I would like to see. Hope they add cooperative.

That's a shame. Microwavable burgers and hotdogs have always been a delicacy for me, as compared to the real thing. The condensed, heated moisture in the buns themselves have always particularly appealed.

Flourescent lighting =/= Lightsaber.

I would say, that in a hypothetical situation where the blade is both bigger then the hilt and it doesn't go off, then it would definitely burn its way to the core, eventually. However, wouldn't go any further and would be crushed by both the supercondensed mass and incredibly harsh gravity that the center of the world.

In the context of the movies, however, wouldn't happen. People seem reluctant to lose their lightsabers by dropping them like that.

Fuckin' things not coming out for PC, so I have trouble giving a damn for the game in itself, though I sympathize with having pre-orders delayed - had my fair share of fuck-ups, and it never hits home softly.

Least you're still getting the game, though. Credit card issues and shit not meaning that you turn up with an empty mailbox on the day...

Response to: Uotd Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

24 hours, a bit too extreme, and I like the idea of the two-months thing, but really it's just a little gimmick, a little distraction from day to day. It's not really there to accomplish anything - it was never designed to do that. Not meant as a reward, so much as a lotto bucket.

Which is good, because I'd hate to actually have to earn anything on newgrounds.

Response to: I just had japanese! Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

I don't like Japanese food. It always seems too... much in one department or the other, and lacking in absolutely every single other one. Hate sushi, hate their processed foods, give me a meaty burger and some 2-minute noodles any day.

Response to: Why I Will Not Get A Smart Phone Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

Nice speculatory argument you have. Nice to see you're acting on it.

But seriously, perhaps you might want to investigate this further before you dismiss the concept all together. You're assuming that something will happen. Why not talk to the friends with the smartphones and friends without, get both sides of the deal and make a rationalized decision based on that, instead of your... shallow argument that you're presenting here.

Response to: Harder now to blam submissions? Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

I wouldn't say anything of the sort. I literally believe that less crap flashes are being submitted to the portal - and that peoples expectations have raised the bar on flashes of that sort.

It's just time passing. Things are getting better, and less spammy.

Response to: The Hope Illusion. Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

Hah. No. Got to think positive. If you don't laugh, you'll cry, and while that's probably more realistic it's a fucking mess. Disregarding everything you said in favour of a slightly more hopeful, if futile, life philosophy. Because you know what? It may come to nothing, but I'll enjoy myself, so fuck it.

Response to: Wise Life Lessons - Personal exp Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

Cutting yourself hurts. Cutting others doesn't. Take the hint.

Get yourself some life hacks, it's like hacking life except they're usually in the form of handy pics - such as this. Google it or something. I usually get mine from teh 4chan.

Exercise and sleeping are underrated. You can still talk cocks on the nets while going to sleep not hating yourself.

For those in school, the recommended amount of study each week, for seniors, is 10 hours. It's recommended for a reason - manage that and you'll be all like "OMFG I AM GENIUS".

Response to: anime recommendations? Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

Frankly, I get really bored with any anime that resorts to filler. This crosses out most. Like, most. In my opinion, short and sweet is so much better then pretty good but incredibly drawn out.

At the moment, I'm watching Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. Pretty immature, even as animes go, but I'm lovin' it.

Response to: What if your life was an RPG? Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

I'd be a Manwhore - lots of stats into END and AGI, with a few in the SPE.

I've always wanted to be a manwhore. It sounds like a very respectable career path, at least.

Response to: Newgrounds = assholes? Posted March 2nd, 2011 in General

Eh. Asshole is an asshole, but in a community such as this its hard to have a point of reference as to who's an asshole and who's not. It's more a case of "who's the bigger asshole".

Which is funny in itself.

Minesweeper ramped up on difficulty. Simply can't do it, never have, it's a bitch like you wouldn't believe.

Otherwise, I've never cheated other then that the game's pacing was so broken that I was bored and really had nothing else worthwhile to do. How it works.
