You jump behind your couch as A MOTHERFUCKING CHEETAH smashes through the panes, all loathing and hate.

Its blood-red eyes fix on you as you fall to your back and shuffle backwards. Prowling across the couch with all the patience of an experienced hunter, it leaps without warning. You, with your reflexes surprisingly honed by fragging noobs on Medal of Dutygrounds, roll to the side as claws sink into the polished hardwood floor where you were a moment ago.

You stagger to your feet and take off at a slow run through the rented ground-floor apartment as the cheetah dislodges its claws from the floor. Locking yourself in the bathroom, you do whats most appropriate at this point in time, vomit into the toilet and scream. A loud banging against the door, like a semi-conscious couple fucking in the nightclub privy, distracts you from your screaming.

You gather yourself. Now is your time. You've been preparing your whole life for this, playing videogames and being utterly bored with life, and now is the time that something happens, something you can CAPITALIZE on.

You block the door with a small cupboard and continue screaming.

Claws start tearing through the door, and in some instinctual, yet surprisingly logical part of your mind you recognize the powers of your sniveling alone won't save you. Grabbing a toiler scrubber in one hand and the toilet lid in the other, you kick open the door and engage the beat in teeth-to-toiletry product combat in a complete 180 of your characterization up to now.

It leaps, and you deflect with your SHIELD, feeling the weight of the gigantic beast as you shoulder already aches. As it recuperates, sliding on the polished floor, you attack it with your MACE, delivering the mild battering of a life time as your bare feet resist the siren call of the polished floor.

The cheetah tears out at you, thin trails of blood dripping from your new, blazing hot leg wound. You consider curling into a ball and crying because of the pain, but decide against it on account of not being COMPLETELY FUCKING RETARDED.

But the leg slows you down and the cheetah once again leaps at you, this time breaking your SHIELD in two. You cast it aside, using your pattern recognition to know that now is the time to end this and attack. You charge up your MACE DESTRUCTIVENESS by swinging it around and screaming, and leap at it.

It explodes in a fountain of blood, spot remover and rainbows.

I regret reading this thread. Went from some decent points to more inane bullshit arguing over nothing. Good work, General.

Anyway I don't talk for the sake of talking. I can definitely see myself being said asshole if people were just trying to talk to me because they wanted to. I tend to go into a conversation pre-loaded with interesting points and purpose. Meandering conversations just irritate me. Asking me "how was your day" isn't going to to elicit much of a response, I just tend to change the subject onto something more fun.

However I make that perfectly clear from the onset, so I doubt that kind of suspicion that they're pointedly ignoring you, because "coolness" wouldn't really happen. It's never happened to me, either, because I've never pursued conversations with the disinterested.

It's just a waste of time.

Honestly, when the AlterniaBound flashes came out, I was disappointed. I wanted more games in the vein of the Act 4 LOWAS walkaround. I still play that, sometimes. Just to remember the good ol' days when it seemed that sort of game was going to become a regular thing (but then the programming guy ran out of money, and Hussie's webcomic wasn't yet at a point where he could support more then one person and the rest is history).

If the Kickstarter game is just one big LOWAS walkaround, I would be so happy. Everything about that game was perfect, from messing around with the sylladex. Hell, if it improved on the combat, he wouldn't have to change a thing. I'd play that game for ages.

Also the latest sprite is by far the best. STRENGTH, and mental POWER, nothing could be better.
