Not entirely true, but yes. Poor old kitten.

And the oldest one was 38. That's older than some unfortunate HUMAN bastards get to live, in certain areas of the world.

P.S.

Those of you who HAVE decent looking muscles, and didn't used to...have you noticed any real change in how people perceive you?

I don't necessarily mean: "do chicks dig muscles as much as they seem to do on TV and shit", but that's certainly a big part of the question.

Hey guys.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before (several hundred times at least, given the nature of most internet-addicts and this thread itself), but I'd like to know...

A) How long, approximately, would it take for someone of medium build and in vague shape (who goes for a 45 minute run at least 3 or 4 days a week and does about 40 pushups daily) to develop abdominal muscles, if they worked on that set of muscles steadily and doing the right exercises?

B) Keeping in mind the fact that I don't have abs, at all, at the moment...would any of you know where I can find a safe but relatively effective guide or regiment of daily excercises (without going overboard, I don't want to hurt myself or do something that would discourage me from continuing it) that would help me start to develop those muscles? Or even better, would some of YOU who've personally obtained a decent-looking 6 pack be able to point me in the right direction?

I'd post a picture of my tummy, but I think I remember there being a rule against that.

If you'd be so kind as to just give it a thought, I'd be really grateful. And if I haven't put down enough information and you're interested in helping a guy out, just say so.

Thanks a bunch.

I used to like it. Used to cheer for him, kinda root for him, especially when he was compared to guys from other shows.

Leno and Conan are just...I dunno, funnier. Or at least they HAVE been for the last few years.

His material is just boring, lately. You have to force yourself to chuckle.

Christ. It's times like these that you wish there were some form of restriction in place for these songs.

"If you have nothing to do with the song in question or the people who originally wrote/sang it and made it famous in its own time and yet sing the aforementioned song, you will be prosecuted as severely as the law permits and possibly banished from the music industry."

First Madonna, now these imbeciles.

Almost makes you want to PLEAD with them for once, rather than rage at 'em.

PLEASE find some other song to rape. Not this one.

In a sense, the old criticism that people use to defend the validity of this kind of device rings true.

"Women use vibrators, and they're considered independent. Men use fake vaginas, and they're labeled as <<losers>>".

But my gut tells me that it's simply pathetic.

B) Why would you want to do that to your past self? What's the point of putting yourself through that kind of torture?

C) What...was that? Starts running, and self-duplicating?

but as Maul and Tyrannus never were Masters, they cannot be Sith Lords right?

The title of "Sith Lord" isn't exactly all that defined our explicit, but...yes, I guess you could say that.

It didn't used to be necessary for a Sith to be the leader of the entire order, to obtain the title of "Sith Lord"...but then the Rule of Two came around, and things changed.

Tyrannus was certainly well past the level of Sith Adept or Sith Warrior, but not quite a Sith Lord. Perhaps, if he had lived in the pre-Bane era, he would have been the equivalent of a Lord, but he couldn't technically be one in his own time because of the Rule of Two.

So TECHNICALLY, Vader isn't a Sith Lord either. But it's hard to imagine a more striking symbol of the Sith Lords.

I guess it's up to you.

Maul sure as hell wasn't a "Lord", though. I mean, I'm a huge fan of the guy and everything, since he's a Sith because he honestly believes that the Jedi are corrupt and deserve to be purged from the Galaxy (instead of being just a common dick who wants to rule for the sake of power, like Sidious). Plus, he's got mad lightsaber skills and teras-kasi techniques.

But the sheer amount of control over the Force that he had was not enough to classify him as a Lord. He would have never prevailed against Sidious, had the time come for him to take on his Master.

Being pretty much Italian myself, I've never understood why American and British folk call certain types of ice-cream "Gelato".

It'd be like us Italians calling pick-up trucks "Cars", and then using the ordinary translation for all other vehicles 0_0

Sounds good though, 75 cents is a heckuva deal.

I doubt anyone's ever heard of it, but... "Conspiracy".

It's a 2008 movie starring Val Kilmer.

My little sister, whose ability to pick the absolute worst movie out of any rental store is downright uncanny, picked it up at random while looking for something to watch in front of a hot meal.

I remember saying, without actually consciously trying to come up with something interesting or funny, that the movie would have been several magnitudes more interesting and more appealing if some sort of Tiger or other jungle cat were to have sprang unexpectedly from a vehicle or house and started randomly mauling the actors on set.

It was that bad.

Not that the BBS isn't an enjoyable place to spend time on, every now and then.

Because we haven't noticed any ground-breaking change as of yet.

And because the fellow sort of bitched and complained about how America needed to recall its troops from Iraq as soon as humanly possible, during the elections, going so far as to promise to get every soldier home within days (were he to be elected). And then he sent MORE soldiers out there.

Good thing McCain was supposed to be the worthy successor of Bush.

You're still alive? Cool.

At any rate, I'd say go to some of the other neighbors and ask them what they think about it. If those two are as loud as you say, you should be able to gather at least ten people who also have a beef with 'em.

Then you take the folks you've talked to, go to the front door of the two lovers, and TELL them that they need to soundproof the room or quiet down a little.

Chances are they'll be embarassed as hell.

If they don't stop making noise after 11 p.m. even after that, just go to the cops. Simple as that.

Topic: Infected vs. Zombies

Posted: 08/08/09 10:06 AM

Forum: General

I'm guessing you mean the 28 Days Later infected, and ordinary zombies.

The infected are faster and perhaps even slightly more resourceful than most zombies (they seem to have less difficulty in taking down barriers and overcoming obstacles to reach their prey), so on a short-term basis I'd agree with you. They'd kick zombie-ass.

On a long-term basis, I'd have to pick the zombies. From what I know, they have the advantage of taking a much longer time to starve, compared to the infected. I mean, those guys are on the ground gasping and dying after a month or two, whereas in some apocaliptic movies the ZOMBIES take about half a year to start showing serious signs of...malnutrition.
