No, he didn't. Usernames contain only alpha-numerics and hyphens. He's talking about stuff that's in the portal(s), like one of Tom's submissions, whereby Tom's name would be displayed as:

TomFulp (Tom Fulp)

Which is exactly what Archon68 was referring to in his instructions.

You didn't come across as a creep at all, you should have just made it clear who you were from the get-go.

This convention was the first I've ever been to and I was kind of intimidated by it, but the point about the NG booth is that it's supposed to be as laid back as it can be, so it's a case of turning up for as little, or as long, as you like, and just introducing yourself from the start - something I failed to do. :)

I might be misunderstanding your question... but once you have something like winrar, you open the first in the sequence, and the rest will open and extract as they go.

Can I just say that ignoring issues like this isn't the prudent thing to do - if there's a glitch on the site, it's always unintentional. It surprises me how many people find it easy enough to post a comment about issues on the BBS, who then never follow it up with a message to one of us (even a link to a thread is sufficient). I keep saying this, but we can't be expected to follow every single bbs thread in an attempt to track down bugs - we just wouldn't get anything done in the day if that were the case.

I'm not talking about the OP here, who did exactly the right thing by making contact, but in general. It's not like we're gonna snap your heads off if you report something, even if it turns out to be a false alarm.

You can use full URLs (in 4.3.0 +) if allow_url_fopen is enabled, though of course, the information in the page is already parsed at that point.

I'll admit I missed that, but I actually meant as you're in the game itself - I got to level 9 and got tired of hearing the same music... I'd rather have a hotkey, like 'M' or (even 'P' to pause) to toggle the menu up or something like that, so I could turn things off and on as I want to, without interrupting the game or having to restart it.

That's a great game! You should have the option to toggle music and sound on/off, though.
