I brought this up with Goldfish the other day. Apparently, Safari doesn't do as other browsers do - where, when a popup is attempted to be opened, it doesn't give you any notification about it. It just doesn't do it, period. Unless we missed something, which is possible, it's been a frantic few days.

If you didn't fully read Tom's post, please do. However, I'll say this:

the suggested content is kinda skewed at the moment, but it's being updated as I write this up (it'll take a few hours). Eventually, all suggested content will be of the same type and suitability - so if you land on a game that's suitable for everyone, the suggested content that falls to the right or below what you're playing will be of the same suitability (and will be games, rather than a mixture of games and movies)... thus negating the reason for putting suitability against the suggested content.

Furthermore, "shock" flashes that are inappropriately categorised are unlikely to show up in any of those lists in the first place.

In other words, don't worry about it too much.

If you enjoyed that, and haven't seen the Green Mile, that's worth a shot, too. It's also based on a Stephen King novel and based around life on death row in prison.

If you go on to further education, there are other proms, too, which are probably more along the lines of what you guys get up to... minus prom Queens, dancing, and all that stuff and more concentrated around food and booze. At least, that was my experience of it all.

If you're signed up to receive daily e-mails/weekly e-mails and you're not getting them, the first place to look is in your junk mail. That's your problem, not ours, since we do all we can to make sure we're not blacklisted and that the e-mails follow convention.

Just to back that statement up - anyone who was around and trying to use the internet on 9/11 would have run into serious problems (any site). And that was before the internet even got to the usage it has now.

It's completely possible, just not probable.

Indeed. There are various sections of the site being re-worked at the moment, so part of this might already be taken care of in those changes. I don't think the solution to this is putting in an admin-approved link, though - there's got to be something in digg's setup to reference an existing entry, rather than re-inventing the wheel every time a link is sent to them. I'll look into it tomorrow.

Ok, I've resolved this issue. Thanks for bringing it up, but in future, if you get more than one person who's finding the same issue you're asking about when it comes to bugs on the site, please PM me, as it's not practical to go hunting through the forums for this kind of information.

As has been suggested, you used to have to have other elements filled out in your account for medals to show up. I have since changed that, so even if you don't have anything else other than medals in your account, they'll still show up there.

@OP - if you check your userpage now, you'll see all of the medals you have accrued there.

Just for the pessimists amongst you - I do still read this thread on a daily basis and the only time I'll ever ignore suggestions is when they've already been put out there.
