That's pretty stupid when you think about it for more than one millisecond. Let's say that a forum mod is only a forum mod; he has no other modly powers. Why would it make sense to allow him access to a forum shared by other mods who discuss things pertaining to their responsibilities, things that that only those other mods should know? Why should that forum mod be able to know everything relating to review, art, and audio mods? It makes more sense to keep everything private by allowing each kind of moderator his/her own forum. Of course, those who have multiple modships have access to multiple secret forums.

What other things should they only know? Mods are already given an elevated status of trustworthiness, so I don't see how allowing all the mods into the same area would change anything. What, is a forum mod going to be able to go run and spout off what some of the other mods are talking about? There is no reason for them to just not be clumped together and then be "given" individual threads for the respective mods. It's a lot less complicated, then say, having only 4 of the 7 mods be given their own forum (And 1 getting their own years before they were even going to exist)

That would be a problem with the moderation then. Besides, it is very hard to achieve 10k posts with borderline bannable posts. Look at everyone with over 10k. We've been here for years. Spammers don't have that kind of endurance.
