Thanks man, yeah I like to just make stuff up sometimes, and these kind of wings look kinda cool.

Wild cats like that have very thick shoulder muscles. The rib bone(or indication of them) lines would be visible on the bottom of the beast but be covered up more so by muscle tissue and fats as it curved up towards his back/shoulder/wing.
You're probably right, but as it's a mystical beast, anything goes, right? :P
Do you ever draw small scale stuff? Your style is really good and I am in need of an artist/animator for a game. Keep posting, the anime characters you have up here are absolutely wonderful. Hell I mean all of the art you have up here is really good.
Thanks again, I don't have much time to draw as much as I'd like to, so I might not be the best choice here. Send me a PM with more details though.

Beautiful stuff. Would love to see some of this in hi-res to fully appreciate it.
Great stuff. I really like the fine details and textures in your finished stuff! Keep it up!
Been a while since I sat and drew anything. So got back to it today. A bit of nostalgia brought me back to my favourite game.
hi res. 3000x2000

WOW!), some need some more work (the pic taken in Collioure is too bright and looks too artificial). But that's okay, experimenting with your equipment and with post processing is always a good thing. Only through trying and experimenting we can get better at what we are doing. :D
Okay pal. Thanks for the critique anyway. You're right, some of them could have been better, when I look back on stuff I've done, I sometimes think I should re-do some of them with a few tweaks.
I think I went for extra vibrance on the collioure pic just to accentuate all the greenery on that little street, but I see what you mean.

Ha. Which ever one it is, I bet it's a nice camera.
Say, I've made a lil photo page on facebook, just so I don't clam up my own page with photos I post. Would very much appreciate likes and all that jazz :D

What camera did you say you use?
Oh wow, good thing my wife didn't see that. :D
Haha. I was quite pleased with this pic. I had to get real close to it. Like the lens was probably nearly touching the thing. I was using an inversion ring, and just my 18-55 lens put on backwards. It works great for macro stuff!
At 8/27/14 01:39 PM, Haggard wrote: Still browsing through my holiday pics. I think this turned out really well. I didn't edit anything here, which I think is the most amazing thing about this pic. Even a blind man may sometimes hit the mark, right? XD
That is a nice one! I Haven't seen snow in years. It doesn't snow where I live, so I think the next holiday I have I'm gonna go somewhere cold and snowy! :)
This is a macro pic I got of a pretty big spider in my garden about a month ago.

Nowadays, it is very easy to take almost every picture I've seen that people label art.
Some pictures however still take "work" to get, so I will acknowledge those.
Also, Art should express emotion, so...a lot of pictures don't really qualify.
Okay, your turn to argue.
I'm not trying to argue. I was just saying I don't think you can write of all photography as not being artistic.
I am actually in accordance with you, photography is a lot easier now a days, with everything being digital, and post-processing etc...
I follow alot of photographers on facebook, and frequent alot of photography sites, and alot of what I see from 'professional photographers', I don't find visually attractive at all, yet others will like it, so, like most forms of art, it can come down to personal taste and preference.
The same can be said about art on canvas. Alot of the 'contempary art', or 'modern art' consisting of coloured lines or boxes on a blank canvas are still considered art, or even masterpieces by some, yet I've seen better crayon drawings from 4 year olds.
At 8/25/14 01:16 PM, Haggard wrote: Yes, HDR pics can be amazing. But I think looking at 800 pics with effects and filters added to them isn't that appealing.
Your pic looks funny, as if it was a screenshot from some computer game. :D
I agree, too many HDR pics can get annoying, and over doing it also. Someone else said that about it looking like a video game too XD
This is a pic I took one morning...no HDR, but a bit of colour alteration.
Also, high-res here.
At 8/24/14 05:31 PM, Haggard wrote: And here's the original with the mast still visible. Also, adding to the topic of post processing: Most of the time I only use IrfanViews automatic correction, which is pretty good. Sometimes pics just look too dark on the computer (while they did look pretty good on the camera display), so gamma correction is something I almost always do.
Very nice picture. I myself like to experiment around with post processing, adding tints sometimes, or just adjusting contrast/saturation etc...
I've gotten into the HDR effect a bit aswell, taking 3 pictures at different exposures and combining them later on the computer. Some of them give really nice effects.

I really like it. The location looks beautiful, and the grass houses look cool :D
I'd love to travel more to take more photos! Most of my stuff is close to home..

Err....and can you defend that statement? Cos there are thousands of people that disagree with you....myself included.
I'm reviving this club in the hopes that there are a few people that are quite serious about photography and can bring the club back to life....I'll leave you with a photo I took a little while ago...
I bought my first DSLR camera this yeah and I'm loving it. Here's one I took a few weeks ago...

Colour/detail added.

Woah, looks great. I love art like that. I kindof just got this image of like interactive menus, when you roll over them, some cogs move and the blue panel bits slide down.....but yeah, that'd be more of a flash project. Anyway, nice work, hope you manage to make it!
At 5/29/14 08:07 AM, kmau wrote: Feel free to give me your opinion on these things! I really can't tell which eyes / colors are the most bearable to look at.
You have a great style. I really like it! I especially like how you use perspective in your art. Bending and curving characters and backgrounds - it really adds depth of field. Thats one thing I need to work on myself! The only thing I'd critique on your first picture in this thread, is the green hair. It seems way too bright against everything else in the picture which is quite gloomy and shady. Maybe you was going for that effect, but i dunno, it looks like it's almost glowing.
As for the colours and eyes on this last pic, I personally think the far right looks the nicest. Keep it up!

Would we actually be able to see each individual eyelash and eyebrow strand when her hair is clumped up like that?
Should nails and structure of the hands be shown when no bones and muscles are represented in the arms?
Thanks for the advice. You're right, It should be more consistent. I'll definitely take that into consideration next time.
BTW, that sketch is awesome!
Well i thought I'd play around with colouring it today. I went for thicker, more solid lines rather than the sketchy look. Also changed a few bits (tits included). Critiques on both pieces? Which is better?

I think It's a nice idea. I doubt you'll ever see anyone with the same or similar tattoo, especially if you design it yourself. If it means something to you and you like the idea, go for it. Good luck. If you do get it done eventually, let us see the result!

keep working your entire life, it pays off. lots of REAL saggy tits.
Lovely how the only thing you mention is the tits. If you're going to critique the tits, atleast say how you think they could be improved. I wouldn't say they're saggy anyway; I was going for a larger natural breast with no support. They won't sit high like melons unless they're fake.
Heres a little something I just drew since posting the dragon. Took about an hour n a bit. Again, all from scratch, apart from the hands, which i used random pics from google for references. Hands can be difficult :/
Bewbs
Duh. Accidentally hit post before image had uploaded.
Hey all. I'm trying to start to draw more on the my new wacom I picked up a few weeks ago. I'd like some constructive criticism from anyone else with an arty eye. Also, feel free to throw ideas at me of things to draw, as I somtimes just go blank.
I'll leave you with a preview of my kind of stuff. I did this in an hour or two from scratch.
Girls toys are so much cooler than guys toys. They come in all shapes and sizes, and they get those double ones that go in the vajayjay and the butt at the same time!
Nice pun. But seriously if you ain't getting no head, you're missing out! A good blowjob is the best feeling! i sometimes would actually prefer a BJ than sex, thats how good a BJ can be.
