Gays are not generally discriminated where im from. I live in a country that is very open and accept homosexuality.
But I do not have a society that FORCES me to accept homosexuality since its a matter of choice to me

Ah yes, you're from Sweden. A country I actually admire greatly. But here in the UK, especially in my area, there can be a lot of hate towards gays. I get the impression that it might even be worse in the US since religion is a lot more prominent there.

Of course your choice of sexuality is.

So let me ask you this: How, if at all, is homosexuality "unnatural"? It occurs with other animals, too because that's what we are. Just animals. I really think this argument isn't really an argument, just a really poor justification to discriminate against something that was never really wrong in the first place.
Gonna play devils advocate here for a second.

Rape, or forced copulation/mating, occurs in other animals too, does that make it acceptable in human society, if we are, in fact "just animals?" It could be argued, then, that a rapist is just doing what comes naturally to him.

Yeah but as a species we have one thing in our nature that other animals don't, we have a concept of morality. We see what an impact something like rape has on a person, and as a species we punish those that do it.

Homosexual intercourse on the other hand harms no-one. It's two consenting adults that happen to be of the same gender having sex behind closed doors. There's honestly probably more psychological harm getting a prostate check than there is having sex with the same gender if you're actually attracted to the same gender.

Now another couple, man and man or woman and woman, kiss in public. Most people will either be disgusted (man on man) or find it "hot" (woman on woman). The difference between the 2 is that one recieves no response, while the other gets looks and remarks. Therefore, homosexuality is unnatural.

I don't really agree with this logic. It's irregular to see a gay couple kissing in public, not unnatural. The only reason it's irregular is because for the longest time, homosexuality has been deemed taboo due to religious scriptures.

They're only $1.99 each. And it's in 3D.

You're paying $1.99 for a fucking 4 minute video clip. Clips that you could easily watch on Youtube.

I'm sorry but that's a ridiculous price just for watching them in 3D. I don't think anyone should really support that kind of price because it sends the wrong type of messages to Nintendo and they'll carry on over-charging for content so long as we keep paying for it.

Response to: 3DS is getting video 3D recording. Posted October 21st, 2011 in Video Games

I think the concept of buying music videos for the amount they're charging is dumb. You can rent a whole movie on iTunes for, like $4. Nintendo really need to stop over-pricing shit on their eShop and take a look at why the iPhone app store is so successful.

Recording 3D videos and making stop motion on the other hand is really cool actually. I'm actually looking forward to that firmware upgrade especially since it's free.

People generally get surprised when they find out I'm 17. They sometimes think I'm older from the way I type and shit.

Honestly, the reason people think you're younger than you are is because of the way you type. This line in particular really gives me that impression:

According to NVidia, PC gaming will soon surpass console gaming in sales. A pretty bold claim don't you guys agree?

I never truly realized how much more advanced the PC really was until I saw that diagram they made. I mean, I knew it was more powerful by a lot but I didn't expect it to be THAT much. I expected modern cards to be around what the 8800 is estimated to be.

So, do you guys think that PC gaming will truly surpass the console market? With a strong community using services like Steam, it's not really that far fetched to me to be honest.

Scary Childhood Video Game Memories Posted September 21st, 2011 in Video Games

So have you guys played video games as a child that you probably shouldn't have been playing because of how scary it was?

I remember when I was about 5 or 6, playing a game on my brother's SNES called Another World. The intro section where you're walking around an open canyon and there's a beast stalking you in the background and as you just walk along the beast jumped in front of you and starts chasing you. That section right there scared the hell out of me as a kid.

Here a video of it incase you haven't played the game:

I've been meaning to get this game but I can't really afford it right now. I can really only afford one £30-£40 game every one or two months and the last game I got was Deus Ex.

It's a shame though because this game sounds like it's really awesome.

All caps rage over.
Steam has never been anything else then maybe the worst game-experience I have ever encoutered.

I once went to my local videogame store and picked up a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 and thought it would be awesome (and it is) I put the disk into the computer, installed the game, but when I was actually ready to play it said I had to be online on steam...

Did you not read the back of your copy L4D2? On my copy of L4D1 it says "You must activate this product via the internet by registering for a Steam account and accepting the SSA." I'm pretty sure L4D2 will say the same.

First of all: Why? Why do I have to run the game through Steam even when I only want some singleplayer action? And maybe I don't have internet conection which I didn't have at the time I bought the game. And no; I was not able to use Steam in offline mode because I had to log in first to be able to use offline... WTF?!

Internet is a pretty standard thing for any household these days. I think that anyone with with a PC good enough to run a game like L4D2 would more than likely have an internet connection.

But my brother he uses steam. He has a lot of games in the libary which is ok as long as he is conected to the internet. But then he gets hacked... 10-15 games that he payed for and installed to his computer was now unplayable because he did not have access to them? How come when the game still is installed? Again Steam is fucking with us.

Steam security has been improving. If you bought a Steam game retail, you can e-mail Steam support and get your account back quite easily.

And last time I thought about going online to steam the store didn't work and then it is pretty useless...

Are you kidding?

I also love to have my games in boxes and catridges. It is no fun having games stored like megabites on a HDD...

This is personal preference. I presonally feel that with the download speeds that we have these days, cartridges and disks are quickly becoming outdated.

So why the fuck do people love Steam so much? If I want to play computergames then I have to find the real old ones like LEGO Rock Raiders and Roller Coaster Tycoon. I play games like Dragon Age, Portal and Call of Duty on my PS3.

You... played... Portal... on the PS3? I feel sorry for you...

Also as to why I love Steam so much. It probably has something to do with the Instant Messaging, the sales and the fact that you can update your video drivers through Steam.

I hope Steam dies!

Real mature.
