I think you have some interesting ideas and you can express them well, more than I can say for certain people. Usually what I'm worried about is people having no structure in their ideas whatsoever. I think you'll fit in fine.

I have no idea how good I am. Personally I felt like i repeated my self about three times. Really I dont see how good I am unless I am compared or "reviewed" by someone else. It's nice to hear something atleast a little good once in a while.

Oh yea, this is the only topic where I actually post like a civilized being.

Oh well fuck it. I'm tired of waiting. Now you said for me to write what i think about it. Well I woudn't really know how to do that at the moment, so now I am going to respond to each of the paragraphs with a responce. Well almost all of them.

At 11/19/09 05:15 AM, MattTheParanoidKat wrote: Sir, there is something about your words that I find profoundly negative. I don't know, there is something about them that your entire basis just... pisses me off.

It's a pessimistic state of mind that the human species is grounded by fear. I find it that insulting, and that any one who says that is a weak-minded individual.

Firstly, before I dive back into the topic I started I believe that humans are capable of doing things that improve society. There are emotional factors behind their actions but there is usually a far better reasoning behind everything. So, yes fear does factor into some of the choices that humans make, but ultimately Humans decide for themselves the choices they make and all emotional factors are rather minimal.

While fear may factor into the choices, I would say it is, somewhat, at the core of some of people's
reasoing. On to your last sentace, you said all emotional factors are minimal. This is not true. Emotions are what compell them to do such things. Why kill people? Is it because of anger, jelously, boredom? So yes while emotions are part of some choices it is still a big part of things.

I for one am not dictated by fear. But your basis is not unreasonable, just weak. After all, people do have real and perfectly natural fears. It's natural to feel fear. However, and this is really getting back to the point of morality; that if there wasn't a fear based morality that every other basis would not exist. Which I find very pessimistic. It says that fear keeps people in line. Which is the exact purpose of religion. Like i said, George Carlin said it better than any many past or present could have.

Not dicated by fear? How are you certain? How are we all certain that fear does not control some small part of our lives that we ourselves are not capable of noticing or understanding. On to fear again, yes it might keep people in line, yet again it might not. Religion is full of fear, but i have dictaded it to be bullshit. While even if it is true, I will not waste my life wasting over worring if I will go to heaven or hell. And maybe I have the fear of wasting my life which will cause me to do this. Who knows?

The guideline wouldn't exist without fear? I am not happy with that statement. Like I said, my basis for not doing anything that people would consider "wrong" is I lack a reason to do so. But also, fear is not my reason. I have too much hope for the human race that I do not wish ill on them.

Some things, that are human, you need to wish ill upon. You might have to do some "wrong" things in people's eyes that are for the better, the neutral, or the lesser evil.

Plus, lets say that religious morality based on fear did not exist. You know how grand this world would be without that excess baggage? We could have reached the ends of the galaxies and our minds would probably understand our place in the cosmos a hell of a lot more. Because of mny optimism I find that commetn laughable. I guess you just don't trust humans that much. Probably for good reason.

Morality is opinion based. Withought people just blindly listening to what religion tells them to do people could form their own. Of course this would somehow change minds about right/wrong and who knows what laws would be changed. I once read that if Christianity did not exist, the Romans could have put a man on the moon.

I believe without this fear-based morality that our minds would have wandered and our natural curiosity will kick in and tell us to explore every facet of our free will. Ones concept of morality differs from the next. So they're all subjective to our own perceptions of the universe. One's morality might be something along the lines that if one person kills another, then the killer must be killed. But there is a faulty paradox to that. If that person kills, then he must be killed. It's stupid and irrational to think that way. Hence why so many laws based around fearful actions have been revoked. Still waiting for the one about Homosexuality to be revoked, but we as a society have come along way to better ourselves so it's just a matter of time that these idiot laws based on archaic and prejudice texts are gone.

Homosexuality is another example of fear. When you see an alien in the movie, what do people do? They shoot it. People fear what they do not understand. I, however, do not to a certain extent. People do not understand gay people, neither do I since I'm not one, so they must subdue fear and submissiveness from them. Fearing that they might rebel up or something.

Laws. That's a funny word too. Not saying that laws are bad as a law implies order.... unfortunately the Laws we have don't have absolute order. As in they must be obeyed regardless. I see human laws as just rules with harsh, but ultimately fair punishments. Depending on the crime. So, not bad, but stupid to call them laws. In the sense that there is a Law of gravity that everything has to obey.

I say this, because not everyone obey's laws. These people don't fear the people they want to victimize. They have their own morality and morals that are usually based upon a fear. Killing a bunch of people out of fear, raping them out of fear. It's not positive and it doesn't keep people in line for long.

It might not, but either the law could catch them, or they commit suicide. Why suicide? Because they fear the law might get to them. Fear of the law.

The reality is, that no matter what happens to a person, and yes I am getting off topic again. But, people are resilient. They can handle some of the most horrible circumstances and still be able to deal with them. They aren't afraid. Fear is something that must be confronted, and dealt with. Life is really too damn short to fear others.

Fear might be something that must be confronted, but everyone has a breaking point. Even if they do not reach it, some side-affects could occur. We should confront fear, but not fearing our own fear.

I think I am drawing a blank. After all, I didn't feel like posting at all, but I felt I had to respond in some way.

I think I'm done with your "test". Probably sucked at it too.

I KNOW THAT. Havnt they been in the 4th grade for like what 9 seasons now? when 3rd to 4th took only 4 im just saying HAVE THEM IN THE 5TH GRADE FOR ONCE
Because then they would have to get rid of Mr. Garrison again and have to introduce a new teacher like Mrs Choksondik when they went to fourth. Then they killed off Mrs. Choksondik and made Mr. Garrison the replacement teacher. They'd have to do the same fucking thing again

The princible decides to make Mr.Garrison the new teacher for that class of students because he has the most experiance delaing with them and it is their last year of school their. Then he will go back to teaching 4th/3rd grade
