I'm currently in the process of putting together a series of animations in conjunction with my comic, Pointless Conversations. These 1-2 minute cartoons will firstly act as an advert for the comic itself, and if they prove popular enough, then maybe they can become separate incarnations.

What I'm after is a voice actor who can perform the voices for both, or either, of the characters. The two characters themselves are nameless, but I tend to refer to them as Lefty and Righty...for obvious reasons! Lefty is rather simple, open-minded and a little dumb, while Righty is sceptical and downtrodden; but, as with most double acts, they're both idiots. Other than that, how you interpret them is up to you.

On the Facebook page you'll find a section with a series of 'Quickie' cartoon strips. Ideally, we'd like you to provide the voice(s) for the , but if you'd like to pick another, that's cool. You can also provide a voice for snippets of the full comics, which are available via Amazon and other online retailers.

Basically, your submission will act as a test, so myself and the animator can judge how the strip would work, and then, with your help, push on with production of a longer animation.

Hello there, my name is Leo Tierney and I have recently completed a short CG film that may interest you all called Battle Legends!

'Battle Legends' is an original story of two young gamers who, against their will, are transported back to a fantastical time with orcs, paladins and dragons, only equipped with their brains and skills to help them survive. It then chronicles their tales as they attempt to get back home or stay.

In this short film I tried to recreate the original feel of 90s anime cartoons that some of us grew up with, but instead of using hand drawn images I created everything with 3d cel shades to give the illusion of 2d images.

Hello there!
I am currently in production of an animation series set in a fantastical era filled with orcs, dragons and such, however I am in need of a voice actor who can play one of the lead characters, who happens to be a paladin.
The role would be described as a heroic leader almost along the lines of Arthas from Warcraft lore.

"Come on! This area will be swarming with orcs soon! We have to get to Temventis Keep!"

Obviously, the voice actor will have to have access to at least some sort of mic for this.
Since this is a micro budget series, I won't be able to pay you but your name will be credited and a DVD containing a high rez copy of the series will be sent to you.
There is no specific deadline for this, but if you happen to send your recording to me after I've decided on an actor then I will let you know and keep your recording on file for a future production.
