I've been studing this for 2 weeks straight and STILL can NOT get it..

Does any Newgrounder have any idea on how PDF viewers in flash work?

I understand by looking at it, that it runs on AS3 somehow and has XML...But thats about it.

Step 1
Choose File > Import to import an image that will become a button. Locate the image and click Open. The image will be saved in the Library.

Step 2
Select the image with the Arrow tool.

Step 3
Convert the image to a symbol. Choose Insert > Convert to Symbol from the top menu. Name the symbol "button", choose Button from the Behavior list and click OK.

Step 4
Right click on the image. Choose Actions from the pop-up menu.

Step 5
In the Object Actions box click on the + sign. Choose Basic Actions > Get URL.

Step 6
Enter a full URL in the URL field (like http://www.w3schools.com).

Step 7
Choose target in the Window field. Close the Object Actions box.

Step 8
Choose Control > Test Movie from the top menu to test your Flash movie.

Google ish the best.

Well, I'm starting the third version of Pull n' Release, and I'm bound to spend some time on this. But so far, I have a problem with the main screen of the game..

It seems to lag when the swf it self is loaded, but If I test it in it's Fla, it runs smooth and perfect.
Is it because of the blur filter?

First, find the object you want to blur ( must be a text or movie clip )
After you do, highligh it and look down where it says actions and ect. Look for the tab that says " Filters " and click it. Then click the little blue + sign and click blur.
Tada! You can also adjust your blur, or motion tween bluring.
I do not recommend using to many filters though.

Just a guess, try breaking the graphic apart, then putting it back into a graphic. Now try it again. If that dosn't work, I'm not completly sure

I found an old book in my room on a story I made called 86'th calibur.
Basically it's about a hero ( of course ) who is chosen to be a calibur, the 86'th to be exact.
A calibur is someone chosen by the Shadow Orginization to destory the world. Most obviously, sense he is the 86'th one, there was 85 attempts before him.
The thing is, the main hero, is a hero and must face the other caliburs that look down on him in disguss!
