But i have had an idea... *light blub*

just give this a bit of thought... how about instead of a long wispy tree of artist... have a few mods or something as your Scouters... and only they can scout?... that way there wouldnt have to be so much moderation on the artportal nor would any rubbish get in*

* - as long as the submissions they make are at the same standard as before...

then instead of blocks of users getting unscouted... only the BEST art is in the art portal... then everyone can view the riff raff of artists in a different area... and any problems in the main art portal can be whisled by views and then reviewed and that artist removed or black listed...

also another thought... how about users who break the art fourm rules / get unscouted have some sort of message when you go to scout them... (telling you why the user was unscouted) so you can scout users who are more trust worthy to stop further collapses in the future?

just a thought...

i was under the impression that only people you scout... yourself and the person that scouted you would cause an unscout if any one of the people mentioned messes up... but now i understand that the whole brance snaps of from the weak point no matter what fruit is growing on the end... *why am i going so indepth with this tree idea???.. lol*... like so one pointed out early on for the art portal... say in like 5 years time... one of the people right at the core of the tree system lets rubbish in... and removed... a whole side of the art portal would just crumble and slowly be picked back up... dont get me wrong.. the idea is there to stop rubbish getting in... but it effects all the users afterwards beacuse of that ONE user... like at school for example... when ONE kid is naughty... the WHOLE class as to stay behind... its not really fair for them who try to keep a tight grasp on the quality of work coming in when some trigger happy goons who want (Lol look at my uber high scout count) goes off the rails and everyone with them... the one scout a day is a good idea and stops people mass scouting... along with the four art picture before you can be scouted now... im not angry / upset i was unscouted... i know il be rescouted one day... i just think its a bit lame how the whole thing is screwed over by one user... also i think some of the quality of artwork in the portal should be a tad higher...

ah though so... i went up my tree a few times and im sure a user had something like 74 scouts... i knew i was going to get unscouted at some point in the future :P

i take it one you have been scouted you cant unscout yourself to get rescouted by anyone else... im not keen on this system at the moment... im sure its either going to grow on me or just be a love / hate thing... thanks for clearing that up turkey :P

also i was thinking... for some reason i was unscouted today... but i have no idea whos fault it was... i think it would be a great idea to see whos fault it was... at the moment i have no idea if it was my fault *dont think it was* or the people i scouted... *or the person that scouted me :S*

anway... it might just be beacuse i havent got four artworks up yet :S who knows

so the question is... has anyone done it yet.. and if so is there a walk though to tell you what to do!

theres now only ONE piece of art for each user... AND it only shows users who have submitted FOUR more more artworks... :3

However... i feel that the art portal is very rapidly turning into a porn portal... :S

Crouch where i was standing in that picture... press the right key.... keep it pressed and the press S to jump... you will make it across in one go... let go off down and then walk across... have fun with that next bit :P

lots of ways to do this first bit... so il stick with the easy one

land on crab1's head... then keep your finger on the righ button to land on the 2nd
wait for hedge hog to fall down... then run and jump when you have room to and you should land infront of the crab... jump again (let go of A while in the air to stop you running off)
land on rock placform... jump to the next one and run and jump all the way... getting the 2nd / 3rd spring on the board and keep your finger on the righ key... you should land in that little coner bit... jump up the step and run flat out and jump at the last moment OUT of the map keep your finger on the right key and press JUMP as much as you can... you will land on the top of the second block and then jump off it to land just infront of some crabs... jump on them if you wish but watch out for the invisable block (you know when you find it :P)... wait for the crab to fall down the hole and then jump across... jump up and press down and right to slide a bit under... then stand up and walk... do the same under the letter G to get inside... jump and crouch and right to get onto the of the wall and then jump again to land ontop... jump across and onto the crab to kill it... run and jump to clear the hedgehog and land on the slope of N with the snail in... RUN and jump to the right to get into there... walk to the right and drop down onto the slime trail... move to the far left of the slime and press a... when the other snail falls off (disapears) RUN to the righ and press down (crouch) at the last second.... bash the jump key to and keeping your finger on the righ button to make it across ... hop up the steps.... NOW!!!... DONT JUMP ONTO THE NEXT PLACFORM... either run and drop or just drop... THEN run and jump to the next... you will now see rockets... walk to the far edge off the placform you are now on (so your not gona fall of... just need a bit of a run up)... when the nearst rocket to you touches the top of the screen RUN and JUMP at the last second and keep your finger on the right button press JUMP lots of times... (might have to let go of the right button if you got to much speed) you will then make it to the next placform... walk to the right to lose the spawner of the rockets so they stop spawning... now wait for the single armadilo to come over... make sure you have room to land on it and fall back to the LEFT.... now... it will roll into a ball once you land on its head... just jump on it (slightly on the left side) and it will kill the other two... take a huge running jump (dont land on them X's) to get to the next one... run and jump again to make it to the 2nd floating single block... then run and jump (off the single block) and land on the right of that X block... now crouch and press the right key and keep it pressed down... then press jump.... you will make it across the jump... stand up and walk to the right... hop up onto that plac form and that is where i am at... i dont know what to do now... i tried to jump and keep the right key pressed and press RUN while falling to see if i could get the speed + distance up... but it didnt work... :S

(side step left... side step righ. forward one space, backwards one space turn 3 full times to the left, turn 3 full times to the right... now the tricky part... jump forward and sping around to face the otherway... to go to the next level... the anwser is NO... no matter how many 0's it gets or what ever the score is... it will remain in the portal... unless a admin / the user who uploaded it... deletes it...

the art collab medals WORK FINE... it is an issue your side of things... be it a sever issue or an add blocker...

that new game (last man) is starting to get on my nerves... each time i get further theres a new little nasty waiting for me... how long is it!!!... gahhh

i just used, goblins / zombies / dwarfs / mermaids / witches and mostly fire and ice spells

the mermaids and witches keep knocking him back while the zombies act as a shield to stop him going very far... goblins are there for support if things go tits up... use of well timed fire spells are great :3

this has always been the case... alot of crap gets into the portal due to the fact people vote on things they know will pass other then vote on the quality...

you will always get some one once and a while making a small thread about the topic... this user is told the same thing every time...
