reminds me of cloud with that giant sword... needs a bit of work with the lines, but good for you for trying some bizzare angles... :3

um... ok... lets go back again and start with paper and pens... theres nothing wrong with MS paint (apart from the new one ¬¬) as a program... its simple and works without crashing (apart from the new one)...

there is nothing fantastic about some blobs stuck together... either make something that shows some scuplting skill or post some pictures as at the moment there really isnt much going on...

just want to jump on in on this...

i want to bring up posemaniac's again beacuse it seems to have been overlooked...

if your just starting out... use this for a few days... spend around 10-20 mins doing 30 second sketches from a pose it gives you... i know you want to draw girls... but learning the male form is also good pratice... you can see the differences rather quickly and learn how to make things look more female is its starting to look a tad male...

why do 30 second drawings?.... well it FORCES you to spend less time on detail and more on the basic form of the body... you will quickly learn what shapes make up the basic form and how to addapt them adding a few lines here and there... theres no point in taking a picture from the internet and just using it as a reference to draw from... i do that as pratice but never put them in my art portal beacuse i dont feel that its my own, like what orney said....

so your step by step plan from me would be to spend time studying the human form on such simple websites like posemaniacs to learn the basic form... even use one of your 30 second scribbles to work from... then build up from there... only once you got the basic idea should you start looking into completeing a picture...
