Righto... i have changed how i am getting there... im driving from Telford to Stafford and getting a train because its cheaper then.

A) driving to manchester
B) catch a train from telford to manchester

only costing me £18 including parking :D

im going to be turning up at manchester piccadilly station around 10am... so i got some time to kill :3

Just had a quick look at that Kyoto Lounge just in case i fail to get there on time... that place looks bloody epic!... screw you london and your arcade area... this place looks the bomb!

had a quick flick through the pages...

a folded down chair that's folded up with a touch of blood sounds good...

really like the golf club / baseball bat * although that's currently level 17 atm* / fish of some sort

as long as the golden bow is still knocking around, i really dont care... :3

and here is a close up of my working table... black glass and silver finish :D... you can only just make out my tablet, i have a couple of lego figures up on the top rack and a few 40k models im currently painting though... i like every minimalistic and clean... *also note my wine making gear bottom right :P*

so yeah... some lovely wallpaper ¬¬... a sofa and chair, my pc and light...

points of interest - my cool clock, my handmade bitey in the lampstand. a print out of my request done by bizarrojoe in his whore for a day thread. and the table behind my chair where i store all my important paperwork and crap...

Pfff... i took part in a 40k game using over 100,000 points in total... i think there was around 30-40 players... it was back in 2009. we used the whole hall with two 8x4 tables and nine 6x4 tables with gaps so we could move in-between... we were limited to only 15mins per phase *so max 45mins per side turn* i was using a mix of choas and deamons... took us half the day to complete... needless to say we got thrashed trying to attack a line of guard and titans... we were outnumbered in all fairness :P... here are some picture... if you look closesy you can see my lava painted land raider with LED lights :3... *i only had 7k worth of points*

You have a style Joe... a fantastically beautiful style that no one else has... most people would kill to be able to have a style to call their own, and you have your own style... and not only that, you do it bloody well... sure you have your triangle styled girls, but you have proven to be able to do more complexed line work and art when ever someone has asked...

I personally love your artwork and would hate to see it come to an end.

Now let them artistic juices flow and splurge some artwork in my eyes :D

I like them as they are to be honest, i dont want to see these shortened and i love the amount of pictures and story behind them... making them shorter just makes it less awesome, I would rather read the book then read a "in a nutshell" page... i dont know that much about comics to be fair either... but this is just my personal view on the topic... cant wait to see what the next one is going to be like :D

love the two comics so far... they are funny because they are true...

Ok, this is my view on the topic...

First of all... the guy cant draw... i don't care if i am offensive because i'm an art snob and i know what i like... and bitmap tracing is right up there in the category titled "shit you don't do"...

if you look at other art by the same guy you can CLEARLY see that he is not able to apply lines in the same fashion as the traced pictures, i tried to acquire the original picture for the first one but he did not deliver... that was a week ago... he had a chance back then to clear it all up... defending a losing battle is just going to make things worse...

Now, as XWarrior61 pointed out... there are areas where the lines are so sharp that the color doesn't go all the way to the end... flood fill you say? nope, it is the work of a computer, doing art in flash for a couple of years teaches you how computers do things art wise... there are a few more points on the same picture where the background image is showing through... if this was painstakingly done by hand over the course of 3 hours or what ever he said, there is no way you would cock up that many times...

HOWEVER

i have the same thing goes with the other picture... i believe he had touched up the image afterwards if he did bitmap trace, the glasses and eyes are too clean, and the logo on the shirt has been put on afterwards, and the logos on the neck band are removed. i have been messing around in flashmx's bitmap trace but i cant seem to get the right balance/contrast to make the lines the same, its something i haven't really used before other to break pictures down and play with them in flash, now im 100% that has been bitmap traced or something somehow and then followed up with some touch up work to improve the picture?....

however these are my thoughts...

i always found it odd that the "N" word was perfectly acceptable if two black people talked to each other... but as soon as a white person said it... it became offensive... it might be because im english, but i just dont understand the "N" word... i dont use it because to me it seems silly, the "C" word is the one to avoid in England as it seems to offend everyone :P...

when will people grow up and talk like adults and understand that words are just words and stop been offended by everything... its like everything is going backwards and upside down at the same time.

nowadays everything has sex, drugs and booze posted everywhere... yet we now need to be careful about hurting someone's feelings or saying some that could be used out of context?... the English and Australians have all ways poked fun at each other... why cant everyone else take lead... i recall been called a limey and various other English person slag terms... yet im not going to raise my finger and call them a racist...
