wonder if they are going to keep this 1 vote per user... i can see allot of the top 10 flashes/games and art becoming rather static....

I'm a tad annoyed that people managed to deposit exp yesterday seen as you only had a few hours to do it in and not the normal 24 hours, i wasn't going to wait up till 5am for that small chance the site might come back up, seen as i did get on for about 10 seconds before it crashed around the 1am mark... oh well eh...

its still all a bit awkward getting used to things, and things not been where they were before and what not...

the thing that's going to annoy me the most is peoples *auras* been chosen due to the colour it is rather then what they do on the site...

User1: I do nothing on this site other then make bbs posts in general... and im going to have my background for my icon blue because it goes well... and people will confuse me with someone who can program -_-

after spending most of yesterday checking NG, i finally managed to get on for 10 seconds before it crashed around 1am today... *uk time*... the site went back down and i was tempted to stay up untill 5am to see if it would go live so i could at least deposit for the day... however i had work the same day and i wasnt going to risk pulling a all night stand for a website that i didnt know would start up again... so i went to sleep

also a quick google came up with a couple of picture that might help you out...

due to the way you have draw the legs towards the camera you need the arm to work within these limits and no extend in its own way... it makes it look awkward and wrong somehow...

have a look at these images and hopefully you can see what i mean...

Left: arm like how you have it now, but legs different
Right: legs towards camera , (shortening) arm

once again, my views and you do what you want :3

I think i know what it was now... after pulling the rather awkward pose myself in the lab, i think you might have to shorten her left arm and aim it away from her slightly... try pulling the pose yourself and looking where your arm goes and how it would look from the angel you are drawing it... at first i thought it was too large but now i think its because its in the wrong position, could just be me, but it was flagging up in my mind that there was something wrong with that left arm i couldn't work out...

Also i'm glad you are taking advice and working with it unlike many people who shun or ignorer the advice and carry on making similar mistakes :3, happy painting/drawing/sketching!

that's more like it!... sorry my lines aren't that clear... its just where I carried on the lines a bit to much...

that's a good base to work from not i think, might want to just thin her left arm a touch... like just inside the current line as it looks slightly chunkier then the top half of the same arm... but that might be nit picking now :]

No time for medal whoring anymore... I got a ton of artwork to do, so im happy stuck at 66660 medal points for now... I wont be surprised if I drop off the list over time... thanks for the list :3

Ok, I'm not great at art... but here is what I think needs changing...

the tummy is too wide and needs slight refining *just but line to help shape*
slight thinning of the upper legs... ( I have a tendency to make bulky legs as well)
also i feel the head is to far forwards and off centre... bringing it back and up a bit makes her pose much more alert and if though she is actually paying attention to who ever she is waving at.
also some might need to change some lines a touch on the upper arms... and shoulders.

possibly make her head a tad bigger as well... the outline i did is without the hair...

but this is just my view on it...

side note... upload a bigger picture and remove the white space like mine, thanks

Although i don't know much about the redesign and levels *if they are adjusted or not*... will have to wait and see... but from what i know / have seen it looks good

i thought i would play along with this... i always wondered how long i could last... but without a reason not to there was no point... so... quick recap, day 1 = uneventful... and now day 2 is also uneventful... i haven't drawn any girls in a while but im hoping my will power is going to be high enough to cope... currently drawing a lot of hands (no pun/side meaning intended)... practice makes perfect :3

I have to agree and disagree.. her hands are nearly the same size... but the fact that one is on the edge of the picture *so it has a double thick black line* makes it look huge... i like it... and it would most likely look better if it was in a game where everyone had a double think edge... but as a stand along pixel girl, nah...

as for the other picture... i like them lots, keeping your nice clean simple lines and your cool face/funky style works well... i know you want to try other things but you already got a unique style going on...

Good to see I'm moving up. However over time its going to come down to who has the highest level as that's going to be the hardest thing to get in to the top X amount... luckily I'm already placed in the top 300 so as long as i keep up the religious depositing i should be good... just got to creep up the B/P points... also, I'm not keen on the roughness of the opening picture... its like half of it inked and half of it is still sketch lines, its not clean cut enough for my liking... seems to rough and dirty. doesn't seem to have a nice consistency
