Right now alot of shortcomings are masked by polish, and alot of people do this, so you need to spend some time, I think, working out angles and sighting form, because he is hideous. The work itself is fine, but where things are placed and how they appear with respect the everything else is a wee bit off kilter.
Not to regress, but I don't quite understand what you mean by angles. The gradient part I do get, however...otherwise, you mine being a bit more specific?
