I reckon even Barca would struggle against Stoke at the Brittannia (cold Wednesday night at Stoke etc). Probably one of the worst away games you're gonna play, considering the injuries we picked up. I do like Stoke, I just really hate playing them.
I hate hate HATE Stoke away....
I forgot the Norwich - Sunderland game!
Norwich 2 - 2 Sunderland
PREDICTION TIME!
Saturday
Man City 2-0 Everton
Arsenal 2-1 Bolton
Chelsea 3-1 Swansea
Liverpool 1-1 Wolves
Newcastle 1-0 Blackburn
West Brom 0-1 Fulham

But yeah, well played to Pogba, Cole and Fryers before his injury. And Berba at centre back? we do what we want!
Unforunately spoiled a little bit by a few arseholes singing about Istanbul. People like that can't be considered football fans, let alone Manchester United fans.

Hey, it's the Carling Cup and we're playing what seems to be our third team (if Pogba and co play). However I want them to do well because I wanna see our youth pay off, especially Pogba who looks fantastic.
But yeah, I can't really deny that it's always a pleasure to beat Leeds, so bring it on ;)
Pogba starting tonight.. exciting stuff! Some young players starting and the chance to beat the scum! ;D

A pathetic week for pretty much everyone, though very well done to Ejit and Ledgey for impressive scores despite the crazy results. No point including a 'worst predicted result' as a huge number weren't predicted by anyone!
5 correct results... digging that 8)
also Gagsy, did Rooney's penalty miss remind you of 2008 by any chance? :3
What a day though! 2 points clear and Liverpool lose, I don't think it could have been any better...
Wow.. I've only just managed to check the scores... really Arsenal? Just... what.
Did anyone see the game? How did they play? (I can only presume terribly)
Blackburn 1 v 2 Arsenal
Aston Villa 1 v 1 Newcastle
Bolton 1 v 1 Norwich
Everton 2 v 0 Wigan
Swansea 0 v 0 West Brom
Wolverhampton 1 v 2 QPR
Tottenham 0 v 1 Liverpool
Fulham 1 v 2 Man City
Sunderland 1 v 0 Stoke
Man Utd 9 v 0 Chelsea (ok 2-1)
Dreading next Sunday. You and me both, sister. :XX
I'll explain that, as much as I'm looking forward to us playing Chelsea, I think it's always a difficult game for us. Not to mention I really like the look of some of your new signings... Still, I think we can take you, especially at OT.
OMG, TOTTENHAM HAD A RUN IN THE CL AND MADE IT TO THE QUATERFINALS, THEY MUST BE AN ELITE TEAM. KEEP IN MIND THAT EVEN MY WHITES MADE IT TO THE SEMIFINALS OF THE CL 10 YEARS AGO, SO BY YOUR LOGIC, IT MEANS THAT LEEDS ARE AN ELITE TEAM AS WELL, NO?
Hey hey hey! We never said elite team, we said good team! Don't be getting carried away now ;D
By the way, like your guys who still have the PL and the CL to worry about, next Tuesday's game will be our only meaningful game of the season since promotion won't be an option until Bates dies. With that being said, the Leeds players will all be fired up for the game. Advantage Leeds. :P
No doubt Leeds will be fired up and intending to prove something, but alas even though it's a small game for us it's always nice to get one up over Leeds :)
Dreading next Sunday.
You and me both, sister. :XX
Since when did Tottenham become a good team?
Of course they are! Maybe not top four material but their run in the Champion's League was incredible and they have some world class players. Would be ridiculous to assume otherwise!
I cannot wait for your excuses when your Reds lose out to my Whites again next Tuesday. :P
I wish I was in the country for that game, it's always nice to see United trash Leeds ;)
I wonder how your Devils will perform when they come up against a good team (Arsenal do not count).
Very well, apparently. We've beaten Tottenham and made laughing stocks of the City mercenaries with our youth team. And beating any team 8-2 is an amazing feat, especially considering we were on our second choice back four (who are brilliant to watch). Exciting times ahead.
And anyway, using that line of logic the same could be said about City. They've battered Wigan, Swansea and Tottenham (who according to you isn't a big team, however there's little doubt that they're not at their strongest). They haven't had the hardest of times... But yeah, whatever they can do, we can do better without having to spend hundreds of millions.
Fuck you Gyan, you were supposed to get me fantasy team points >:(
also lol laverpol

Sunderland 1 - 2 Chelsea
Wolves 2 - 2 Tottenham
Bolton 1 - 3 Manchester United
Norwich 0 - 0 West Brom
Fulham 2 - 1 Blackburn
QPR 1 - 0 Newcastle

Damnit Gagsy... I laughed a bit :( <3
I watched the Netherlands game today with a bunch of drunk dutch people shouting DIN DIN DIN DIN (ten). Oh my god it's more entertaining than watching England.

So he can get ready to sign for United in January? :D
But yeah, I think United's activity in January obviously depends on how well Cleverly does in that time period. If he's not just ready yet (although I believe that he already has the capability to compete on the highest level) then we'll probably go for maybe Modric or who knows, maybe even Sneijder. However I've always had faith in SAF's ability and we've stunned England with our youth before! Time for another swing.

My knowledge of MLS is pretty limited to our pre-season tours and who LA Galaxy are buying next so I don't know too much. However, I'm interested in America having a strengthened league and being more involved with the game. Perhaps I should start watching bits.

I totally wasn't! He's a good buy after his performance last season ;) shame about Modric for you guys though, and with us... would have loved to see him at United ;_; And don't remind me, they've already messaged me about it :X
Not sure which fans I feel more sorry for, Everton or Newcastle.
Has to be Everton, 0 buys (or did they actually get someone?) and selling one of their most influential players... Though bit of sympathy to the magpies (or as much sympathy I can give to a geordie).
Lol Meireles.
Overall a pretty boring D-Day and once again Everton is looking weaker... Not arsed about Sneijder, though I'm disappointed that the saga just died rather than anything spectacular happening. Still, I maintain that there was always a possibility he was gonna sign.

In all honesty I don't think we necessarily need him, but the way the saga has panned out at times I've been certain he'll come, only for it to break down again. If he didn't come, I wouldn't lose sleep (though I would lose a couple pints) but if he did, I'd be excited.
Also digging the prediction table system, Sentio
I've been telling everyone that Sneijder will sign for United. Tomorrow is a big day for me. I have at least two pints riding on him coming.
Also guys, remember to sign up to the fantasy league :)
