that feel when on the brink of putting a 2-1 Liverpool victory...

Be glad Ledgy that at least when you do play shit you still mostly manage to win. I'd take that little attribute right about now.

Yeah, dunno what's up with Chelsea :x defending has been poor

On to the prem anyone else think Man U aren't looking at all convincing?

I completely agree and once again it's down to our central midfield. We haven't been the same since Cleverly got injured and now we have Anderson out. We might panic buy in the January window but we needn't worry, as long as Cleverly comes back from injury with his top form.

Until then, we'll just do what we do best: battle out wins. Not pleasant to watch :X

in regards to this racism row, there have been some annoying reactions. Obviously we have Blatter's comments but concerning Pat, the reactions of Liverpool and their fans has been disgraceful. Firstly, pointing the finger at him for repeated false accusations, which is a load of bullshit considering he was never the one who reported those incidents. Secondly, we've had Dalglish saying that if it's proved wrong then Pat should b e punished, which is so idiotic it's unreal - all it would do is discourage players who are authentically exposed to racism from actually reporting it.

Suarez is definitely capable of doing this, but obviously he's innocent until proven.

Whilst Silent Hill 2 is the best one, I wouldn't say it's the scariest. That'd probably go to 3 or 4... screw homecoming

Another high scoring week, with us equalling the highest weekly average so far. Ledgey has equalled Ejit's record score, but even from beyond the internet, Sentio weighs in with an impressive score to keep his lead at the top.

Don't worry, I'll grab that top spot sooner or later..!

Bloody Ledgey, it's only because he copied my Newcastle Everton score, cheeky git.

it was such a nice score, I just couldn't resist <3

and cheers HH, for doing the results 8)

Foobar has the option to move files about to any format you want (for example, mine are the pretty standard artist/album/track number. title.mp3 sort of layout) based on the tags. So assuming all your artists are spelled correctly and have the right albums and so on and so forth you can just select all your music, right click, chose file operations and hit "move to".

What 5 things would you change about the world of football in order to make it a better place?

Also after the weekend (I have a friend over) I'll make a half decent post about this, since I've been talking about it a lot with friends recently.

Super Mario Brothers?
Theatre of NIGHTMARES?

I do enjoy terrible headlines for these big footballing moments.

Makes me happy I'm not in England right now...

It has similar significance. Perhaps slightly worse considering it was at home.

We played terribly, we can't escape that no matter what. However, it's a result we can build on and improve the best we can.

Furthermore, I dislike how fans were leaving 20 minutes before the final whistle.

Response to: Newgrounds Football Club - Ngfc Posted October 23rd, 2011 in Clubs & Crews

Wow, absolutely disgusting result. We only have ourselves to blame. Made it next to impossible for ourselves to pull it back after that red card, and I don't know why we didn't play Vidic.

Is this what everyone has been predicting? Our downfall? Not at all. City gave a good performance, but we're traditionally slow starters and we just need to get past this defeat with a victory. Once Cleverley comes back we can focus on doing what we do best, nurturing the best team in the country and the world. After a few amazing games, we've not been ourselves and we can't let this become habit.

And it's our destiny, I mean what other team is more fitted to defeating City's billions? :)

Response to: Military Draft Posted October 16th, 2011 in General

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's slavery, but nevertheless conscription is not at all ideal and should be avoided at all costs. Personally, if I had a choice between serving in the military or prison, I'd go for the former but for a non-combat role.

There's always typical discussion here in the UK about reintroducing military service for a certain age of peoples, which would be wrong both morally and practically and would be impossible to enforce.

I don't think any manager could successfully manage the current England squad.
Jamie Redknapp thinks we need an English manager

I hear that a lot and I don't get it, people just assume that the manager being English will make everything better but what about McClaren? He's not such a bad manager (dare I say he's very good) but he did terribly for England. I think for the past 10 or so years England have been unmanageable. England have a new batch of players coming through so perhaps there can be some progress, but who knows.

I do think however they need a new manager, regardless of whether or not they're English.

Response to: Newgrounds Football Club - Ngfc Posted October 7th, 2011 in Clubs & Crews

Nothing against Capello who is a good manager, but he is just not tough enough to manage a drama-filled national team like England.

Hard week for predictions, especially with two derbies going on...

Response to: Newgrounds Football Club - Ngfc Posted September 29th, 2011 in Clubs & Crews

I'm slightly concerned about our draw, because of our defensive slip ups. I think Ferdinand is getting past it now and he looked far slower. Nevertheless, I'm not worried about the campaign. Manchester United, especially in the Champions League are traditionally slow starters. Was similarly worrying when we drew against Rangers at OT (though we didn't concede 3 goals then...).

I just hope our form doesn't dip too much and we could do with Rooney being back (especially since he's my FT captain >:( ).

Defending easier? All I've heard people say is that the defending is 10x harder... it's now not just a case of pressing a button to defend. Plus the majority of things I've heard about the game are positive. with a few minor things. I can't really say until the 30th, but until then it sounds to me like you're over-reacting like fuck.
