Maybe it's a temporary coincidence, but it seems like 3/4 of all movies submitted get protected. It's hard to keep your blam/protect balanced.
In the scheme of things I see Belgium as a rich, developed country. And it can never be Belgium alone, stupid. Ever heard of the European Union? If you think they are insignificant, I laugh in your face.
When I started this thread, I had no intention to in any way insult Americans. I had no idea you were going to be this offended.
So one, or even a few, americans did something that the thread-started didn't care for. So freakin' what? That's what life is...learning how to deal with things that might rub you the wrong way.

"some Americans" are more prudish? Thats the stupidest thing I ever heard. With that reasoning I could go into your hometown, find a schizophrenic and say "Wow, it looks like SOME BELGIANS are more likely to walk around all day talking to themselves than most Americans". So sure then, some Americans are more prudish. Hell, SOME American's are more likely to drink gasoline, and SOME American's are more likely to rip their toenails out too. If you dig far enough into our society you will find some religious wackos and puritan fuckups. They in no way represent the majority of the population. On the same token, anyone who cared enough could closely examine your society and find its share of wackos as well. Crazy people exist everywhere on Earth, it is not a solely American quality.
The point is that taken over a whole Americans are more religious than any other western country. I'm not even going to bother replying to the rest of your post because it contained no valid arguments. Why are you taking the fun away in bashing America? You're not supposed to be arguing. I was expecting an American to say 'OMG U SUX0RZ!!11'
How was I 'bashing' every American and Christian? Yes, I do find the fact that people tell you you're going to hell just because you don't believe in God disturbing.

When the hell did I say the US was insignificant? That would be a big lie. Ok, I asked 'Who takes the US seriously?', but obviously most countries do. And as for your claims that 'Belgium is insignificant', who cares what you think? We just think the US is funny.

And the 'Land of the Free' question didn't mean I was doubting it, I just wanted to know how some people with a brain size actually bigger than a walnut felt about it. Most of my posts were questions, by the way. The only thing I stated was that some Americans are more prudish and that those protests exist(ed), YES more than in other countries.
Sorry, freak, but the US is the most seriously taken country on earth. We our the richest country, and have the strongest military, therefore, we are the most influencial. You want a country noone takes seriously? How about Belgium.
